Also, since Tar is being blackmailed by Lhong, then how is he now connecting to Tharn? Unless he thinks the smol band member is Tharn's new bf, and is like, I must protect them regardless if I get hurt? I think Tar's an interesting case study, and I want to know more about his thought process.
That would be a good ending. He would deserve that and more *le shrug*
I know real life doesn't put away rapists like they should, but since this is fiction, I want proper justice.

I like how they show that time/healing is relative through Tharn and Tar. The one year is:
Tharn: V hurt and confused over unexpected break up. No news from Tar since then. Has trouble with the word "break up" & commitment, but is able to pursue another relationship.
Tar: The year felt like nothing. Had to relive the same experience multiple times every day (he might have had days go by with nothing only to suddenly recall what happened). 'Stuck' in the past (or more-so, the past stuck to him). Lot of trauma/ptsd/depression/anxiety - not a good time. (I also like how they talked about taking him to a psychiatrist. Destigmatize mental health.)
You can see the growth in TharnType's relationship with the type of argument that they had at the end. Type just trying to make sense of things (not resorting to violence). I cry. It was so emotional.
And then at the end when everyone was upset and crying - I felt that. I especially liked how Tharn just caressed "Type's side of the bed." He didn't lay down on THEIR bed - in my head, because it is something that it THEIRS, so it feels wrong if he lays down on it by himself.
Can we start a Tharn protection squad? This boy keeps getting hurt. If it's not physically, then it's emotionally. If it's not emotionally, then it's physically. He's a good boy; I must protect.
I really like the way that they depict different types of traumas and how people cope with them differently. Type's come back with nightmares and homophobia and he has a violent manner. Tar is depressed and it shows with the way the sound gets muffled, the dark paintings, him trying to get some feeling in the shower, hyperventilating, and getting stuck in his head. Even in lesser forms, like Tharn and "breaking up."
Wow, instead of being cryptic (and I know Tar is prolly saying this to protect Type from going through the same thing as him), JUST BE BLUNT & TELL HIM THAT LHONG IS A POS!
