I tried watching can this love be translated and i am not really enjoying the FL. Her makeup is terrible and i am not seeing any chemistry. I was looking forward to that show too. Hopefully this one does good. I love the ML and FL is mid because she's ruined her face with plastic surgery.

Sadly, I haven't been impressed with dramas this year. I watched a few. Hoping for next year to be better. Im more into melo dramas. Dramas that are mature. I really started losing interest in the romcoms seeing how they are usually all the same and the leads have to act ridiculous. I love Chun Woo Hee and SJK so maybe I'll give this a try.

Honestly i just think both females EJ and SY always had a hint of jealousy and dislike for each other. It was a very odd toxic friendship. They both had feelings that the other was always loved more and achieved more. I think that carried on through the whole "friendship" and it ultimately made EJ lose confidence in anything that was attached to SY. She even brought up how she was reminded of tje elementary school days where the boy EJ liked ended up liking SY. So i think that jad a lot to do with her deciding to end it with the ML. I think the writing for that relationship was ridiculous. He clearly loved EJ and only EJ but she let her insecurities that were attached to SY dictate everything. She acted like they slept together. The ML never crossed the line he just felt obligated to care for SY because of her brother a d how he died and the secret he carried. SY just used and manipulated kind hearted people to get her way. She used the "woe is me" constantly. EJ personally irritated me because she let SY control so much but was so quick to drop the man she supposedly loved.

I don't think it was cheating at all. I think the two felt connected because of her brother. I think the ML felt obligated to a certain extent to care for her and be there for her because of her brother amd how he passed. The ML heart broke for her and she definitely used that as leverage because she knew. SY used kind hearted people to her advantage. I don't think the ML knew how to explain his feelings so he said he was swayed by her. At some point though they all reached adulthood and yet EJ and SY still always felt a need to compete. It annoys me when adults act like high schoolers. No one ever communicates properly. EJ always had the right to deop SY and mobe on and libe her own lofe but she always chose to be in the background. The ML was done with SY even tried to distance himself from the movie project but joined anyway to make EJ happy. At that point its clear EJ ruined her own happiness because of immature thinking and never having confidence. I mean come on her whole argument in terms of the ML was because of when the boy from elementary school liked SY instead of her. So she thought the ML would be like the boy from school. Absolutely ridiculous mindset.

I thought the same thing. Its her sam character from Do You Like Brahms. She's a good actress and very pretty. I hope one day she gets a leading role in a romance. I'll forever hate how she ruined EJ and the ML's relationship. I didn't get any closure at all and it irritated me that they brought him back to just be tossed aside. What was the point? So he'd fall in love again and be heartbroken again? Stupid.

She was seen. Her problem was that she never made the effort to be there for anyone. She treated everyone like garbage but then complained that she felt unloved. The ML was in love with EJ and yet SY thought she was entitled to him because she knew him first. She completely wrecked a beautiful love and didn't even care. If i was EJ i would have never gave her the time of day again after everything she did. SY knew EJ was a good hearted person and she used that to benefit herself

SY had some sick obsession with the ML because she felt that he tied her to her brother. I honestly think she didn't want anyone but him in her life but he just didn't like her like that. As for EJ SY just couldn't bring herself to love her with a full heart because she was always jealous of her and thought everyone loved her more. Immature way of thinking to be honest. I also think SY had mental issues that prevented her from having normal feelings and thoughts.

Absolutely agree. I don't know why Korean dramas love writing the leads as heros or someone who sacrifices everything for people who are ungrateful. I don't understand why they even brought the ML back if it was just going to end with nothing. He truly loved her and she just tossed him aside. Like tou said she robbed herself of her own happiness all because she couldn't crawl out feom underneath SY's thumb. At some point i was hoping EJ would just tell SY to go screw herself and go live her best life. I loved the relationship between EJ and the ML wish we could have seen a happy ending for them.

Agreed. Its so ridiculous. Older male and younger female relationships never get judged but yet when the female is older it's somehow gross and uncomfortable. I dont get it lol.

Trust me many younger females hate an older woman being desired by a younger man.

It seems like many younger women just hate it when an older woman is seen as desirable. Men in their 40s go for women in their 20s with no issues. Why cant women do the same? If they are both adults and have a mutual attraction there is nothing wrong with it.

And thats your opinion. My opinion differs. Its strange to assume he is already going to suck before even watching the drama. Ive seen many dramas where they place an actress with people who dont fit them. Oh well it happens. SHS has this way about her where she looks really good with all her male counterparts. This drama will probably be no different.

SK sleeps on many actors. Its very annoying.

Gong Myung is a good actor. I think he'll do just fine.
