OK guys hear me out. The "let's breakup" from the preview is actually part of their plan. They lure the incompetent assistant out cause they realize he has been following them and have a public "breakup" so that all the baddies think they've won and JiHyeok is too beaten down to fight, AND to distract them from their true plan which is to have Mom walk into the board meeting with all her lawyers and drop the bomb that she actually owns majority shares in the company, and then she votes Evil Dad out and as he tries to leave Darim comes in with the police cause she filed an assault report for the slap and they take him away to jail. Cue montage where we see our still very together couple coming up with the plan , them whining on the phone after how hard pretending to break up was with Ji Hyeok saying those were real tears imagining it. It's the only thing I will accept.

This scene was so funny.

Aw man really, it's been my fav romcom of 2025. I'm loving every week. I wish you could be enjoying it as much as many of us are, but in the end u feel how you feel.

Esp because it's actually not protecting the ML, it's her running away and not being able to face things. So it's actually kinda selfish in the end. Honeslty I understand the temptation to do that esp when you're poor and fatherless and going up against a wealthy CEO and his rich powerful friends, but the problem is Ji Hyeok has always had her back and really proven himself, so I hope the whole breakup thing gets subverted somehow.

Honestly I hope she leaves and starts her own company. She's clearly talented and doesn't need asshole dad's approval. I'd love for her to betray Tae Young in the end, and then goes off to live a life where the only person she needs to impress is herself.

I was rooting for the sister to have a change of heart but she really leaned into the evil, and now I just want her gone.

I loved all their cutesy scenes, I'm convinced they're dating IRL their chemistry is crazy.

I will be so upset if they actually break up, it's just such lazy writing at this point.
