I would have to disagree, although the last few episode had poor editing the main idea was still delivered haha.

It wasn’t all of a sudden honestly. Xiu Yan is very righteous man and they spend so many year stuck together so I’m sure they talked about a lot of things. Xiu Yan is probably the only person that know the real Ming Qi and not just the Demon King. Ming Qi felt he because he was born as the demon king he was destined to be evil and the enemy of all creatures. He felt he had to be this evil demon king and had to follow the ways the God set but Xiu Yan explain to him look at the Pheonix, there was only suppose to be one pheonix at a time but one of the pheonix traded her life to change that, and how despite Feng yin and Yuan qi were fated never be able to be together they changed that as well. So Ming Qi doesn’t have to live by the identity he was born with, he can change fate by starting off with saving Yuan qi as thats definitely not something a demon king would do lol.

Hua shu changed because her belief that lower class species aren’t important was shattered. Also ironically she played a key role in fixing the misunderstanding.

Honestly tho. With such a great team + costume + OSTs I wish they took their time and did better on editing. Still sad about the LLTG ending ;-;

Long ago Ao ge was the immortal emperor and Xiu Yan was the underworld emperor. When they fought the devil king, in order to save Ao ge, Xiu Yan used his soul fragment to seal the devil king and Ao ge was only able to maintain 1 piece of his soul by storing it in his body but the main part of him was with the devil king in the seal. The main reason the Xiu Yan inside Ao ge was dying was because it was away from the body.

The devil king has been trying to get out and the barrier has gotten weaker so Xiu Yan decided he need to return to his body in order to buy the rest of them some time, so he erased Ao ge memory and his soul flew back to his body.

When they were all shooting their “power beam” at the devil king lol the devil king said to Ao ge if you allow the barrier to break theirs a chance your brother can escape and be free to tempt him and he really did get distracted and thus the barrier was open so naturally Xiu Yan got out. Yuan Qi sacrificed himself to seal the devil king again so everyone get to stay alive except Yuan Qi.

Also can we talk about how she told them how to save him but didn’t actually come help the process aunty what’s going on ;-; I thought you wanted to protect him she a elderly immortal right so she’s pretty strong no? The dream scene in 36 was so touching. I can’t even express how it felt when Feng yin went back to being A yin and Yuan qi went back to being Gu jin :’) may be one of my favourite scene of the drama. Also the soldiers apologizing in 36 was funny to me idk why lol

Think it was choice made by TLI team. I’m hoping they count it as a 2024 drama as technically it bleed into it right :’) Show some saying they were trying to reach some last of the year KPI (eye roll) who knows right

Really? I thought the water beast were really cute O3O lol I loved when they spat it was so funny. I didn’t notice the first time but after they had the recap in ep 35 I realized it lol. Yessss I especially love Greedy expectation ;-; such a heart string tugger. Silence Wang is such a great artist, his voice is so soothing too.

Honestly I think you can give it a try and if you get to parts you don’t like just speed up x2 LOL (there aren’t many without any annoying plots right) you don’t miss plot that way. I personally think their a lot of very very cute moment (at least try 10 ep?), plot was average but the whole cast did really well and a lot of though were put into the costume and looks :’) so just for that I really hope you give it a try 🩵 you can tell the quality of this drama is one of the best of 2023

lol good question I ask this everyday but honestly no one will know until it actually is officially aired bc even when announced it gets changed sometimes so we’ll have to wait. Like even for TLI it was aired so randomly and changed so many times. Any you’re interested in in particular?

Really well said, the scenes + costume were very pretty :’) not sure why people didn’t like the CGI, like I’m generally curious can someone show me what exactly is their idea of a good CGI yeah it was iffy at times like the fire scene in ep 35 lolll I just realized it look funny giving me YouTube vibes

2024 will be a big year for a lot of traditional dramas ;) like the whole Fox Spirit Matchmaker Series is a big production.
