Why aren't you still learning japanese? I tried to learn it too and gave up after 30 minutes /sigh.
Gosh yes, I wish korean dramas didn't take so much time to finish, especially when you realize all the filler stuff they add just to complete their run. Japanese dramas go straight to the point and can be hella good and coherent even with sometimes "just" 8 episodes formats.

I can't bring myself to finish MARS, actually. Not that it's bad or anything (it's actually quite good) but I don't know... I just can't sit down and watch the rest /sigh/.

Honestly everything on my "Watching" list is actually on hold right now. I'm pretty sure I'll start watching something new later tonight but I have no idea which one for now. I wish I was like you, seeking for underrated gems and stuff, but I always end up watching the extremely popular dramas. Haha why do you hate korean romantic comedies? Some are not that bad >.<
We are alike on one thing though, we both don't watch airing dramas. I don't know for you but I don't do it because I like to marathon sometimes and I'm quite impatient so yeah. Of course some asian actors/actresses could compete with talented western actors/actresses but come on, overall there's no doubt who's the best acting-wise. (maybe it's cause of the culture ?)

I loooove Yoochun but I never really went crazy over him. It's kinda always been about Jaejoong for me :)
Yeah, I love tons of other groups but just for their songs. I love SHINee, VIXX, Big Bang, EXO, Block B etc... I see you have a loooong list of favorite groups haha.

Oh... you're missing something though. Korean dramas are my favorites too but some of japanese/taiwanese dramas are really worth it. :)
