If they stick to canon (and I'm only on ep5, so I don't know if we'll get there by the end of the drama), then yes... eventually. LOL
(I heard that Konomi-sensei confirmed their relationship in a magazine, but again this is secondhand info rip. There is a lot of build-up and hints towards closer feelings from all the forms and sequels of PoT though.)
I didn't really like her character in the manga/anime, but I think that I find Qi Ying (aka Sakuno) more annoying in the live action (I know there's character growth and whatnot, but this trope just isn't it for me). Probably because she gets more screen time because they cut out scenes from like matches and other stuff. TBH I want to see more of the boys and their friendship/playing than I want the focus to be on this love line.
Also, so many actors look way older than "high school" (at least they didn't try to go for middle school in the drama ver lol) & even though they did an alright job, I wish they cast people who looked the age.

Can we just give a round of applause for a good, healthy relationship? Not only does XHT try to learn about how sex works b/w two men (and how to make it feel good), he also respects YXG's limits. As soon as YXG makes a hard no (like when they're studying or when XHT wants to go a bit further when they're trying to pick his major), XHT immediately backs off, and I'm like YES!! Even in an established relationship, consent is important. I just, ugh, I cry. He's not even that upset about it. He just accepts it and moves on.
As a diehard Xianggu fan, this episode is a gift. Oh my goodness.
Agreed! I just like all the soft touches and embraces and their level of comfort with each other. YXG just casually sitting in XHT's lap while on the computer. Even when things get more steamy, the music still makes everything so romantic and loving, and I just can't. This series is really doing the most tm (I'm not complaining though)
Guys...I still dont get Xi Gu's joke about the Rabbit fairy and the Eagle thing...Can somebody help explain it?…
I saw someone ask for help about this joke a few days ago, too. Someone else replied that it's because the joke is that the words eagle + fairy sound like the word "prostitute" in Chinese, so the eagle just doesn't like the name.
I don't know Chinese, so I don't know how accurate this is, but it made me laugh.

I'm rewatching the ep now, and while I noticed SBX wearing his, I didn't see LZG's hand that clearly the first watch.
