Okay, in episodes 35-36 they finally showed what really happened to the ML’s grandma. It’s so sad what happened to her. I don’t know if the ML’s grandpa got punished for hurting his wife? but I hope he suffers for what he did. And what’s even sadder is that his children, Dong Ik and Dong Suk, just let their mother be treated like that and didn’t do anything to help her. Then they chose to side with their father. Poor ML’s grandma. And the worst part is, it made me think — so the ML’s grandpa was actually abusing his grandma? How did they even come up with the idea that he had a relationship with the FL’s grandpa and that they both ran away together? Such a huge misunderstanding about what really happened 30 years ago between the Gong and Yang families.

As for the love story, honestly the policeman and nurse have the healthiest and happiest relationship right now because they’re not part of the family feud, so they don’t have many problems. If they do have problems, those are their own issues.

As for the ML’s auntie and FL’s uncle, maybe Dae Han really found the courage to fight for his love for Dong Suk at first, but it still ended in a breakup because Dae Han was all talk and no action. They had no conviction in their relationship and kept relying on the elders, so they’re not that different from the main couple’s breakup. They’re kind of cowardly too, so I’m not impressed with their relationship either. The only difference is the main couple’s situation is harder because they have more obstacles — family and work issues that are still there. So I understand why they grew weak in their relationship, unlike the ML’s auntie and FL’s uncle. They found out it was just a misunderstanding between their parents 30 years ago, so they got a chance to get closer. And they don’t have toxic coworkers — they just work with family, so there’s not much pressure on them.

That’s why I can’t judge the main couple, because their struggle is harder compared to the uncle and aunt. If you think about it, the uncle and aunt could’ve walked away and stood their ground, but they didn’t have conviction in their relationship either. Ji Hu is even more courageous than Dae Han and Dong Suk.

So when it comes to the love story, both the main couple are struggling more compared to FL's uncle and ML's auntie right now because of the complicated situation. All that’s left is to see how they’ll get their relationships back.

Now I just want to know what really happened to the FL’s grandpa? Since what happened to the ML's grandma was already revealed. Overall, this drama is still really interesting.

It's a rule that MDL kiddos autorate any dailies and weekenders as 7. something at BEST 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️0…
Yeah, they're ridiculous. I bet they'll bring it down even more next time because that's what they do with the ratings of other dramas. That's why I don't recommend others believe the ratings on this site, because the ratings are always unreliable.

It's 14th anniversary tomorrow of Bridal Mask starring Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong 🎉🎉🎉

Time flies they were brought together in this drama, and KBS truly missed them. Even though they were enemies in Bridal Mask they were given the chance to end up together in this drama — now that's a plot twist 😊

Back then, the Bridal Mask cast's conversation was so fun, they were like real siblings and they managed to keep their friendship strong until now. When Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong started promoting this drama, Joo Won and Han Chae Ah also showed support by liking their IG posts 💕

Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong's reunion is truly a blessing. Through the ups and downs of Ju A and Hyeon Bin's relationship, I can feel their dedication and skill in their acting. They really put their whole heart into it. No matter what hardships they face right now, they’re still the ones who’ll end up together in the end, so they're my top pick, then Woo Jae and Eun Bin, the policeman and nurse, and their friends VP and Jun Hyeok.

No matter what rating of Recipe for Love has on unreliable MDL right now, it dropped from 7.6 seriously?? 🤔 This drama is still exciting and interesting..

Okay sure, let's see what really actually happened with ML's grandma and FL's grandpa. Their disappearance and the way they make their presence felt are still a mystery 🤔

Maybe you're right in your assumption because ML's grandma and FL's grandpa are separate missing in that kind of situation.

Kkkk was way off about the mom being dead 😂 … maybe she just ran off on her own and the husband got into…
It looks like there's already an answer about ML's grandma, but I hope they also show what really happened to her and the FL's grandpa — why they both went missing on the exact same day?

I don't care anymore about the defensive people playing victim. They act scared and uncomfortable but they're still here in the comment section 🤦 And they're even making a dummy accounts. It's kinda crazy! I don't want to ruin my day today because of all the different comments, especially since the next episode is really exciting and interesting. There's even a reveal about Hyeon Bin's grandma in the preview.

It looks like ML's grandma and FL's grandpa didn't actually run away together — it was just a coincidence that they both went missing back then. I'm interested to find out what really happened to ML's grandma and FL's grandpa. The longer it goes, the more exciting the story gets. That's why I'm getting even more interested in this drama — the story has parts that are really exciting, it's just like Once Again.

For now, I'm more focused on the runaway grandma and grandpa thing. The love story can wait, since everyone's still relying on the elders. I haven't seen anyone brave enough yet. The only thing that matters is that there's no love triangle or love square getting in the way of the story right now. Which is, at least there's no major troublemaking going on. I'm just waiting for every relationship in love and family to gets fixed at the right time 🙏

The next episode looks heartbreaking, but there's already a reveal about ML's grandma. It's only Monday — please make it Saturday-Sunday already!

There has been a little too much of the same thing coming from people who are not standard bearers of what a healthy…
You're calling the FL's character arrogant, but you ignore the good she's done. At best, that's just ignorant, because you're clearly biased. It's obvious you always put up the ML's aunts and FL's uncles on a pedestal and constantly attack the main characters. You don't want to be called out because criticizing is really your habit. You can say whatever you want, but the way you always attack the main characters makes it pretty obvious. That's why instead of helping, MDL ends up confusing the viewers because sometimes the comments turn into bashing, and it's also very mixed. If the drama was bad, there’d be nothing wrong with telling the truth. But the story of Recipe for Love isn’t bad to the point that you wouldn’t understand or grasp each character’s behavior. Good thing I know some people who liked this drama, and thankfully they don’t know about this site. If they did, their experience watching it might get ruined because of the comments like these. Okay, this is also my last reply to your nonsense comments, since you’re even more frustrating than the actual drama.

She may not be perfect in this story because there's a reason why her character is like that, and also because of family influence. But she became forgiving and caring at other times. But just because you dislike how someone looks isn't a basis to say you're not annoyed at an actress. You're just biased, that's why you're criticizing the female lead so harshly. She already did something good, but you became hypocrite in that part. I noticed that once you became biased toward the FL's uncle and ML's auntie, you started looking down on the other characters, especially the leads. There's nothing wrong with saying who your favorites are, but belittling other characters is a different story. You can still share your opinion in a way that's respectful to everyone without putting other characters down. It feels like the FL's uncle and ML's auntie became a bad influence on the commenters here. The comment section wasn't like this before, but because of the FL's uncle and ML's auntie, the whole aura of the comment section became weird. To be honest, even if I feel awkward about the ML's auntie and FL's uncle's relationship, I still respect them as actors and actresses because I also appreciate their effort and the way they care for their co-stars in this drama. That's why I don't put them down as an actors. You can see that I appreciate every actor's performance here.

You say you don't hate the actress, but it's obvious you're just pretending. I'm sure a lot of people will like your comment because there are also many haters on MDL who like that kind of negative and unfair opinion.

Maybe they'll just show grandpa in episode 40 since there are still a lot of problems in each family's relationship…
Let's see what the truth is about that. Who knows you might be right about the story of the runaway grandpa and grandma.

There are so many good updates in instagram about the Recipe for Love cast 🥰🥰🥰

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYqsCm_EY6v/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

My favorite trio Gong Jung Han, Yang Dong Ik and Gong Dae Han, they look so cute while dancing together, I love them so much! ❤️❤️❤️

Then so many people are also requesting for the Recipe for Love girls to dance too like Recipe for Love beloved trio did. It's nice to see that the real viewers appreciate and are interested in this talented cast. I'm glad to see this kind of positive update 😊❤️

Actress Kim Mi Sook as grandmother posted a picture with Kim Hyung Mook as Yang Dong Ik on her IG, I love the friendship that's forming in this cast. I'm happy that Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong got such loving co-stars. This is a huge blessing for their drama comeback and reunion 🩷🩷🩷

Though the jagiya couple are struggling in their relationship right now, but I'm still happy that so many viewers sympathize with them and appreciate their great chemistry, good visuals and performance. Even if they don't get back together right away—since they're really the original Romeo and Juliet in this drama and it's expected that they'll have it harder than the others—I believe they'll get back together at the right time. This drama did really justice to Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong's improvement as an actor and actress.

The talent agency of Kim Sun Bin as Gong Woo Jae posted on IG about his cute pictures, holding a bouquet of flowers while promoting to watch Recipe for Love this week 🥰💐 As time goes on, Woo Jae just keeps getting more handsome.

I'm used to this kind of family problem in family dramas. Compared to other family dramas, Recipe for Love is really relatable, so I'll keep supporting this drama until the end. Aside from, really enjoying it. Even though a lot of tropes came in, it still hits the point. The plot's direction is so understandable that I don't care about the dummies anymore. What matters is seeing viewers who truly understand the drama and give fair, unbiased opinions. There's nothing wrong with freedom of speech, but you should also watch what you say. Before you speak, so that you avoid belittle or hurt the feelings of the actors who are working hard just to make this drama come together properly. I'm not expecting many people to like my comment, since there are really a lot of haters and biased on this site, but at least I said what needed to be said this time, because there are already so many unfair negative comments here that the actors don't deserve that, since they're all talented and putting in effort in their work.

Fortunately, I’m not picking sides among these cast members—I love them all. I’m grateful that all of them were chosen for this drama because this drama really feels like it was made for them. Whatever personality the writer gave them, they all nailed it and made their acting feel so real. They’re all great. Out of all the KBS family dramas Once Again and Recipe for Love gave me a realization to watch a long family drama again, even though I’ve been in a slump with these kinds of long dramas for a while, so I hope Recipe for Love family still get an award for their effort and for their excellent performances in this drama 🙏🙏🙏

Btw...Have you watched a family drama with 50 episodes?
It depends on the plot but yeah, most of the time other family dramas have messy storylines. But Jin Se Yeon's new family drama, even with its flaws, feels realistic when it comes to the different behavior in each family. This story also shows both the weaknesses and strengths of each character, and it's pretty heartwarming too, so I'm really enjoying her new family drama right now.

You got the point. Thanks for the clear explanation. To be honest, some MDL commenters are biased, which is why they're all in for the male lead and 2nd FL even though the 2nd FL's character isn't really that perfect either.
