Title Ashes to Crown Spoiler
She was rude to the ML too.
I mean her past life shows you why she reacted that way.

I’m not hating on it. In fact, I’m kind of enjoying it, but at the same time, I feel frustrated with all the characters in this.

Title Ashes to Crown Spoiler
It's kind of annoying that she still hasn't gotten a win yet. It feels like she's being toyed with even though…
Isn’t it too much for a character who isn’t accustomed to schemes and how things actually work to suddenly make a plan with a perfect win rate? She’s doing well, but her opponents are also skilled; they’ve been scheming for years. Xiao Xun saw through her poison plot. Deng Yi betrayed her, she thought he only cared about money and his mother’s safety, but he wasn’t the type to leave his fate in someone else’s hands, so he let Xiao Xun go to keep another option open. Xie Yan Fang had stayed behind the scenes for years, so she expected him to continue that way until he found the perfect chance to counter. Instead, he used her plan against Xiao Xun to counter. She is still learning to be ruthless, to think ahead, and to account for every possible variable. This actually makes her character more human.

funnily enough novel chu zhao is just as much (if not more) of a xiao xun hater as she is here 😆 she absolutely…
Are the changes between the novel and the drama too obvious, or did they only tweak a few things?

Title The WONDERfools Spoiler
In Episode 4, Lee Un-jeong only played defense, redirecting vehicles toward Kim Pal-ho and refraining from taking the initiative to attack. But in Episode 7, he went on the offensive.

Because it's not.
Google say's it's inspired by unpublished Stan Lee concept titled The B-Team.

MDL for cdramas is primarily focused on idol dramas, so it’s unrealistic to expect the idol drama audience to…
I’ve heard Douban has better ratings, that they favor strong plots and well written dramas, but it’s not a user friendly website for international audiences. So I usually just Google the Douban score for a drama. However, I mostly decide what to watch based on a director’s or the actors previous works and their performance. I don’t take ratings too seriously.

why is everyone coughing up blood every 2 secs.. yo there's other ways to show someone is hurt LMAO
It's to show that the character has suffered internal injuries, which are far too common in costume dramas.

MDL for cdramas is primarily focused on idol dramas, so it’s unrealistic to expect the idol drama audience to engage with non idol drama to the same extent.

Since a lot of people seem to hate or dislike the fl in the comments I guess will put up a defence. She is really…
He does listen, but he doesn't grasp how serious her aversion to marriage is because she never communicates the depth of her trauma. While she has the right to not express her trauma, withholding this crucial information means he can't understand her perspective. It's not wrong for him to believe in their love, to believe there love could heal her... but her silence creates a fundamental imbalance. She doesn't express that his efforts feel like a burden, so he can't know. So to me, it felt like she didn't put the effort needed for their relationship to survive. Of course, later she tries and puts in the effort, and the ML, despite not knowing her story or understanding the depth of her trauma, still tries to understand her perspective.

I’ll admit the cast is full of good-looking actors, but I’m not familiar with most of them. Unfortunately,…
My experience is different, I skipped most of Fated Hearts and Legend of the Female General, and fully dropped Novoland: The Castle in the Sky. Shockingly, none of them managed to capture even a fraction of the emotional rollercoaster I got from LITC.

Never watched C-Drama before. Would you recommend Pursuit of Jade as the first C-Drama?
I feel like most C-dramas focus more on expression of emotions than on having tightly constructed stories. So once you connect with these kinds of dramas, you’ll enjoy them a lot.
