The reason she kept pushing back is because she passionate about her work and also she felt that its good to get married on a good day kinda like for good luck the last time she pushed it back was because of something (i don’t wanna spoil so i won’t say what) but for our time she gets married in ep 14 haha.

I agree this make it seem like a fight between the idols in each chapter. The drama it’s self is compost of 3 chapters but technically its still one story/drama. This is kinda extra and tbh bad for the idol’s fan but I appreciate the staffs effort. Lusi already got a lot of hate on the Chinese plateform, almost everyday I can see posts talking about her vs gxt. So tired of this fan fight, like the idols them selfs are in good relationship, don’t get why the fans are being extra. I’m here for lusi’s chapter because I enjoy her acting the other actors I’m not a fan of their work but that doesn’t mean I dislike them, they are all very talented, its just personal preferences.

So they technically was engaged since childhood as when the FL’s parents died, they asked the ML to take care of her and everyone knows they are pretty much gonna get married (in 1 episode, the ML’s friends even refer to her as sister in law (in china people with good relationship or respect refer to each other as brother or sister thus calling her sister in law) but anyways they get married in ep 14 which is the last ep of chapter 1’s story arc

If you are watching for romance to be honest this drama is not for you it lacks in that genera, this drama is more about politics and history etc. But I’ll let you know in the next comment.

So basically he was sent as a spy to work undercover at the enemy’s side and when he gain their trust he even worked as a spy teacher their and trained many spies (this will come up later on when someone from the enemy side recognizes him as his old teacher). So when the village bully was about to fight back, remember the man that brought the bully the guns? He’s like a higher up so he recognized him I suppose and told the bully he couldn’t hurt him. That’s why the bully didn’t fight back. So he’s a good guy that’s working as a spy on the enemy side and the enemy side thinks he’s their spy working on the good guy side. Hope my explanations help lol. I don’t know the proper name for the two sides as I’m not familiar with this whole politic history thing but as a story I understand it.

I just finished all the episodes currently aired and tbh I didn’t have much expectation for this as I don’t enjoy this type of genre (like heavily political stuff) but I watched it for lusi and I’m happy to say I was surprise. There was quite a lot of touching moments that made me tear up a bit as well as funny moments but I do have to say lusi’s character is a once again a stubborn, strong, impulsive (hope she doesn’t get hate bc of this again). I knew almost any drama with lusi I’ll enjoy, because she just has that ability same goes with the ML, I never seen him before but seeing him work with lusi, he’s quite talented and they are quite cute. Do be warn though, if you are looking for romance, this drama isn’t it, the romance is quite light, more of it is about china starting a new china and wanting to better the lives of common people and getting rid of people that refuse to start a “New China”. Lusi’s character is a little girl whose parents were killed by the “villains” in this drama and so she’s very passionate about doing something for her country. I will only be watching lusi arc but I’m sure all the other couples arc will be good too. (There was this whole thing going on the Chinese plate-form where gxt’s fans were saying lusi isn’t the same level as her and they would only be watching gxt’s arc, my bb getting hate again, but me only watching lusi arc is because I only enjoy her acting, no offence to the other actresses but I’ll give the rest a try but like I mention I’m not a fan of this genre)

Love love the second couple. Hated the FL. Disliked the ending.

I see that makes sense. Despite a lot of people hating the idea i'm actually pretty excited to see this, the leaks looks pretty high quailty.

The only thing is I feel the other cast and costume are pretty but i don't see the character in them if I wasn't told who they are, not sure if this make senses. I understand its hard to match animation and real life but like only tu shang hong hong outfit resemble the animation a bit, her 2 sisters costume just look like pretty colourful fairy costume they didn't give them the fur coat etc like it was hard to know there characters.

Oh yes I remember now, this story arc is male centered, would love to see a young actress take the role I would like to see Zhao Lusi or Bai lu as well, especially Zhao Lusi because atm she doesn't have any historical drama planned I believe so it would be nice as she excel in historical dramas. On another note i'm super excited for Bai lu's two other S+ historical dramas.

It was intense haha. I’m glad you liked it. A lot of people didn’t have high expectations for it. You don’t like historical drama? What dramas do you like then? Are there any upcoming dramas you’re into?

Same I agree, I mention that as well. I tend to not enjoy dramas where all the FL cares about is dating or her world revolves around the ML or the FL is constantly chasing the ML. I was super excited for this too. I felt it would have been more logically if she just talked with him about birds as they both take interest in nature, instead of creepily clingy to him and trying to get him to fall for her. (That fault on the script not her though.) I like smart FL characters too. That’s why I especially enjoyed/ liked LLTG but there was fans that were man crazy and saying the FL was ungrateful of the ML. (Sorry for go off topic. Not sure if you’ve watch LLTG or WRTW)

I’m also her fan but I wish the best for her and for her to get better. Like I really liked her acting in Moonlight (not sure if you have seen it, that ones a rom-com too but that ones super cute) but her acting in this was really off for me especially in the face-off with other characters. If I was just trying to hate I wouldn’t have point out the parts I liked or picked at random unrelated things. I’m a big Lusi fan and that’s what I saw a lot in LLTG comment section. I wrote long essays too lol because they were hating on her for no reason. Also what’s there to like about him other then him being smart and handsome and sometimes nice to her. He’s a jerk at most of the time, like ditching her on that date without telling her he’s not coming especially it started raining too.

This small drama was super cute, only con was that it was super short and the story was left unfinished ;-;

Also I felt bad because I made you think there was new episode when there wasn’t. I know that feeling haha so sorry again. I just like discussing drama so I wrote this after I watched it.

Thank you. Her fans can be kinda scary at times. I actually quite like her voice after fairy and devil, I guess watching her in that now gives me a automatic filter for her voice haha. What was bad for me was the acting, like when she got drunk from the med and lay on the ML bed and was sleep talking, it sounded really fake and awkward for me. Also the whole logic of hiding how smart she is makes no senses to me ;-; I’m so glad we could share opinions its quite nice. Also the scenes where she came into the cafeteria bared feet with her bag of grape that no one seemed to notice not even the ML. :’)

Yes sorry for confusing you haha. The one on ep 15 @37:52 Idk it gave me her acting of when she’s dong fang qing cang. Especially when she speaks her line fast then slows down and deepens her voice near the end when she’s warning her to not act up.

No it’s this drama. The episodes was a guess cause I don’t remember that’s why i said I think. I never said it was a dramatic scene though lol. I said argue with another side character on ep 15 @37:52 to be exact. Are you on the right page?
