This is one stupid mess.... married couple cheating should never be normalized... That's just me. This one is…
I get it if this drama isn't for you — after all, we don't all have the same preferences. Honestly, not a big fan of cheating trope either, especially with the swapped spouses angle, from ML's auntie and FL's uncle. I don't get why the others are so into this? though honestly their part is kinda awkward..
That said, the drama doesn't just focus on that. I end up paying more attention to the other scenes that matter more, instead of that one part. This drama feels pretty realistic in some ways, and some of the other scenes actually happen in real life too. That's why it still has a good and exciting story that is more reasonable..
This drama isn’t over yet but some people here are always judging each character in this drama, especially Inspector Megret who still have guts to post here 🤦🫤 And they always keep hyping up ML's aunt and FL's uncle, which makes it come off as biased..
Right now, each character might seem a bit weak because of the complicated situation and their behavior, but let’s look at the whole story first before we say just anything about the characters. Who knows, even ML's aunt and FL's uncle might have their own moments of weakness too. Because they’re also a bit cowardly when it comes to telling their family the truth about their relationship.
We don’t know the full story yet. Plus, a lot is still going to happen. Not all their problems and complicated situation will be resolved right away this time—they still have challenges ahead to go through. Remember, this is a family drama with long episodes. If you think about it, there are actually more annoying characters in other family dramas compared to this one. At least here, every behavior is grounded in real life.
What really matters here is that things don’t get too heavy, and there are still happy parts, so the story is still picking up.
At least this drama isn’t as heavy as some of the family dramas we’ve had before. Plus, this story is actually based on the real, varied personalities of family. And compared to other dramas, at least this one is somewhat realistic.
Sometimes I notice that the comments here are even worse than the actual drama, which is still good up to now.
After watching family dramas for so long aside from Once Again, honestly I really feel the presence of this family drama more, because aside from the story being super relatable and having heartwarming parts, the cast also has great chemistry and they’re all amazing at portraying their characters. And there are still interesting parts in this drama that hasn't been revealed yet, so the story still has that excitement! 🥰
Maybe the leads just had a weak moment this time because they're still young in the relationship and they have careers and family they're taking care of. There are also relationships go through situations like this, so I can also relate to what they're going through. It's unrealistic for a person to have no weaknesses. In truth, everyone has their own weaknesses too when they go through on really tough problems and trials.
And for those saying they had no love chemistry since day 1—honestly, they do have chemistry. That's why they received many positive feedback and people got swooned over their chemistry, because they really suit each other. And don't forget, Hyeon Bin is also a green flag and Ju A and him were being honest to each other, which is why their relationship back then was also good. It just happened that they weakened at this moment because of pressure from work and family. Anyone would also weaken in a situation like that.
As for the uncle and auntie, honestly a swapping spouses relationship is kinda awkward. It's just that it feels like something's off..
And honestly, even the FL's uncle and ML's auntie had also weak moments on their dating back then. And even them they hide their relationship from their family for a long time either because they were also scared of what could happen. So there's also some cowardice on their part because they were embarrassed about the situation. If Jung Han hadn't caught them, they would've kept hiding their relationship, which is why I'm not that impressed with their relationship either. It just happened that they became strong because the uncle knew his ex-wife, got fooled him again by a fake pregnancy, so they found a way around it. Even them if they are in the leads' situation and they're still new in the relationship, when a big problem comes, they will also weaken. If they’re standing firm in their relationship now, it’s because they already have experience and have been married before. Not because they're always strong.
To be honest, I do like Ju A's uncle, but I just wish he ended up with someone else instead of the swapped couple situation that happened. And his new gf got close to the ML's family.
The leads may have weakened right now because of the intense problems, but before we judge them, let’s first look at what the whole story is from their side. The story isn’t finished yet, and there are still a lot of things that will happen in the remaining episodes.
This is really how real life is, some people weaken, and some people are strong-willed. People have their own personalities, so we’re not all the same in terms of attitude. The writer is showing that people differ when it comes to beliefs and behavior, which is true. That's why the male lead has moments of weakness because he faced his parents' separation and his family's problems early on and at a young age. So every moment of weakness has a real reason that we should also understand.
If you weren't biased, you'd understand both the weaknesses and strengths of each character in this drama without judging them right away. At least you get why their decisions and behavior turned out that way.
That's why I'm thankful Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong ended up in this project now, because this kind of situation and story is relatable.
On the bright note, it's nice see that many of Jin Se Yeon's former co stars are full support for her drama right now, and there are viewers and fans who appreciate her great performance. They're also continuing to watch closely and support Recipe for Love. I'm also happy about Jin Se Yeon and Park Ki Woong's return, because there's a lot of positive feedback for their comeback drama this is really a pleasurable moment.
I like the happy scene part with Gong Family it's touching to see their scene. This is one of the best scenes I've seen in this episode 🥰
Although in episodes 31-32 had ups and downs due to the problem and trials of the situations but there's still happy moments so it's not totally heavy for these episodes.
Even though the main couple broke up, I don't think they're boring. In the previous episodes, their relationship was good. It just so happened that the problems in their relationship started, so they ended up in conflict situation. But the good chemistry between the two of them is still there. Even from the start, this breakup between the leads was expected, because no relationship is perfect especially when their families don’t get along well. That’s why the plot is set up like Romeo and Juliet since they’re really going to struggle with their situation. Also, the plot makes it clear that they’ll have a hard time with the elders because of the ongoing feud between their families. It's not just in Korea, I've got people I know who are in the same situation with Ju A and Hyeonbin when it comes to relationships, so I can relate to the story of this drama because this also happens even in real life.
About Woo Jae and Eunbin, I understand why they’re not focusing on the love story, since they’re still young for a situation like this, so far they need to focus on more important things first. If they're really meant for each other, their relationship will come around at the right time. But for now, it's still too early for that.
Also, just because the uncle and auntie fought for their relationship back then doesn't mean they didn't go through hardship from their family either. They struggled too, just like the leads.
It's also very clear in the plot that this drama is about the feud between families. So as long as they don't find out the truth about what happened to their grandparents/parents/spouses the conflict between the Gong and Yang families will keep going. You can expect this kind of situation to come up again and again.
This drama is only halfway through, so it's natural for each family and relationship to run into problems. It wouldn't be realistic if there weren't any issues and challenges for the families and couples. Even in real life, families and couples don't always have it easy they have problems and trials too. Honestly, some family dramas are even worse. Some get frustrating before they even hit the halfway mark. At least with this drama, even when problems come up, there's still a happy part included in the story.
Also, not all families act the same some are good, some aren’t. That’s why this drama is so relatable, because families with attitudes like this really exist.
There's a saying that life isn't always a rainbow, it also comes with trials and problems, and this is really the reality of life, that the drama also wants to convey.
I love the drama Once Again, but I can relate more to the story of Recipe for Love, so no matter what happens in the story ahead, even if every character goes through problems, I’ll keep watching it until the end. It’s not just that I can relate to this drama, I’m also impressed by the actors and actresses who play the roles well.
There are still a lot of episodes left, so it’s natural that more trials and problems will come up in the upcoming episodes. But in the end, everything gets sorted out and falls into place. That’s why I won’t give up on this drama, no matter what happens.
That idiot megre blocked me as well, as if i care, because i called them out on another drama page, the thing…
Yes he is really a hater, I thought he only blocked me, so it turns out that even you got blocked by him, and I notice that suddenly there are a lot of people liking his comments including his minions so weird, he's such a terrible person..
Jin Se Yeon posted on her IG about receiving a coffee truck in the set of Recipe for Love and even she has a sweet message, I'm so happy because she enjoys and appreciates every food truck or coffee truck she receives on her drama set. It's nice to see that many people love her and continue to support her. And there are many messages from the viewers and fans saying that they enjoy her drama "Recipe for Love" 🥰
i find this drama very difficult to make comments ....one thing is that i know it will be a really happy end with…
I get your point about that but at least this drama is not totally heavy unlike the other family dramas that full of frustration. The main problem is just about the Gong and Yang family's feud over to what happened in the past, and them not approving of their grandchildren and children's relationship. Then there's Dr. Han's illness and the search for grandpa. But overall, the story of this drama is still flowing really well.
@InspectorMegre and his minions are spreading nonsense here again because they're haters and feel guilty. So even if it's rude, they'll still say it. They're really terrible people. And then he even accuses that he's being harassed, when he's actually the real hater.
I suspect that @KasumiArimura @jimmy467 @julia123 are just one person, who created multiple accounts, It's obvious from their biased comments, and their watchlist is blank.
This @nonFan posted something and InspectorMegre's reply back a nonsense answer again just so he can still comment an unfair and hate on the actors/actresses..
@InspectorMegre's comments feel like spamming. I just realized why he wants to block me, so he can keep posting freely to judge the story and characters even though he hasn't seen the whole drama yet and I found out accidentally that he also a hater and biased in other drama comment sections too. So it doesn't surprise me anymore that what he says is really weird. To be honest, we can share our opinions, but it should be done in a respectful way. This is a family drama, and it's natural for families to not always have perfect behavior. That's why this drama shows the real attitudes of different families, which makes it very relatable. Compared to other family dramas, at least this one is based on real life and isn't just labeled a 'family drama' for the sake of it.
After all the hurt feelings and headache that the haters gave me in this comment section, fortunately Hyeonbin and Ju A had that healing scene in the episode today 😭🩷🩷🩷
Both happy and sad moments in Recipe for Love family 😊🥺
A great performance by all the cast 🥰
Jin Se Yeon as Gong Ju A and Yoo Ho Jung as Ju A's mother, They're both so good here. I'm crying at their scene while watching them, such a great actresses. This drama did justice Jin Se Yeon's performance 🫶🫶🫶
Honestly my feelings are all mixed up today, due to what happened but luckily Recipe for Love is airing today, so at least this drama lightened up my day! 🥹🥰
yeah bc the supporting cast are very experienced actors, and older, more mature, so they shine even if they show…
If you block me, no problem. But at least I got to say the real improvement of the main leads and how well they performed this time in this drama it’s sad, I thought your understanding person but it turns out you’re just another hater. I wish you had just been better, because I know you also have a chance to change. But anyway I’m still thankful you gave a fair comments before about this drama. but it's just sad that your perspective changed.
yeah bc the supporting cast are very experienced actors, and older, more mature, so they shine even if they show…
For me they still deserve to get an award because they improve this time around. It doesn’t mean only veteran actors have the right to win an award. Those who improved and played their characters well have that right too And the main leads proved their worth in this drama.
yeah bc the supporting cast are very experienced actors, and older, more mature, so they shine even if they show…
I get your point but to be honest, they've been able to practice because they're not also new to this industry anymore. But at least they still carry their characters well in this drama so they also deserve to get an award this year too..
yeah bc the supporting cast are very experienced actors, and older, more mature, so they shine even if they show…
What are you talking about? Saying they can’t act? They can act too. It’s not all about looks, acting matters too. That's why the audience liked them it wasn't just about looks, but they also portrayed their characters well. And especially, they're both improving because the director also knows how to direct every actor/actress here.
Good thing there are people like you who comment like that. At least you still have appreciation for the lead, not the kind who steps on other characters just to elevate your favorite actors.
I don't know what this post is for? You think you have right to tell other people what to do? It is free forum…
Yes, we do have the right to share our opinions, but not in a way that’s insulting or being biased just to belittle other characters who are also putting in effort for their roles. We can express our opinions properly without stepping on other characters. Okay.. there's no problem with sharing your comments, because this is open forum for everyone but just do it in a responsible way. And also, there are dummy accounts posting the same thing, so I can’t just stay silent.
They're the truly talented and cute ones in this drama 😍😍
The people comparing things here for now has a serious bias problem, I can tell from the comments that the opinions are starting to sound the same. There’s obvious bias. I have a feeling some people are making multiple accounts just to stir up this comment section, coz it wasn’t really like this before.
They hype up their favorite veteran actors and put down the younger ones that's really ridiculous. You can still say what you like and appreciate your favorites without stepping on other characters. Honestly, all the cast here are good and there are no weak links. This drama wouldn’t get praised if it weren’t for all the actors/actresses in it, because there really isn't any bad acting here. They all played their characters well.
Before, we at least used to understand each other about what was really happening in the story and with the characters of this drama and we still appreciated how well they performed. Now it’s just constant comparisons instead of actually understanding the story and the characters’ situations. I miss when we used to get along with each other’s opinions, but once a dummy showed up making multiple accounts in this comment section, this thread suddenly became chaotic.
I hope the moderator sees the malicious hater making multiple accounts here, because it’s not helping in the comment section at all. Honestly, the performances of the actors/acttesses here are great and the drama is still good up to now, so the cast don’t deserve to be compared like that..
Being an actor isn’t easy. You can see that they’re all putting in effort to make their performances good. Honestly, the drama wouldn’t be this good if even one of them had bad acting. I hope you can be fair in your comments, because it’s just sad to see this comment section starting to look like other drama comment sections with have toxic commenters.
I’m asking you to please stop comparing and being fair in your comments. Let's give this comment section some peace, because we don't really have anything to fight about. We can all see that every actor here is putting in effort. I hope we can also appreciate each actor’s hard work. Acting in a long drama is tiring too. honestly I really admire these actors and actresses coz they’re so professional for this long project. In fact, I hope they continue to achieve success and get the recognition they deserve for their excellent performances in this drama.
Actually the ones whose comments I see as reasonable so far are from @Pmod178 @mugen2727do @DavidPENNY, at least @BickelKu stated his/her favorite without stepping on anyone. I may not be able to mention everyone else by name since there are so many of you, but I still see commenters who base their comments on what's actually happening in the story.
I’m asking all of you, let’s bring peace back to this comment section. Constructive criticism and fair comments are acceptable, but unfair comparisons and insults that no longer relate to the performers or the story itself that's not right anymore.
I hope guys we actually talk about what's really happening and what this story truly means, so we can understand the characters' situation. Honestly, we shouldn't be enemies in this comment section, I was actually happy before, because we could talk about this drama with our opinions based on it, but when the dummy showed up, it influenced some people here in the wrong way.
That said, the drama doesn't just focus on that. I end up paying more attention to the other scenes that matter more, instead of that one part.
