To begin with the team for this drama did a horrible job of defending Lusi and address problems. Now the artist team once again is a disappointment. There was leak photo of Lusi’s new look and the artist team really put 0 efforts in and are lacking in skills. Many fans have gone on Weibo to show their dislike. Just look at this Weibo post https://weibo.com/7819649452/4985872109802420 take a look at this hairdo for Lusi in comparison to other actress, on top of that this is a jewelry drama, I was expecting showcases of many different jewelry. As many lusi’s fan may have seen her look for new years, compare her new years artist team’s look to this. This is the second time the artist team is like this now. Honestly if it wasn’t for Lusi good looks the looks for the FL in this drama is honestly dull. I really wish they would put some thought into there work because if the look is bad at the end of the day lusi is the one getting the hate.

The wedding was cut off because the production of this drama was rushed as they were push to air it. I believe the director even said lots of scene were edit out.

In my opinion after she realized Lou Yao saw her too, she realized she wasn’t as secretive as she though lol

Super late reply but I think they didn’t do a kissing scene because
Luo Yi Zhou is an idol so if you know then you know the reasoning behind no kissing scene. Also this is his first drama.

She was addicted to masturbation out of curiosity of sex as Galetron said. It’s a mental illness she has and her mom caught her masturbating and was ashamed of her so they set up cameras to watch her 24/7 to makes sure she doesn’t make the mistake again. She can’t control it so she calls it a beast inside her. That guy gain her trust and she told him her secret and he used her pua her. He had major narcissistic issues and he also used private pictures/ video to blackmail her. Tian Zhen mention his grandpa treating a patient with similar sickness and it was found that he had a tumour in his head after they died. So its not her fault, but her parents are too blind by pride and there traditional belief nor did they understand there own kid.

I like both of them too. I don’t hate Gu Jin but I wish he could be a little more strong willed towards the peacock then maybe things coulda been different. Yes I believe we should target are hate towards the peacock loll. I wished Gu Jin and Ah Yin coulda stay together a lil longer :’) Did you feel the lead between the lead is better in real life haha.
