Duang makes himself act or look stupid either when he's nervous or wants to wring a laugh from Qin. As you continue to watch, if you will, you see that he does have depth. He's intuitive, he's very soft and kind and observant with Qin. Duang is not a one-dimensional character. Yes, he can come off as cringe, but I think the writer's and Teetee did a splendid job in executing him. Are you watching the cut or uncut version?

I think I'd just shed my victim mentality and accept that everybody needs help. I'd allow my willing partner to share my life instead of running to other people who aren't even that close to me. I'm on the second couple's side. When your partner says they're done, listen to them. He clearly felt suffocated and inferior. But instead of his boyfriend to leave, he chose to pretend not to understand. He hid his boyfriend's gift, bought another stuff for himself just to impress his friends, as if that other blow wasn't enough. You may feel like you're doing everything to make your partner seem presentable and awesome, but you may be crushing their spirits unknowingly. The fact that he had to resort to such drastic method is a clear sign that he was literally dying inside. The only thing I think he should've done better was breaking up after the birthday. Then again, repressed feelings have a way of exploding without control. Which brings me to the dude who decided to curse his ex with bad luck for breaking up with him. I mean, come on. You knew it was coming. But I'm partial to him too because he was made to believe his bf had been cheating with their friend. Anyhow, stop vilifying the second couple. Life isn't black and white.
