that's because of the strict censorship rules. they can't literally make such a ruthless and grey character (which is a shame, how much more interesting such a character would be?) but she's still very nuanced and they make you understand why she doesn't trust anyone and the effort she puts in opening her heart and trying to be a decent person. anyway that kind of critique would make sense, i was referring to those fans who were complaining that Zhang Ling He got less screen time than the 2ml (i don't remember his name right now, sorry) and that the drama was more about him (i have ti admit, probably because the censorship rules) the villain is way more interesting than the ml (who was waterd down especially in the 2nd half)

what can i say? therapy is underrated. BUT this is not an idol drama, so i don't think we're going to see many toxic fans here (they usually plague idol dramas, there're of course exceptions)) and we can hope for a good script and good acting (i'm sure about this second point, Liu Shi Shi is a terrific actress and she always choose interesting roles)

this is what happen when you join a fandom instead of going to a therapist (an army of therapist in some cases) the Princess Royal is another exemple. it's a beautiful drama with a deep meaning and memorable characters, everything is so well written, but all it got was fans whining that the 2ml was more important to the story then the 1st ml

60 episodes it's against the current rules, so i think it isn't true. sepaking of episode number rules, is it true they want to limit them to 26? or is it just for modern drama? (please don't do this)
