Same I agree, I mention that as well. I tend to not enjoy dramas where all the FL cares about is dating or her world revolves around the ML or the FL is constantly chasing the ML. I was super excited for this too. I felt it would have been more logically if she just talked with him about birds as they both take interest in nature, instead of creepily clingy to him and trying to get him to fall for her. (That fault on the script not her though.) I like smart FL characters too. That’s why I especially enjoyed/ liked LLTG but there was fans that were man crazy and saying the FL was ungrateful of the ML. (Sorry for go off topic. Not sure if you’ve watch LLTG or WRTW)

I’m also her fan but I wish the best for her and for her to get better. Like I really liked her acting in Moonlight (not sure if you have seen it, that ones a rom-com too but that ones super cute) but her acting in this was really off for me especially in the face-off with other characters. If I was just trying to hate I wouldn’t have point out the parts I liked or picked at random unrelated things. I’m a big Lusi fan and that’s what I saw a lot in LLTG comment section. I wrote long essays too lol because they were hating on her for no reason. Also what’s there to like about him other then him being smart and handsome and sometimes nice to her. He’s a jerk at most of the time, like ditching her on that date without telling her he’s not coming especially it started raining too.

This small drama was super cute, only con was that it was super short and the story was left unfinished ;-;

Also I felt bad because I made you think there was new episode when there wasn’t. I know that feeling haha so sorry again. I just like discussing drama so I wrote this after I watched it.

Thank you. Her fans can be kinda scary at times. I actually quite like her voice after fairy and devil, I guess watching her in that now gives me a automatic filter for her voice haha. What was bad for me was the acting, like when she got drunk from the med and lay on the ML bed and was sleep talking, it sounded really fake and awkward for me. Also the whole logic of hiding how smart she is makes no senses to me ;-; I’m so glad we could share opinions its quite nice. Also the scenes where she came into the cafeteria bared feet with her bag of grape that no one seemed to notice not even the ML. :’)

Yes sorry for confusing you haha. The one on ep 15 @37:52 Idk it gave me her acting of when she’s dong fang qing cang. Especially when she speaks her line fast then slows down and deepens her voice near the end when she’s warning her to not act up.

No it’s this drama. The episodes was a guess cause I don’t remember that’s why i said I think. I never said it was a dramatic scene though lol. I said argue with another side character on ep 15 @37:52 to be exact. Are you on the right page?

Damn 3 fox spirt matchmaker stories at the same time, so exciting and I have high expectations. Looks like all 3 will be S+ quality. Loving the costume in the spoiler I saw of yang mi. I remember seeing Lusi ;-; what happened? Would love to see her in one of the 3 dramas. Crystal Liu would be nice too, I wouldn’t mind seeing her act with yang yang again (eternal love the movie was such a shame because of the script). I still wanna see Lusi though but I’m scared she’ll get hate again. Since the other 2 are being stared by old high classes female actresses, if so I would want to see Crystal Liu (she hasn’t been in many historical fairy dramas in a while), Lusi may be pressured to not accept this drama so my hopes are low ;-; I remember it was still lusi and deng lun before but bc of his scandal I forgot about this drama and now lusi is gone too.

Starting to watch this and I wanna say Yu Shu Xin is cute as always and she’s really pretty. Really liked her black dress and feathers pin look.

The romantic/ flirt moments were cute too, but be warned this is more of a no brainer rom-com where the FL use to have a crush on the ML in college but she was rejected by the ML so she learned to become prettier and became a beauty blogger making her more confident, and through some coincidence, she meets the ML again (but he doesn’t remember her because he never noticed her, the ML is one of those scholar student that only cares about studying character no interest in romance) and she decides she will get revenge by making him fall in love with her and then make him feel stupid when he finds out she’s not only pretty but smart.

Acting wise, I found her acting really awkward when there are dramatic scenes with her arguing with other annoying female side characters. As well as her sleep-talk acting. Those scenes where pretty cringey. I’m also not a big fan of the whole girl chase boy (its a long chase too), girl act dumb etc, but I’m watching it for Yu Shu Xin. There are some quirky scene which were cute. Like when she helped her friend ;) you know if you know if you know what I mean.

(Slight spoiler warning) in ep 15 i think theres a scene where she was arguing with one of those annoying side female character I mention and it was really cringey for me, it did reminded me of her acting of when she’s dong fang Qing cang (in her drama LBFD). It was awkward ;-; I’m sorry.

Yup haha which is pretty cute right. And LBY always kept the thread with him after, so sweet. I guess young businessman is better then durable string lol.

They kinda connected but what you could do is watch it speed up ;) at x2 speed haha it will be over soon and you won’t miss any references.

I see what you mean but for someone that grew up without anyone protection it would have been super out of character for her to ask LBY for help, yes its unreasonable and probably not smart but that’s how she’s been for 15 years. Plus her issues are small in comparison to his issue that he hid from her haha. Glad we could share views on this amazing drama though :) feels pretty nice as I miss this drama ever since it finish airing haha.

Oh that’s kinda funny haha. Let me tell you something cool, in Chinese her name together is the name of a type of string that is very durable, kinda like her personality :) Remember the scene where they couldn’t get the arrow out of LBY, she used that string from the necklace that her friend gave her, that necklace was made from that type of string.

Oh okay, maybe I’ll try reading the novel, the story seems really interesting. Thanks for responding and for the summary.
