So, this was Ep 11 Duang sees Qin's neck : π₯΅π₯΅ππππ
Qin sees Duang's lips and arms: πππ₯΅ Qin every two seconds: Thank you Duangπ₯°π
Duang's parents: his father is that serious part of Duang we get to see every few episodes, like when he almost punched that guy or talked Qin into reconciling with his parents.
Duang's mother is everything else. I love that they complement Duang so much
Qin's parents: I swear, y'all are just a little bit better than Pai's parent so I'll cut you the tiniest slack. But you're still f*cked up.
Duang and Qin, MUST YOU DO IT IN EACH OTHER'S FAMILY HOUSE???!! AND IN THE CHANGING ROOM AND ALMOST IN THE ELEVATOR?! GUYS, SHAME IS NOT DEAD!!πππ
Qin to his parents:. Duang and I are boyfriends.
His parents exchanging dramatic looks: I thought you were about to say you're ready to marry Duang. ANYBODY WITH HALF-BLIND ONE EYE CAN SEE BOTH OF YOU ARE GLUED TOGETHER!!
And this was episode 11. Bye now. It was so full of sugar and a little sour with Qin's parents confrontation.
Dear Pae, gotta love how he'll hide his face when his friends choose to embarrass the life out him.
Guys, is Kim not the cutest?? He's so beautiful they had to put glasses on him to tone him down!
In my opinion, this whole argumen tamong all six of them felt a bit forced. I get the camera thing, but the whole…
Yeah you know young boys are ALWAYS reasonable AND they make the best decisions. Wtf are you even talking about? Do you not know that it's hard to focus when you're dating newly? Or that when you're frustrated you can lash out like Kim did? What exactly felt forced? You're just looking for something to squeeze bad review in
This show would've scaled higher than ever, if they'd just managed the angst. I mean the entire thing was built on it.
Whenever I watch Pai, I still can't get over how he was completely destroyed. How that immaculate, proud man was tarnished and brought to nothing and we're just supposed to laugh along? Like, there's nothing funny.
Tim wanting to stay, is not even remotely enough. They handled this poorly.
Or don't get me started on the parents. No order will keep me away from my distressed son. I don't care who gives it.
I still love the show, still watching it. I just wish they'd handled the reveal better. Even Yu had to suffer and sleep in a dog cage. There's no satisfaction. If the angst was good, the audience would be the ones begging Pai to take Tim back. Because then, he'd be pulling our heartstrings like Van(Java) in that one episode where he cried while packing his things.
Suddenly, no one cared that he'd been a total douchebag. We just wanted him to be happy again. Same should've been for Tim and even worse.
I'm holding out hope that there'll be some resolution in the last two episodes. The actors are killin it btw.
I just want to remind people that one of the reasons why Duang's gift freaked Qin out, is because all his parents ever gave him, is money. He automatically doesn't translate outlandish gifts as love. It's one of the reasons why he kept that stupid doll for years. He'd rather preserve a silly sticker with Duang's face on it, than that present. Because it would mean you're passing over all the other things he craves, with money. And he didn't want that with Duang.
I mean Qin has money already. His shoes alone can pay Duang's rent.
Not saying Duang was wrong. Our cutie was absolutely justified for surprising Qin with the thing he wanted. And I'm glad he understood in the end. Also happy that Qin found a perfect solution.
I work hard to earn my place. Using your money on me when we're so close, cheapens our relationship and makes me seem like a loser. I don't want to seem like a loser, especially in your eyes.
I feel theres half truth half not so truth in your statement. And I get it might hurt to be reacted to like that.…
You're right, in a sense. This is a war between two different personalities. Neither understanding the other. You can't really say that Tiw didn't love Qin. The issue is, he didn't understand him. Now Tiw seems like a proud, loud and public person. Which isn't bad. But when he clashed with Qin's privacy, it was chaos. As expected. And like I said, he treated Qin like an enemy. That was wrong. But he's human. A kid at that. And after that embarrassing moment, he did the next best thing. Which was show that he still had it. None of his actions are right. They're just understandable. Duang is special.
I'm a little bit on Tiw's side y'all. Not in all of it. Just understand what he went through. Can you imagine loving a person that long, mustering up the courage to ask him out then he just snatched the doll and walks away? Like he's annoyed with you. In public.
So you die a little inside and decide to prove you can get someone else if he says no.
Sure, he didn't know Qin's backstory of why he'd rather die than admit his feelings that early.
Not everyone is as patient or nice or kind as Duang. In fact most of us are Tiw.
Tiw is the reality.
The only place he failed was shutting Qin out without explanation. Acted like they'd become enemies. Also, when friends transition to lovers, most times the person loving doesn't know they'd fall in love. They just start out as friends.
I think one of the things that makes this drama so good, is when you start to notice the little things. My personal favorite are Qin's micro expressions. I'd say Por did a really good job there. There are two scenes that I recall vividly. 1. When Duang said he could be a bottom. That he wasn't scared. Qin looked amused and teased him there. With his eyes slightly squinty and lips flickering with a smile. 2. Second one is the confession scene. Qin absolutely knew what was about to happen and just waited for Duang to open his mouth and they said it together. Loved how he looked amused there too. You could tell he was being playful by the tilt of his head, his eyebrows and smile. When he said 'what' confirmed it too.
This is for people who talk about Duang losing his spark. Did you know that it bothers Qin the most too? Qin would always do something out of character to make Duang happy again. Let's go back shall we?
1. When Duang was insulted by Somkid's character in the practice room. Qin was about to quit. But after hearing that, he decided to join.
2. When he came back to the same room, saw Duang looking sad, he whipped out his phone and followed Duang on IG, for work of course.
3. When Duang was sad about Qin's highschool friend mouthing off, Qin went home and liked Duang's post.
4. After they saw Tiw at the high school, Qin offered to shower with Duang because he know it'd make him happy.
5. He threw out the teddy. Confirmed his feelings for Duang. Asked what he should do to be better.
Honorable mention; THE FIRST BACK HUG.
It might not be immediately obvious, but Qin did his best. And he was attentive.
Here with a PSA DON'T TEXT YOUR EX! HE'S NOT LIKE DUANG. HE WAS NEVER LIKE DUANG. AND HE'LL NEVER BE LIKE DUANG!! AND EVEN IF HE IS, YOU'RE NOT QIN! THERE'S NO ONE LIKE DUANG!
Just watch, smile, and cry yourself to sleep. I know I will.
Someone down there said they don't like this episode cos it felt flat??!!! WTH?!!! Did we watch the same thing? Did your heart not break when Duang started to cry from relief and happiness all at once? Did you not feel bad for Duang when Qin went off with his friends and when he almost cried because he thought Qin's heart was racing for Tiw? Or when he heard Tiw asking Qin that question?
Did you not feel butterflies when Duang and Qin got together in that last scene? How they're chemistry was so good that it felt like I was invading their privacy?
What do people want FGS? I came here thinking people would be crashing out about Qin's earlier attitude and how he didn't really apologize to Duang. And although I understand Qin, understand that he has problems expressing himself, but I was so sad for Duang. I'm just happy everything turned out well in the end.
Also, the fact that Pai lost everything and Tim still stayed, is almost enough proof that he's genuine. Pai can see that. Although I hope he doesn't forgive Tim easily.
And why did Pai not go to his best friend, the one that always made Tim jealous?
Can't convince me that man didn't secretly want Tim around.

He has zero morality and treats feelings like a huge joke.
And why did Pai not go to his best friend, the one that always made Tim jealous?
