OST:滿紙 (Full Pages)誰肩上落滿星光,我心無恙。Whose shoulders are dusted with starlight,…
there's a detail that keep coming to my mind and people hardly noticed. how after Tian disappear we shift in a ghost folk story. we step into the realm of death from the start of the episode (the gate to the underworld), then when Tian suddenly disappear in the mountain the myst raises, we hear whispers the music is eerie, like in those stories when the dead beloved comes back but has sadly to go back to the underworld as the sun raises. am i overthinking? 😂
on another level i think Tian represent depression. depression is a sneaky monster, very often even those close to us can't detect it. so everything looks fine on the surface untill it's too late

I’m not the type of watcher who blames the writer for the death of a character, not every story has to be rainbows…
i'm sure there's adeeper meaning behind this, nothing is left to chance here

that's how you know something is well written, when you get angry at fictional characters 😂
i like to think so (sadly it's not always the case) also what you see here is exagerated. think of it like an old telenovela

the cps of the first wave (To My Shore and Sammy Children day) are working on a second project (season two for Sammy) DH actors just went back from a concert in Thailand and have 3 more scheduled. all the current couples are doing livestreams and Bittersweet Love cp has shot a 2nd drama already. the ship of working under the party rules has sailed (they're also currently banned under the current rules). but yes time will tell (D4 are a different pair of shoes also their management is to say the least peculiar) in the meantime we can enjoy what we get, hoping it lasts

i think we're doing therapy with Zelia, she's clearly dealing with grief and this series, or part of it it's her way to process it. this episode was beautiful and tough at the same time. we got constant reminders of death throughout the last three episodes and in the end we entered the underwolrd at the start of this episode. the story lets go its touch with reality the moment we step into the myst, like in a chinese folktale but at dawn the ghost dissolves and leaves the living behind to process this absence. Tian is now free, he's a phoenix in the sky (Zelia fooled me completely with this phoenix icon) his part of everything, he's the stars and the earth. a delicate way to send off someone you lost.

beautiful, and now Zelia i'll send you my therapist bills

chinese cps are going for that route btw (money, you know. if the formula works why not replicate it) i hope they don't feel as staged

i honestly want to know the mystery behind Teng Mo and the Mob boss's story
it's possible. we saw a law book on his table in episode 2 . we know he saw a murder and did nothing to stop it (maybe the murderer was his client?) and he's consumed by guilt because of it. i have this theory he was a criminal lawyer and was the sollicitor for the guy that murders the woman (his wife?) maybe he thought him innocent? or knew he wasn't and still took the job? being a defense lawyer maybe he has connection with the mob? also we saw the boss's flashback i didn't get which child he was, but clearly he has issue with a brother

in a real world yes, but this is just a fantasy written when this kind of dynamics (sub/dom, Tsundere ml weak 2ml) were on trend, so much that it's a trope. see them as a couple that works this way and it's happy with it

we've been following the evolution of their story since their escape to Thailand (and Malaysia) i have to constantly remind myself that it could be just an act (i'm anything but new to this world i know how it works), but they stepped out the fanservice zone so many times that i don't know...i want to believe

Luqing’s coldness makes so much more sense once you stop reading it as simple emotional distance. This is someone…
there's an element we can't forget about this drama. the characters are yes, well written and distinctive, and everything you said is spot on, but they also act according to tropes (Lu Qing is tsundere, FanFan is submissive and needy). this is an old bl written at a time where these kind of dynamics were the rule
