Came across this movie as an in-flight option on a Korean Air plane and decided to give it a watch since the cynical name and poster caught my attention. After watching, I'd say a positive is that there were little to no boring scenes in the movie. I was able empathize with FL's struggles pretty well and felt invested in her life. But honestly, I just did not find her personality very likable. She was reckless in certain situations and overall just pessimistic all the time. I am not Korean myself, so I am curious about how representative her struggles are of the ones of real working Koreans go through.

I think you’re right. An arrow in the neck usually did it for the regular ones, but that didn’t take Gwinam out so I suspect it had to have taken way more than that but damnnn

Wow, good point made there regarding the distinction between the two and how their bodies actually reacted differently to the virus! I hadn’t thought about that and just reduced them to a singular “asymptomatic” type given their shared heightened sensitivity to noises and super strength/speed. Does that make Eunji moreso like Gwinam since she, in a similar manner, remained conscious after turning?

The writers said let’s make the bad guy defy all laws of physics and mortality so we can keep him in the show and make life difficult for Cheongsan

If you can’t kill the half human, half zombies like Gwinam or Namra the same way as you would a regular zombie, how could they even die? It annoyed the heck out of me that Gwinam of all people obtained the power of invincibility/immunity and was able to survive that long despite crashing on the cement, contorting every limb in his body and being stabbed in the neck multiple times. Is burning them to a crisp the only method to properly “kill” them?

Omg forget the love triangle! Gulmi stole the show. Every one of her attempts to gain hearts had me on the floor. If it weren't for her scenes, I'd probably have stopped watching.

I totally agree with what you're saying. I just felt like she already had plenty of time to work on building confidence to embrace her natural bare face but she spent far too long running away from this problem/hiding it rather than confronting it for most of the drama. So when the news came out, she was completely unprepared to deal with it since the only solution she had was to run away.

episode nine was a 9 or a 10. episode ten was a 6 or 7 at best

i was today years old when i learned this psycho in alice in borderland was daichi from good morning call! (...no wonder he looked familiar). someone pick up my mouth that is on the ground. i got major SLS in GMC, but despised him so much in AIB. just the way he was able to present two vastly different roles phenomenally is indicative his amazing acting!!

anyone like me attempt to solve the puzzles games with the characters but fail miserably... ? oh man, it only went to show that i'd probably be the first to die in a world like that. TuT lol the games dealt were surprisingly well-designed though. as in reasonably challenging and unpredictable, but not impossible. they'd make for fun brain teasers if only there wasn't a timer counting down to ur death.
