I want more
I love watching short dramas but every now and then I find one that makes me wish it had so much more screentime.
The Maid is one of those short dramas. The story is packed with potential and, although I truly like the short version of it, I wish the story could have been told by using a full-blown drama script. As it is, the story feels a little too fast-paced and I didn't have enough time to really connect with the characters or believe they had actually fallen in love. It just suddenly was that way and I had to go-with-the-flow. Too bad, because there are so many great romance short dramas out there that do show the progression of falling in love. Even in the span of 20 episodes with 10 minutes per episode.
This one fell short in that department. BUT I FREAKING LOVED THE REVENGE PLOT. It was so well done. I binged the entire show within the span of one day.
Do I recommend? Yes. It's fun to watch and sometimes it can even be a litle thrilling.
