I've not read the book but according to what they've shown and anybody with eyes and ears could tell that it's people who break contracts and usually for selfish reasons that are to blame. He didn't force them to seek help. But somehow, he's the bad person now? Honestly, if N'Jane's outrage came after he found conclusive evidence that he hurts people, it'd have made more sense. All he found was that his friend was a thief and a cheat. Some guy profusely thanking Jane for helping. And Put being biased. So where's his anger from?
