I've lived in Canada all my life. Up until 2010, the West were the best countries to live in.

All of Asia is tough on drugs. Period. Do you people actually think Communist China is nicer to drug addicts than democractic Korea? China has boarded people up during Covid Zero and didn't let people leave their homes. I read accounts of their police actually locking people up in portable washrooms during Covid. Their drug policy would make Korea's look positively utopian, yet I guarantee it's even more effective than Korea's. In Singapore, they put drug dealers to DEATH. Small wonder that they have the lowest drug addiction rate in the world. A healthcare worker once said drug addicts are ten times hard to treat than alcoholics. Between 1895 and 1945, the Japanese colonial government virtually eliminated opium use in Taiwan by licensing and treating existing users, prohibiting sales to others, and raising the price. By the way, who shipped opium into Asia? THE WEST. Read up on the Opium Wars. The Asian model WORKS. The Western approach is an abject failure.

My car got stolen by drug addicts in Dec, and I live in the safest million plus population city in North America. The police told me the thief, who they caught, would probably not even face jail time. Seriously. I shudder to think what it's like to live in a major US city.
In Toronto, our biggest city, a cop said people should leave their car keys near the door for the thieves to avoid serious harm. Cops have practically given up on crime.

Asians, go to twitter and look up Asian Crime Report and see the disturbing anti Asian crime that happens daily there. Big US cities are more dangerous than third world countries. In California, they don't even send police for shoplifting. Asian cities are magnitudes safer than North American ones.

If all this weren't bad enough, we let biological males compete in women's sports, enter women's washrooms, and even enter women's beauty contests! Here, if you have any reasonable objection to any issue, you are vilified as a transphobe, homophobe, or Islamophobe. In the West, EVERYTHING IS RACIST. They even teach our kids that everything is racist with Critical Race Theory. Asian countries simply don't engage in this nonsense.

I live here in Canada, and I'm not moving to any other country. I want my country to be strong and safe. I want the West to be strong and safe. The world needs Western strength and experience. But what I have seen the last 10 years is the West in rapid decline. All countries have their problems, but it seems the West has bigger problems than Asia.

Historians have called the 1800s Britain's Century and the 1900s the American Century. Elon Musk has said China's economy will one day surpass America's by two or three times. It's clear that we are in the Asian Century. I believe the white supremacy and white arrogance here needs to stop. The Western approach to drugs and crime DOES NOT WORK. Here's what I learned about MDL. If there's a drama that I like, I try to avoid the comments as much as possible. So many people are negative. They can't just enjoy a drama. They have to complain ad nauseum.

I'm a KD newbie so I certainly would like to find dramas like MMH too.
MMH is my favorite kdrama so far.
I found True Beauty had some similar elements to MMH: overcoming adversity, fairytale romance, high school bullying, improving one's beauty, endearing female lead, and a happy ending. It also deals with suicide. Much more comedy than MMH. Still one of my favorite shows.
