Pedophilia is not normalized in the story - it's depicted as wrong.
I’m not trying to say that it was being normalized but it’s the fact that they put it in the story that also had borderline incest was weird. Plus the principal falling for the student was outta pocket, if my memory is correct at the end the principal said something like “ we can’t do this, I’m your principal” totally disregarding the fact that it was a high school.
Don’t want to be one of those that compare it to the comic but I just wish they didn’t change the small things. They also could do a season 2 since they covered only 2 seasons of the book
History really went back like they were on a winning streak. I just can’t believe they made the psycho brother and the dense brother THE MAIN. It was so strange, but at least the 2nd couple wasn’t all that bad
Omfg what did I get into. The couple and their story is kinda cute but it’s just so much wrong shit happening like teachers liking students and an old ass principal falling for a HIGH SCHOOLER. don’t care if it’s a bl they really tested everything from brothers to PEDOPHILIA.
I tried I really did for bothnewyear but I couldn’t. Not only was there too many couples MOST OF THEM WERE BORING ESPECIALLY THE MAIN LIKE HOW. The dialogue seems to take forever, there is little to no chemistry between anyone and the drama in the show was really uneventful.
I have never watched this but someone pls tell me if the Lobelia school girls episode is in this and if so do they dress up as girls from the Zuka club to make sure Haruhi doesn’t leave.
