Honestly even second FL is not perfect character either, that's why this is my least favorite drama from Jin Se Yeon because the plot stirs up arguments so that the biased fans and hater commenters can take advantage of it..
The episodes 23-24 are still interesting epi and I still like the good humor so far in this drama, anyway despite the repeated feud between the ML and FL's fathers and FL's mom & ML's stepmother, there are still some good things happen in these episodes between our main couple! 😍😍
I'm glad that finally Ju A had the courage to admit from their co fashion designers that the one her really dating is Yang Hyeon Bin, I like this part between them 🥰🥰
And there are the beautiful and sweet moments between Ju A and Hyeon Bin 🩷🩷
Actually the only thing that I don't like the fake boyfriend parts, but I hope at the right time Ju A and Hyeon Bin will also be able to admit to their families about their real relationship, no matter what happens and I hope they don't keep this hidden for too long anymore..
About Ju A's mother, though she is not a perfect mother but even if there is a possibility of her getting sick, but I hope she still doesn't die until the end, I want to see her change, honestly I've gotten traumatized by the family dramas, I've been hearing about their other family characters die even it's unnecessarily, I hope the writer in this drama doesn't copy or follow that same pattern, this is a heartwarming and light-hearted drama, so I hope not a single character dies in this drama no matter what each family's attitude is, what's needed here is for everyone to change and not death, they're only fighting because of their runaway grandparents/parents/spouses but there isn't really any serious villain here, this is just a family conflict that needs to be fixed..

Actually sometimes the mind of writer Park Ji Sook is always unpredictable but even though this drama has a problems or arguments in other part of episode but she still writes it with a happy parts that's why the flow of story is still interesting..
Like I said before family life isn't always a rainbow, it's natural to have fights in this kind of situation because in the plot it's clear that there is a family feud, as long as they don't know the real story about their parents/ grandparents/ spouses who ran away the ML and FL's fathers and also FL's mother and & ML's stepmother definitely going to keep arguing repeatedly and that's their role but of course I hope the writer still handles the story in a right way, so the whole story stays consistent until the end..
Btw...I noticed there is a 2nd users named @Criticasinfiltro the reviewer above in this site who gave this drama a 1 percent straight and even left a destructive review in this drama he/she is definitely a troll, most of the time not all but some of the commenters on MDL are really haters and not real commenters that's why the ratings keep changing and inconsistent, we need a fair reviewers or commenters in this site and we don't need a toxic haters, so those who are interested watching this drama won't get confused..

I suddenly remembered The Flower In Prison starring by Jin Se Yeon, veteran actor/actress Kim Mi Sook and Joo Jin Mo who also part of Recipe for Love, their historical drama will be also 10th Anniversary this month and now while I'm watching them in Recipe for Love, I always remember them in The Flower In Prison and how they became friends during that drama, time flies I followed this drama back 2016 and now we are on 2026, I'm happy they got a chance to reunite in Recipe for Love, what a memorable moment? 🥰
After Recipe for Love or maybe in the future I'm hoping to see Jin Se Yeon in historical drama again, I suddenly missed her in this genre.
In episodes 21-22 started having ups and downs in the family and there are weaknesses through secrets from relationship etc.. but it still an interesting episodes with good acting from the cast.
I understand every opinion from these episodes, I hope Ju A and Hyeon Bin reveal their true relationship from their family at the right moment and not drag it out and I also hope they should stop deceiving their family from their real relationship, so the situation doesn't get worse, I don't like the idea that they pretended Jun Hyeok as Ju A's boyfriend just to cover up their real relationship, I hope this doesn't become a way for Jun Hyeok to make him a third wheel, if this happens this is not good anymore, I hope the writer thinks this through and doesn't make the situation more complicated between Hyeon Bin and Ju A's relationship, she started the main couple with refreshing without third wheel or love square, I hope she does this until the end and don't drag it out just to create a third wheel mess, I also hope she doesn't ruin Ju A and Hyeon Bin's characters, just to have something to get annoyed about because I don't want to be disappointed either..
But anyway not only Ju A and Hyeon Bin, at this point each character or family has their weaknesses due to the situation but hopefully they'll stand up for what is right and grow up while there's still a chance.

What not a good actress? Hello there's a room of improvement, Jin Se Yeon actually has potential the acting progress is wasted through wrong drama projects but she can act well if the drama is good and the writers and directors are skilled.

Oh, I love Queen Love And War too @Tia, Jin Se Yeon is also good there, though historical drama doesn't need overly dramatic acting and the expression is kinda limited because their action is just in the words but her crying scenes are meaningful that one thing I liked about her 🥰 We may have different tastes in drama but I hope you enjoy QLAW 😊 But if you have time you should try watching Recipe for Love too this drama is good so far.
About Ha Ji Won she is also good in Chocolate and I also like her in Empress Ki with Ji Chang Wook and The King 2 Hearts with Lee Seung Gi and Jo Jung Suk, trivia back then in one interview of Jin Se Yeon she said her favorite actress is Ha Ji Won so it means she also admires Ha Ji Won's performance, though not a big fan of heavy drama right now but I'll also try checking out Climax.

You'd probably fight back too if your favorite actors or actresses was being criticized this is natural especially there's so many haters in this site, yeah I've got faves but I'm not that biased, I try to understand every actor and actress whether they have flaws or not, but I'm disappointed with misogynists in MDL, I'm sure there are many women on this site like us but they really harsh on their fellow women a.k.a actress, which is very annoying, I saw the comments about Climax it looks like there's a lot of negativity especially to Ha Ji Won because she accepted GL on her comeback drama, though GL drama is not actually my cup of tea but Ha Ji Won doesn't deserve the harsh comments from the other people, she is a good actress maybe she just wants to experience a different character, about Ju Ji Hoon I haven't watched the Climax yet because I'm craving for more heartwarming drama now, so I can't comment on his performance there yet but I like his other dramas like Trauma Code and Kingdom, I'm wondering if Climax is good or not? because there are mixed comments in that drama, about Jin Se Yeon, I understand your own perpective now about her, through your explanation but even if she inexperienced because she is a new actress that time but if the director and writer are good the acting of an actress won't be ruined, Jin Se Yeon can act well if the drama is deserving and it has a good script, good director and writer, honestly even anyone could've played Dami's character they can't saved that kind of character too, but whatever it is Jin Se Yeon still has cute visuals, so I'm still keeping up even not a big fan of this drama. I know you're not a fan of Jin Se Yeon from the start your obviously bias of other actors but I want you to know that she is not a bad actress it's on directing, in her other dramas especially now in Recipe for Love she's improved a lot, if the drama, writers and directors are good, she was able to deliver well, so I was hoping she wouldn't accept this kind of drama because it didn't really help to her acting ability and progress, but neverthless her acting is not that bad here, the main problem is the style of directing, she is actually a promising actress and has potential, her acting growth is wasted in the wrong projects, sometimes I'd rather want to see more Jin Se Yeon in heartwarming lighthearted drama and great sageuk with a good director and writer that to do justice her acting abilities than in bad makjang, thriller, melodrama, bad romcom or any complicated series that are not really contributing to her growth, so I hope after Recipe for Love she get another heartwarming drama again but in sageuk drama or profession drama that her role is a warm-hearted teacher to her students or a nurse with care for her patients, anyway I'm still happy now at least I got to see her growth in her new drama and that's when it proved she is a good actress too. Five Fingers is actually a good premise but the plot and directing is kinda messy, actually I like all the actors and actresses in this drama because they're also friendly in real life and became good friends to Jin Se Yeon, especially Ju Ji Hoon but after this series I stopped watching any drama from this writer and director because not a big fan of their works, I love the actors and actresses here but disappointed in writer and director.
