If that’s true it would be great. Like what @dewey said I can’t get with her acting , her expression and the way she enlarge her eyes. The storylines of fox spirit matchmaker are really deep which would really test ones acting ability and the fan base is huge so this would be bad for her if she’s not able to perform well. Based on her new released drama The Journey of Chong Zi it seems she still haven’t improved (no offence to her at all I remember watching her in the idol show produce 101 ) Also she has a big drama called Love You Seven Times pairing with Ding Yu Xi that is highly anticipated so i hope she did well in that because based on the spoilers i have seen the production seems high and the aesthetic is really nice.
Recently rewatched it for Jo Yi Hyun and Lomon. The ending really killed me ;-; what even man they just separated them like that. Based on the story Lomon woulda wanted to leave with her but instead they became just friends? I know right, I totally agree so I wasn’t happy with the director pairing her with the nice step brother of the ML. What I really didn’t get is why she herself believe she’s a decent person when actually she actually really shallow person like she literally knew the FL got kidnap and ignored it and tried to distract the ML from going to save the FL.
But I still feel bad because I wish he could be with someone who looked out/ supported him since it always seemed as if he always had to be the one to do the adapting to others idk if that make senses, like I wish they gave him someone who gave him positive mental support but instead he got a spoiled rich lady and I’m so glad he didn’t become evil and him and the ML’s relationship was really cute.
Also the FL character turned weird when it got to the 2FL if you know what I mean. Like I really like her personality at first where she hated and got revenge at whoever did her wrong and she is kind but not to the point where she’s airhead like she was logically (like how she was able to see through the ML that he was actually pretending to be a thug but deep down he isn’t) but when it came to the 2FL she kept doing the opposite and she tends to listen to what her husband tells her (like she listens as in she listens to his thoughts not like listen to his commands or whatever) but when it came to the 2FL she started turning air-headed and saying no no way she’s like that blah blah

I have watched chef hua but I didn’t enjoy it as much as this drama. But I appreciate the suggestion. This drama was just really comforting and sweet. Lol the jealous female side characters was so annoying and she looked awkward to me no offence to her like her little lip biting or upset expression. This drama was more about family relation and had the addition of really yummy cooking.
It seems like Su Oh is the likely male lead. I’m not sure however. Just going based off of screen time and interactions…
