Not really though? They are simply doing a more connected version of what they did with the Reply series and that worked really well for them, with just the promise of a consistent theme to link each season together. This show also did really well both with the domestic audience and with the international audience and many viewers were deeply invested in the characters and their story lines (which I would say is the real deciding factor in whether people will watch a season 2) so I would say interest will be pretty high when season 2 comes out.
Just marathoned the first four episodes. This kind of show is MY JAM. I loooooove parallel universes and you pair…
I'm really interested in how the people in A react to Do Won (B). Last they saw him he was potentially developing an addiction to prescription stimulants and then about a day later he comes back to them with what's going to be some very interesting drug test results (plus anger issues and memory problems probably).
Regardless of what kind of relationship they end up having, I think the scriptwriters need to show Do Won realising and accepting that Seo Kyeong in World B is not the same as Seo Kyeong in World A. If they do this properly, any relationship route they choose to go down has a relatively high chance of working out (romantic/platonic/familial/antagonistic), if they don't, that's where things will start to get tricky.
after watching 10 th epi think head nurse is playing from the back of that patient ,she checked that patients…
I mean idk, that could happen but I'd say
1) the dinosaur for sang tae was good practice; she paid attention to what his interests were an then used them to help him process his feelings when he needed it. Using toys and puppets to indirectly or directly talk about a situation can be a really good strategy when working with people with ASD.
2) I would hope she checked the charts XD She's a nurse and if she has concerns about a patient (which she does because she's told multiple people she's worried POR is provoking other patients on purpose to get a rise out of them) then that's the first thing she should be doing.
3) I thought she asked KT if POR was close to ST because she saw him with the book she'd been reading earlier? The one POR was really possessive of. If that's the case, asking if the two are friends was a good idea because she has concerns about one of the parties involved.
Idk, maybe I'm reading things wrong and she is going to turn out to be the villain but, for now, from what I can see she's remained professional and followed best practice in order to help the patients and the hospital.
To be honest, many of the staff members give out a weird vibe to me. At first, everyone seemed so genuine and…
I mean, you do wonder how they all got hired sometimes XD
Some of the stuff, I can understand as just there to fit the 'vibe' of the show, but the fact they never seem to help anyone is more than a little worrying...
head nurse gives me the creepy vibes just like that obsessive Oh Park lady
Fair enough but, in terms of professionalism, she's miles ahead of the director. Her use of the dinosaur to help ST was excellent practice, as was her decision to immediately go a seek (admittedly useless) back up when ST had his outburst.
So far I'm enjoying it BUT I have a massive problem with the character of the hospital director. Yes, I know that…
Also, a lot of what happened between KT and MY in episode 10 stems directly from the hospital director's mishandling of the situation at the very start of the episode. Had he actually done his job and debriefed/offered appropriate support to KT after ST's outburst, KT would have been far less emotionally vulnerable and therefore less likely to fixate on his role as his brother's carer to the detriment of his other relationships.
So far I'm enjoying it BUT I have a massive problem with the character of the hospital director. Yes, I know that this is supposed be a fun, quirky drama and the characters reflect that but watching him completely mess up the handling of what went down at the end of ep 9 really irritated me (and the fact that his actions AREN'T painted as the wrong thing to do in that situation is atrocious). He's not quirky to me any more, now he's just irresponsible and negligent.
Head nurse, on the other hand, is a total bae and should definitely be in charge. For one, she actually seems to know proper procedure :P
One thing that caught my eye is that the parallel universe's Mukyeong seems to be more affluent than our universe's. For one, the train station is still open and, by the looks of it, was recently renovated and modernised (maybe at the same time that the one in our universe got closed down?). For two, the police station also looks a lot more modern in the parallel universe and, again, seems to have been built or renovated within the last 5 years.
Maybe it's just a stylistic choice to help the audience differentiate between the 2 universes but there's a part of me that wonders if it's going to play into the wider plot. Given that the moment of "diversion" between the two parallel realities seems to be the night the two fathers died, how much of a difference did it make when that didn't happen? Would it be enough to change the fate of an entire town? Who knows but I'm hoping we find out!
Short explanation, after first viewing. The train takes the Seoul - Mukyeong route. This is indicated because one…
From what I understood, the feelings were there but they maintained a strictly platonic relationship. The male lead acted as a guardian to the female lead and, because of that and his guilt surrounding her father, he wouldn't let himself develop a deeper relationship with her. Their relationship broke apart when she confessed to viewing him as more than a guardian and that was when he left.
I get your point but given the pretty rampant homophobia in SK it genuinely is quite a big ask for both the cast…
A gay man was linked to the recent outbreak of Covid in the Itaewon district... Some people have decided to focus on that (despite the fact he was literally just one in thousands of people in itaewon) and used it as an excuse to ramp up their homophobia.
I also hope that South Korea will make its contents more diverse! I'm not sure if Viki originals ever broadcast…
I think it might be airing as a webdrama in SK but, if it is, I'm not sure where.... That being said, I do know for certain that the episodes are going to put together into a directors cut and released as a film in SK during the summer :)

Honestly I only have 1 complaint about this drama and that is that now I want MORE!
