Haha. Enpress Ki is my most favorite drama as of yet. Period. I love it so much and it is what I call precious.
However, emotional attachment aside, I'm also a critic. And I agree with every single point that you picked up. I also noticed all of these things. Especially the whole lotta shitty 'twists' they pulled towards the end of the show. Again, agree with the parts that dragged. Especially for people who weren't all that interested in Wang Yoo (Me).
However, I guess it's a classic case of drama timing and personal bias. Ultimately for me, the good in Empress Ki outdid the bad and earned a solid 10 from me.
While we don't agree on many things, I love to read different point of views and I want to let you know that this review was very well written. Good Job!
I feel the same for all the drama except full house. I think the only reason the drama worked because of aom-mike's…
I see where you're coming from. Mike and Am did look good in the beginning to me too. However due to the excessive draggy parts in the drama and the repetition of scenes, it quickly became lacklustre for me.
Fully agree with you ;)And you're totally right about that one thing about Shi Mok. Why did he feel the need to…
True and true. He also let loose those pretty smiles so definitely not as emotionless.
There could also be this justification that for him ending corruption was just his job. And because he was emotionless he didn't feel the pull towards greed and promotions and stuff. That's why he just focused on doing his job??
But I still would've liked something more concrete.
This was my first drama by Jang Hyuk and honestly I just loved him. ^~^ His extra-ness included lol. And girrrl…
Seriously, everytime you talk about your book, it increases my anticipation!
About King's Woman, how is that drama? I just can't be get in the mindset to accept Dilraba as the main lead. I loved her in Eternal Love as the supporting character but I am not so sure about her executing a character like Nyang. And girl I have a serious negative bias against the main lead. Lmao. He annoys me to no end. So tell me, is it worth sacrificing my preconceived notions and adding it into my PTW list or should I jist drop into the can of 'never to be opened'. Altho, if you're comparing it to Empress Ki, it can't be bad.
Now to me it seems like a trainwreck that you can't look away from honestly. :D I think one day I am just going to randomly start watching it without much thought :p
I legit just had a steak the other day. :D With Shitake mushroom sauce. Was to die for, I tell you.
This is such a great review! Though honestly I have to say I stand exactly where I was before with this show. Lol. To watch or not to watch. It's such a hard decision.
What I do know though is that I need to have a tenderloin steak asap.
This is literally every MDL plot sypnosis for Chinese dramas ever. I've yet to come across a Chinese Drama whose plot isn't badly butchered over here. :'D #WhenTheJokeBecomesReality

Ah girl, you know you've got me rooting and extremely excited about your book. From all the times you've mentioned the process and described the work that's being put in- it literally just makes me want to read it for myself.
Yeah I think I can definitely see how Jang Hyuk can go wrong for people but for me his acting was just so refreshing. I am planning to watch Stranger as of now and not gonna lie, I am lowkey very excited for it. *-*

And yes, I think that's definitely a different point of view to be considered on Pinocchio!
Thanks for the feedback girl! <3

And yes I agree that Pinochio had its focus on individual character development rather than romance but since I was only discussing romance here...
Lmao Thankyou Now I finally know why people like Full House.
