Yeah I saw that too. I watch her occasionally for entertainment but I don't agree with a lot of her opinions. She doesn't have a high opinion of Lusi nor Wu Lei as far as I've seen but if she does review this one.. I hope it's objective 🤭

True. I believe it was shown in the earlier episodes that the mom is NOT unaware of the fact that Niaoniao was defiinitely mistreated the past years which only makes it all the more puzzling not to mention horrifying how a mother would treat her thus or even worse than others instead of making up for lost years and all that..

Oh and just to add.. She knew there were of people around to "save" the girls eventhough the water was obviously not deep

Yes...we knew something bad was gonna happen especially after watching the teaser but I didn't think it would be that bad/horrible to the point that the mom didn't stop the whole thing and CSS would have died if it continued.. Plus sending her away. Ugh! 🙄😣

Rosy... You made me cry again 😭. That was almost too painful to watch. But the acting was truly great. Although I will never understand (nor would I want to) the motivations of the mom.. I felt like everything they wanted to convey regarding the characters was portrayed extremely well. The dad in tears nearly broke me. 😢

I must say that I agree with you as well. Although they have the same authors, i found Minglan a bit draggy and seriously struggled to finish it just to see what all the hype is about. I also didn't like watching several episodes of their childhood. The child actors were adorable but I felt like a couple of flashbacks would have sufficed for that arc. Anyway, so far with LLTG, I like how they are telling the story and the times I wanted to skip where the times poor niaoniao was being mistreated because it hurt watching it. 😅

When I saw that trailer where LBY said "I admired you for a long time but you show no interest in me at all.." I thought it was a real confession but too early for my liking.. . Turns out he was mocking/teasing her for having said those words at the banquet 🤣😂

They just need to give her a chance and get to know her better like her mom should 😅. I'm on episode 6 and dad is definitely adorable inlcuding her bros. 😊

Poor Niaoniao 😢. I couldn't help but feel heart broken from seeing her so crushed. If i were the mom I would embrace her and teach her so many life lessons.. But that's just me haha! Anyhow, her character is so relatable.. As all children even as adults always have this deep need for love and approval from parents/guardians. It is just so sad to see her so misunderstood and neglected. Hope things get better soon for her.. Great acting from everyone so far and the dad was adorable! 😂
