Nice to meet you Ayeesha :)
Do you have any other friends with same interest in far east in navi mumbai or a group or so? I have heard that there is a group in mumbai which regularly meets and arranges K-pop shows in malls. But I haven't met anybody of them ! Which town do you live? Vashi ?

Yes indeed. The koreans have more or less one objective - to strike at heart with entertaining romance. But once in a while some writers produce a very good story (School 2013). The japs target realism in any way they find. And they are as you say, very good at that.
You would have met so many people and kids in your work. I think you are doing a great job in getting to know and help them :) Here, our country is going through a generation change. People like me are now able to get good jobs and earn a decent living. 10 years back, almost 70% of urban population had started living in cities with nothing in hand but just one goal in mind of providing a good education to their kids. People hadn't settled. But now they are. In many ways, I think that though I haven't heard of families like Numatas here till now but soon there will be in coming years :( I have realized that many of my friends have changed their lifestyle.
Aah. I too want to race you :D On ep 6.

Good that you watched Heartstrings. I have long planned to watched that one.
For me, it started with 'A Moment to Remember' which I accidentally double clicked in my hdd. That film made me cry a bucket of tears. I loved it's music very much. Then I thought I should give korean movies a try so I watched 'The Classic" and "Love Phobia". That just got me addicted into k-movies. Then I watched "City Hunter" and I entered the dramaland for the first time. And ever since I'm in it. :)
How do you watch the dramas and movies ? Online or download? I download and watch it.

I guess nothing can match japanese style. K and J worlds are class apart and both of them are good in their own way but when they make same story/drama then its meaningless to compare !
I really wonder if there are families like Numatas in Japan. If yes, then there should be someone like sensei :)

I am also waiting for more of such films/shows. Right now, Kazoku Games' direction has taken me by surprise. I am not intrigued much my the story but the editing(both video and audio) has been quite unique. I cannot take my eyes of the screen. Have you watched it?

Kazoku game has caught me. I have seen 4 eps now and in my view, I have not been able to detect any flaw in its directing. I am no technical master but the way I see it, its way of display is just perfect for me.
Thanks for the recs. I'll keep in mind.
Btw, did the Koreans just copied TQC ?

When I used to get in a slump, I usually watched all the super hit hollywood movies which I skipped when I watched kj-stuff. After watching one or two, I started missing dramaland and that brought me back. This still works for me. :)

you may like it , you may not like it. If you like romance type dramas, then this one will entertain you in many episodes. This a mix of romance, comedy, human drama, slice of life. I just happened to find it very satisfying in the last episode. No other drama has left me so satisfied.

Wow, so many at one time. Incredible. I usually watch 2 series at max. I'm currently marathon-ing "Kazoku Game" and will then continue japanese "Mother" and korean "9:9xtravel". Recently I finished "I came in search of a flower" and was so overwhelmed that it compelled me to write my first ever review :)
