I don’t know why but I like to see him suffer some more 😭😭😭
I thought I wanted that too, but I switched real quick when I saw how much SSY was losing his mind. He's down bad and I'm a bleeding heart when it comes to a man in love 😥
I love the direct eye contact when Armin basically tells Tada "you can tap this ass for life". My mans Tada has a booty call coupon with "no limit" and what I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall when he cashes in 🤭
I found the book last week in the discussions and I was honestly not crazy about it. I legit had to drop it and rewatch the series from episode 1 to get back the magical feeling of the characters I've grown to love and care for through the series.
Armin in the book was far too logical for my tastes and I kind of found him to be boring. After experiencing that level of betrayal and coming back to life, I would crash tf out on everyone and everything! Charlie, Sam....a random ass teacup that reminds me of Charlie's dumb face...everyone and everything is catching it! So when there were comments about Armin being too emotional, I just kept it trucking because his reactions were tame in comparison to how I would have reacted. This is also what elevated the character for me. The constant resurgence of his trauma added a bit more of depth and dimension to a character that seemed just a little too 1 dimensional in the book.
Also, in the book, the fire between Armin and Tada didn't burn as hot as it does in the series...at least, not for me. While reading, I found myself questioning if Armin really loved Tada. Sure, the words on the page were there but I didn't feel it (if that makes sense). And I've read enough truly great romance novels to know that these feelings can, in fact, be communicated (and felt by the reader) with just printed words. I could feel Tada's love and desire for Armin but not the other way around. In the series, I have no question about whether or not Armin loves Tada. His desire for him is so evident it's almost palpable. And you know what? I love to see it! And feel it!
That said, reading the novel gave me a lot of context that made me appreciate what the Reset team has done to improve on the story. For example, Armin generally being a top in the novel made me understand Tada's second wish. It made me appreciate what it took for him to give himself to Tada in that way. It's a bit out there, but this also made me realize that they didn't make love in the pool at the end of episode 5...that was just a whole lot of tugging and rubbin...episode 6 is where it truly happened (just some useless knowledge for anyone who cares 🤣)
All and all, I think the whole team did an amazing job improving on and elevating the source material to what we have now. It's been an amazing ride and I know I'll miss these characters once things wrap up!
Right? Pond makes me fall in love with him more and more everyday
When I say I was locked in on every expression, I tell you! He really is one of the best Thailand has to offer right now and I want to see how far he takes it.
Also, I've never found myself watching micro expressions so much. That scene where Armin woke up and turned to look at Tada, you could see the moment his eyes filled with pain from remembering what he saw the previous day and his mind literally went "What the hell is this shit?!"
And when he slowly took Tada's hand from off his waist, you could tell he really wanted to yeet it but did it very slowly so not as to wake him up. If Tada hadn't gotten up right then and there, you could tell Armin was gonna get the hell out of that apartment 😂
I swear, whenever Tada and Armin are together, it's so electric! I should be watching two people fall in love, but here I am falling head over heels in love with Tada every episode!
My lonely virgin ass needs a man! But if it ain't one like Tada, I think I could do a could more decades on my own 🤣🤣
Welp! It's time to once again sleep walk my way through another week. Wake me up when it's Monday again.
Seriously, for 7 whole weeks I have not dreaded business Mondays. In fact, because of reset I look forward to Mondays more than any other day. I shudder to think just how bereft I'll feel after it wraps up. Shit has even got me using words like "bereft"...like wtf? 🙃
Can we just have Hua Yong reveal his true nature already? I swear, every time he turns those big teary eyes on Sheng and he gives in, that "got eemm" meme comes to mind.
I love me a manipulative bitch, but I'm also starting to feel sorry for Sheng 😩
I can't take it anymore, I need to rescue Sheng Shaoyou myself at this point! 😩
Ugh, Tada just wants the simple things and I'm here for it! My heart :)

Seriously though, welcome and I hope this will leave a good enough impression that you'll feel comfortable exploring others!
