Jianyu's character gets kidnapped by Hu Bowen's character and in the early days, his wrists are bound so tightly with rope that they are severely cut. Then, Hu Bowen's character withholds food from him for days and forces him to sleep in a freezing cold place. Later, their relationship improves slightly and he is allowed some fresh air; during this time, Jianyu's character attempts to escape but is recaptured. To ensure he cannot flee again, Hu Bowen's character breaks his leg and leaves him alone in a dark room for a week. Following this ordeal, Jianyu's character develops Stockholm Syndrome; he becomes dependent on Hu Bowen's character and is unable to function without him. But like violent scenes are too violent sometimes... I hope they change a little :(
