How is Shin Min Ah 40??!! Talk about beauty longevity
As a male, I agree with some of your points, but I think you need to be more civil. It will serve you well on this site and in real life.
People think they can be toxic online and get away with it, but it will harm their real relationships. We reap what we sow.

Thank you for sharing. Did not know this. But wouldn't this give alot of women a big incentive to not have kids?
I admire your composure in your response.

Those that think the FL looks as young as the ML need a reality check. I can easily tell she is older than him.…
I agree with some of your points and disagree with others.
First, why do you hate the actress so much? She's a great actress. Just saw her in Hometown Cha last week. Best kd I've seen so far. Seriously, check it out. It will make you happier.
Of course she looks older, but to me not by much. They look like they are similar in age.
I too prefer an older guy and younger female. But I seriously like this romance. The kd industry takes the buck shot approach. They make shows of all types and it's not like they're favouring noona romances. They're trying to give something that appeals to everyone.

the internet is what gave you the medium to write this comment right here, and stop acting like porn didn't exist…
Could you please point out where in my post I was ranting?

Yes, porn existed before the internet, but it's totally different. Pornographic pictures before the internet are in no way comparable to the graphic, violent, endless universe of porn we have today. It's like comparing grains of sand to a beach. Today's porn is not only harmful to kids, but it also harms adults.

Korea and all countries need to stop imitating the West and stop trying to cater to their values. It needs to retain Asian values.
Western values were at one time wholesome and upright. Anybody remember the great shows from the past? My favorite movies will always be from Hollywood. No one is gonna top them ever. But since 2017, I simply do not watch any english language entertainment. I just don't.
It's woke, ridiculous and unwatchable. They used to be the best. How times have changed.
Who created the internet and pornography?
These are American inventions. America has been the leader of the world since 1950. It has been the richest most powerful nation by a huge margin, but it also has responsibility to lead the world in the right direction. The internet is literally the wild west. There are tons of great things about the internet, but it shows the darkest sides of human nature in plain view. With a few clicks, any child can view the most vile pictures that in the past would have been illegal. Online porn is not just naked women. It also shows women being degraded and raped. And then there's online child porn. The internet is the wild west and it is enabling evil people. How on earth do we have an internet that enables so much evil?

Funny thing that. Scores of Indians want to live in America, (largest of all the immigrant groups after Mexicans,…
It's funny, when I was young, I thought all countries should imitate US and UK. I thought Korea should imitate the West in everyway. It's amazing how things have changed.
Now, I stand against Western values. I have stopped watching garbage western shows.
That's why I and many others watch kdramas.
I hope no country imitates Western values. They are going downhill fast.

One of the reasons I started watching K-dramas was for the lack of explicit scenes, violence, and language. I…
I totally agree and I thank you for your comment.
Most Korean shows are wholesome, but I am noticing they are becoming less so.
I will just have to skip those scenes.
Case in point, No Gain No Love on Prime Video. I'm relatively new to Kdramas, but that is the most risque kdrama I've seen so far.
Korea needs to realize that alot of its audience want wholesome shows.

Its fkn irritating , im a straight guy from South India, Bangalore. The reason i watch Kdrama is cz its not explicit,…
Thank you my Indian friend. I'm Korean and I totally agree.
Most Korean shows are wholesome, which is why I watch them, but yes I hate when it sometimes gets risque or raunchy to get more worldwide viewers.
Korea, please do not go down this road. Some people will ditch your dramas and watch something more wholesome.
A recent example of this is No Gain No Love on Amazon Prime. This is much more sexual than the average kdrama. I have to believe it's partly because Amazon requested it. I noticed it with their previous kdrama hit on Prime, Marry My Husband. I like both shows but skip the racy parts. Yes, I can skip it, but it makes me sad that kdramas are going in this direction.

Wow, so you have the Hong sisters, Kim Seon Ho, and Go Yoon Jung? I'm so excited for this.
I'm disappointed this is only 10 eps.
These are two great actors as ML and FL. They should have made it at least 12 eps.

I don't understand this writing on SFL, why create a lovely tension between her and the secretary when she will…
That's what puzzles me too.
They make a great couple. They were high school friends.
Maybe I just need to be more patient and let the writers do their thing.

You guys know how popular this drama is right now?
On Flixpatrol, it says it's the second most popular TV show on Prime, beaten only by Rings of Power Season 2, which is the most expensive television show in history by far.
Season 1 and 2 of that show cost Amazon about $1 billion.
It is up since last week, and if the quality remains, ratings will keep going up.
If it wasn't for Rings of Power, a rare anomaly, it would be #1 right now.

Edit: The figures change everyday. Sept 4 it was #2, but today #3. Right behind "The Boys" still a great achievement.

when my daughter turns 17y+, I will definitely recommend her watching. This drama would be a good education media…
I like your comment.
I think the first rule of toxic people is stay away from them as much as possible.
But what about at work when you can't avoid them? That's the challenge.
I think it's a good idea to keep a running written record of their actions so when push comes to shove, you have a clear indisputable record of what has happened.
Knowing what I know now, I would not have kept relationships with certain people in my younger days. They were toxic.
I wish I had someone to show me this and many other things.

While i am liking the revenge part, I am very disappointed with the romance. I don't really see any chemistry…
Honestly, I loved the romance. The music that went with it was great.

Seven years. He's 26, she's 33. IRL he's 28 and she's 40.
WOW. To me, they look close in age onscreen.
Edit. Had to confirm. You are right. Shin Mina is 40. Incredible.
But they make a great couple onscreen. I wouldn't even be watching if I didn't think so.

In 2022 and 2023, over 100,000 people died from drug overdose in the US alone according to the American CDC. That's a total of more than 218,000 people in two years.
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/nchs_press_releases/2024/20240515.htm

The per capita figures are similar here in Canada.

The West's approach to drugs is simply catostrophic.
Is anyone going to tell me the West's nice approach is the more humane one?
The stats are crystal clear.
