Power of Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong! ✨🔥

Although this drama is rarely promoted, but because of the great and strong cast of "Spooky in Love" the rating and views are still high, so whatever the story it is, still..Congratulations for the hardwork of the whole cast of "Spooky in Love" 👏👏👏

honesly i really enjoyed this drama i fineshed in my own time and never felt bored. even tho there were some stuff…
Thank you Suzie for enjoying this drama too, and thank you for liking and understanding the characters of the main couple. Although the family here isn’t perfect, because that really happens in real life too and there’s no such thing as a perfect family. But what’s great is that the writer still wrote the story well — every episode isn’t boring and it was written realistically. Even though the families aren’t perfect, the caring and love for each other is still there. Honestly this drama is one of the great family long series this year, very heartwarming, it's also well made when it comes to family dynamics and has a lot of lessons. At least you understood the story well compared to other commenters who are looking for a perfect drama. Thank you for also sharing your own opinion about this drama.

Despite the mixed comments about this drama, the ending still recorded high ratings, at least it's not a total flop, Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong still managed to save the drama.

Beautiful cast of "Spooky in Love" 🥰

___________________

Although when it comes to the final episode, "Recipe for Love" still has one of the most satisfying endings and is one of the best family dramas that aired this year. But even if "Spooky in Love" isn’t perfect when it comes to the story, the important thing is I still enjoyed other parts of its episodes. Sad to say after all the kdramas I've watched this year. I don’t have anything to watch this weekend so I’m going back to my kdrama slump era again. It depends on what kdrama I’ll end up watching because there aren’t many captivating kdramas left that I’m looking forward to. I rarely watch kdramas now. I only got back into it because of "Recipe for Love". Thank goodness, because the story was so good and so heartwarming it's highly recommended drama, same with "Legend of the Kitchen Soldier" although it's opposite in the story of "Spooky in Love" but I still enjoyed this drama, I might go back to watching variety shows, anime, cartoons, short dramas, movies and random international dramas from different countries and I'm going to rewatch dramas again. Since the pandemic, I’ve skipped a lot of kdramas because some of them don’t have consistent stories.

Anyway it's Ong Seung Wu's birthday today, Happy Birthday! 🎂🥳🥳🥳

Oh, friend it's been a while. I'm happy that you commented again here on Jin Se Yeon's page. About Jin Se Yeon…
Thank you friend, I hope you’re doing well too. I really hope they get a chance to be paired up, but this time in a drama..

Although my weekend slump is starting, thank goodness Jin Se Yeon and some of the Recipe for Love cast still made me happy. Jin Se Yeon posted on her IG story and one of her co star who played co fashion designer Kim Jong Hun invited them to a musical theater event. The other co fashion designer was there too and Han Seung Won as Jun Hyeok was also there.

This isn’t the end here for the Recipe for Love team’s friendship. Even after the drama ended, their good friendship continues. I’m so happy rooting for this cast because their heartwarming friendship is really important. They treasure it and they’re really like a real family now.

This is the best family drama of the year for me. Whether it wins an award or not, since there’s favoritism in any award giving-bodies anyway, what’s important is that this drama was made well and got a lot of positive comments from real viewers and that is the true success..

i'm praying for a drama with kim myung soo, please 😭 (they did 2 mvs together)
Oh, friend it's been a while. I'm happy that you commented again here on Jin Se Yeon's page. About Jin Se Yeon and Kim Myung Soo, I also watched their MV and it's a masterpiece. The 2 MVs are so beautiful and realistic. And yes, they do have good chemistry too. But how things go in kdrama depends on whether people who've worked together on one project get paired up again. But if there's still a chance for Jin Se Yeon and Kim Myung Soo to be paired up again in drama that's okay too because their teamwork was good when they did the MV.

The ending...

Episodes 9-11 had a lot of angst. Although the ending of this drama felt like something was missing, but it wasn’t totally bad. At least the story ended happily. But of course we still need a satisfying ending. Among the dramas that ended this year, I still liked the satisfying final episode of "Recipe for Love" more. Still, I was able to finish watching "Spooky in Love" and I still really liked the pairing of Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong. Although this drama wasn’t perfect, but there were still parts of the story that I liked.

What makes me sad is that my weekend slump is back. Right now I don’t have anything to watch every Saturday and Sunday. The ones currently airing aren’t really my cup of tea. So I’m still going to miss "Recipe for Love" and "Spooky in Love"

Anyway, thank you to everyone who always replied, liked and understand my comments about this drama. I’m going to miss you all here in the comment section.

Exactly, that's why I still can't move on and I still miss "Recipe for Love" until now because it's also…
Actually the only one I liked from that writer work is the drama "Chocolate" But the rest of her shows aren’t really my cup of tea, so I wasn’t really excited for "Love on The Menu" even from the teaser alone, I didn’t like the vibe of the drama.

Exactly, that's why I still can't move on and I still miss "Recipe for Love" until now because it's also…
Yeah, it looks like the plot will be light too. Although I liked "Once Again" since it has the same writer as Choi Soo Yung’s upcoming family drama. But it still depends on whether she can also make a good story for this new drama, because writers aren’t always consistent. Her last drama with Kim Dami and Shin Ye Eun had mixed feedback, so it really depends. And you know even the director from "Once Again" and "My Father Is Strange" is also the same director of "Our Happy Days" but his direction from this daily drama is so boring. Plus, the leads had zero chemistry. It doesn't mean that just because the writer and director are from the production of "Once Again", their work will always be good. It still depends on what they do.

To be honest, after "Recipe for Love" I became hesitant to watch other family dramas because sometimes other writers and directors are just pretentious. Thankfully I really enjoyed "Recipe for Love" a lot, and I’m grateful to the writer and director because they did justice to the cast and the story in this drama.

The only ones I saw complaining about "Recipe for Love" were that bot, Inspector Megre, I think you know him too and the others who also posted here saying "Recipe for Love" was supposedly boring. And they brought the bashing to different drama comment sections and YouTube, including the "Love on the Menu" comment section. And the other commenters of "Love on The Menu" also like to compare and bash other family dramas which is super unfair because honestly, Recipe for Love’s story is still better and captivating and honestly dramas like this that feel realistic are rare, compared to other trash heavy or makjang family dramas including "Love on The Menu". To be honest no justice in MDL. Good thing there are still commenters who actually watched and understood the heartwarming story of "Recipe for Love" also enjoyed and appreciated this good drama with a great lessons, and there’s still a lot of positive feedback for this drama across different platforms.

It's nice to know sis that you've also rewatched "Recipe for Love" many times, actually it's so hard to move on when a drama is good written and made really well. I don't know when we'll get to watch another good family drama like "Recipe for Love" again? because some family dramas are hit or miss and it really depends on the writer and director whether they'll make the drama good or not. Although we didn't like the story of "Love on the Menu", it looks like the drama replacing it will be the 2027 weekend drama with Choi Soo-young as the main FL..

Choi Soo Young is in talks for a new KBS weekend drama.

On May 18, Saram Entertainment shared that Choi Soo Young has been offered a role in the upcoming KBS2 weekend drama "I Went to School" and is currently positively considering the offer.

Despite the angst in episodes 9-10

https://youtube.com/shorts/dNv3H1L9ecU?si=LJgmkbG0k9xm_zwD

I still love the chemistry between Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong. Episodes 9-10 might have a lot of cliches, but I feel like this drama will still end with a happy note whether it's rushed or not..

____________

Spooky in Love is rising on Netflix!

The K-drama starring Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong climbed to No. 3 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV Shows, recording 3.3 million views during the week of August 3–9.

____________

Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong’s Spooky in Love reached a new ratings high as their characters faced an emotional turning point.

Episode 10 recorded an average nationwide rating of 7.3% and peaked at 8.2%, marking the drama’s highest nationwide result so far. It also remained No. 1 in its time slot among cable and general programming channels.

After sharing romantic moments in Singapore, Park Eun Bin’s Cheon Yeo Ri became worried that Ma Kang Wook could be hurt because of their relationship.

In the final moments, she shocked him by saying, “Should we break up? Let’s call off the engagement.”

With its new 8.2% peak, Spooky in Love continues to gain momentum as the couple faces a major challenge.

Although episodes 9-10 of "Spooky in Love" already had angst, but at least the viewers are still interested in the story. I think the ratings will go up even more if the final episode really has a happy ending..

realizing that this might be the best family drama released this year❤️📌the current one is total trash!
Exactly, that's why I still can't move on and I still miss "Recipe for Love" until now because it's also one of the best family weekender dramas I've watched, especially this year.

Actually ever since this drama ended, I felt that emptiness for family dramas because "Love on the Menu" isn't really my cup of tea either so I tried rewatching "Recipe for Love" again so that at least my day would still be happy and comforting 🥰

From the start it gives as the typical kdrama romcom vibes. So idk why people are surprised. I do agree the 8…
Exactly you got the point. The last 2 episodes might be a bit cliché but Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong's chemistry is still there so I'm still hooked on their team up, and for now this is the only K-drama I'm watching so I'm sad, and it's going to end this week too. So even if episodes 9-10 are a bit cliché, I'll still watch it until the end because I still enjoyed this drama and I love Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong because they made my heart flutter with their great chemistry! 😍😍

I get the frustration of other viewers about episodes 9-10. It's a bit cliche but still, I love the chemistry between Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong and I feel sad because this drama will end this week. Actually I haven't even moved on from "Recipe for Love" yet and I keep rewatching the ending. Now "Spooky in Love" is also having its last episode this week so after this drama. I think I'll take a break from watching for a bit for weekend dramas because I don't have anything to watch for now.

In fairness, despite of cliche, the rating of "Spooky in Love" still went up, so at least the viewers are still interested in this episode, especially since they're looking forward to the ending..

Damn, there’s literally nothing left to watch. I feel like there haven’t been any good K-dramas in August.…
Same, my weekend is going to be empty too because after this drama, I won't have anything else to watch either, the only thing I can do right now is rewatch the dramas I've already watched and maybe I'll also rewatch "Spooky in Love" again, but if you also want to rewatch the dramas you've already watched, sure go for it..

The great thing about these longer kdramas, the ones which are of high quality,is they are also highly REWATCHABLE.....Since…
Mine is different — even though this drama is long, I still can’t move on until now because I really enjoyed and appreciated the story of "Recipe for Love" and I still miss so much that drama and the cast..

Since "Recipe For Love" has already ended so the only drama I'm watching right now is "Spooky in Love" and this will also end next week, so I’m really going to go back to being in a slump again because I won’t have anything to watch after "Spooky in Love" I skipped "Love on the Menu" for now and I stopped watching family dramas for the meantime and the other short upcoming dramas aren’t my cup of tea either, so my weekend is going to be empty again.

If only you knew how much I miss the dramas I love the ones that are almost finished and the ones that have already finished. I’m feeling even emptier, especially now because there are so many dramas that are hit or miss, so I’m definitely going to rewatch "Recipe for Love" and "Spooky in Love"

Park Eun Bin, Cheon Yeo Ri vibes on her new advertisement, she's so beautiful and so cute! 😍

And Park Eun Bin takes the No. 1 spot among the drama actors generating the most buzz this week!

According to the latest FUNdex ranking, Park Eun Bin led all drama actors with a 6.08% buzz share, putting her ahead of Yang Se Jong (4.61%) and Lee Dong Wook (4.57%).

Her strong showing comes alongside the continued attention surrounding “Spooky in Love,” where Park Eun Bin stars opposite Yang Se Jong. The drama has been building momentum throughout its run, helping keep its cast firmly in the spotlight.
