Well she doesn't wanna kill him cause if he dies then he'll become the devil god from episode one haha. She wants to get the evil bone out of him. In my opinion she has fallen in love with him but just wouldn't admit it. (spoiler is that theres a few miss understanding going on and from the last episode aired theres another one misunderstanding coming up.

I heard that in the originally novel Xian Lin’s friend like her (the guy that’s always with him) the drama doesn’t explicitly stated it but you can see hints. Ie he always address her sweetly as “second miss” with a smile and when she wanted to go look for TTJ after getting out the dream he tried to stop her. I saw collages of multiple clips that kinda hints it and for me that scene is the most obvious. Haha.

Major spoiler warning ⚠️ So the FL has always loved freedom she doesn't care for politic she just likes wondering the world and helping people while doing whatever she likes. However she was forced to get involve with politic as the war started. Her kingdom as always been passive and peaceful so to her and her family they just want the best for the people and sometimes even if you don't wanna be involve with politic you have to have power to protect the people. The ML's ambition about politic is due to the unfair treatment he received from his dad and the evil queen and his evil little brother where always trying to make his life miserable, I believe the queen plotted and killed the ML's mother so that she can become queen so to be honest politic is just his hope of defence to protect himself. The ending was satisfying in the sense that they choose to give up leading the kingdom and just let the second ML to lead the kingdoms but technically they did united the kingdom as they finished the "big bad boss" and honestly that fight scene was unsatisfying and the ending is bitter sweet.

I agree with you so much tbh if the drama's plot gets bad honestly thats the directors fault. In my opinion lusi and yang yang did really well. I wouldn't have continue if it was any other. :') so glad you enjoyed it and for your sweet comment
