Campus fling with a star??

This one I feel lacked depth. And it felt very toxic and very stupid. They could've ended it well. They could have made her develop and be a better person but nothing really changed. She just gained some friends i guess but was still alone.
She still threw away a wonderful life to be anxious and stressed again? She still sucks at communication. I just feel like this was such a waste of time. I don't even know why they made this.

A love so beautiful ❤️

Favorite drama I've ever watched. I was not going to watch it at first cause it looked like another one of Netflix's revenge and marriage messed up dramas but this was so FARRR from that. The way their love story is written, the way it comes full circle and that fact that we're not lingering on irellavent characters or prolonging short misunderstands and the balance between funny and serious was just everything.
I binged it in one go and just couldn't go to sleep without finishing it. And then I watched it again with my sister right after because of how much I praised it she had to watch it. And it doesn't disappoint. I don't care about all the policial stuff people are spuing. this was a masterpiece and it will remain that way whether they like the director and writer's views or not. The people talking inf this low did not watch the same thing I just watxhed. Cause how. 10/10 would recommend if you like dangerous situations, or He fell first and then fell harder. It's just amazing. I can't say enough to good things.
Flower of evil, healer, marry my husband, and what's wrong with secretary Kim were among my top all time favorites but they don't hold a candle to this in my opinion. I just love this so much.

Cute romance with slice of life injected. Enjoyable ?

It was cute and sincere. It was fun. I laughed so much while watching it with my mom. I thought the begging in was sooo strong and if feel apart a little because of how slow they moved and we didn't get our kiss until episode 11 or something crazy like that.
I hated the ringers she put him through for no reason. I didn't like how he had to help her get over her broken engagement and go through so much just for this girl. I didn't like their bad communication. I liked how cute they were. Didn't like all the sex scenes, they felt unnecessary and like they were trying to beat it into our heads that they were sexually active. I just like those kinds of things to be unstated and classy like most dramas and it wasn't the case here.
I loved the family relationships. At some points towards the end, I started skipping the lavender girl because I felt they were taking over, especially when the two mom fought, and the dads just kept getting drunk. Also hated that they didn't get married and it just ended with them looking for a house but I got it... It was implied but still... I wanted the whole thing with the kids and everything. If would have been so cute.
I loved the acting and heart behind this. This is the kind of drama that made me fall in love with Korean culture and I'll forever be greatful for them.

Love in its purest form

It was soft and raw and I cried for the first three episodes straight. I was in pain for him. If you like watching characters slowly but deeply for each other, this is the one for you.

LOVES:
- It's just a cinematic marvel, at least the first few episodes.
- watching this feels like a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. Cozy, sweet, but a bit bitter yet satisfying and just what you needed.
- I loved that it felt like I couldn't skip a second of it. It was true storytelling in a fresh new way I haven't seen done before.
- it's the kind of healing slow burn I love. It reminds me of "When the weather is nice", but with a higher budget and even more cinematic scenes
- the fashion and OST are just chef's kiss
- this is the kind of drama 그 남자의 기억법 or find me in your memory wished it could have been
- they didn't play games when it came to the love confessions. I loved how straightforward everything was, and you never had to guess where they stood.
- how devoted he became to her. Her devotion to him was there, but he was unexpected.
- how they made the love interest that would have been the love triangle trope a good person instead of someone you hate. That's what I was expecting, and then I ended up liking her and getting sad for her.
- there was no unnecessary break up for stupid reasons. The reasons kind of made sense and it wasn't long and drawn out.

DISLIKE:
- How long they lingered on the second love interest that was long gone. I mean, for someone she just met, I felt she went overboard, and they didn't have enough time together for her to be acting the way she did.
- Their first kiss was long lingered on for longer. Considering how long we waited, I wished it would have been slower and more emotionally charged. That's the kind of couple they were to me. That's why it wasn't a 10 for me. When it came to skinship, they did great, but the big stuff, like first hugs and kisses, was not slowed down and focused on as being a significant moment. It was just natural and quick for them, which I got, but it wasn't enough for me.

Overall this is one of the best things I've watched this year. It's new and slow and healing and the actors were just a dream. There was no bloat when it came to side characters or supporting stories that would distract from the main love story. Everything came together for the good of the two main love interests and I loved it.

A cute love story and a lesson

I liked the concept of this one I thought they did such a great job and it did not feel like it was predictable. I really like the couple together. I liked that the people that were supposed to be villains and name pretty good people and that it was A. Redemptive hopeful story. I love how they ended it and how everything felt like. It was well thought out and while written instead of being an afterthought.
It was the perfect length and needed to be. And I really like over subjects that they covered. It did kind of feel like it was dragging around ep 9 and that is why im giving it 9 stars. But I think that it was just amazing. And I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Romantic slice of life with a strong lesson

Since I watched this a few days ago and I already watched another drama before this review, I kind of reflective and really nice. It wanted to be a slow burn, but I don't feel like the pacing was actually slowburn. Pacing story and a beautiful way to tell people. Something that is very important. That um, it is okay to stop drinking alcohol. I really like that and I think it addressed what I've seen in green culture like while watching all the jobs, you did it in such a great way. It was super inspiring and the lovest. Ory made sense since there was nothing that was just stupid and overdone or just not good. And that's why I couldn't justify giving it lower than 9.5. The only thing I didn't like was the weird little like action part. At the end it made sense, but I felt like it was weird that they added the nurse and made it suspicious. That was what I didn't understand and how it all came to fruition. But after I heard a story it made sense and I understood and I was fine with it but I didn't actually love it cause I felt like what is going on. I felt a little bit lost..
But over all this is an amazing drama.I would recommend it to anybody. It's not, it's just beautiful and it's a wonderful love story with a really important lesson and you can apply it not even only to alcohol but to any addictions. So I thought it was amazing. it's very well written and I just fell in love with the characters.

Almost perfect for me

If you’re like me and you care about emotional intimacy, devotion, clear romantic intent, and actually being let into the couple’s relationship (not watching from ten miles away), then this drama will hook you hard.
This was this close to being a flawless 10/10 for me. I was obsessed, invested, swooning, laughing, and fully locked in.

LIKES
— how rudely sweet the male lead is — firm, direct, dependable, and emotionally clear
— surprisingly funny; I was scream-laughing at moments I didn’t expect
— their chemistry — natural, charged, and effortless
— strong office romance energy (one of my favorite settings)
— forced proximity done right, without dragging
— the story stays focused on them; side characters actually support the plot instead of wasting time
— the mystery/dark tone around his powers added real intrigue
— loved how forward they were about their flaws and fears — no guessing games
— my jaw was on the floor when he suggested dating to sleep together — bold, shocking, and unforgettable
— zero second-lead syndrome, which says a lot
— the way he takes charge, protects her, and waits patiently for her emotional readiness
— how healthy it felt to see her mom move on after her father’s death
— I already know this is rewatchable
— for most of the drama, there were no unnecessary breakups, and their communication actually made sense

DISLIKES
— the intimacy early on was too in-your-face; I wish they’d saved those sacred moments instead of replaying them over and over
— it’s obvious this is Disney+ — less subtle than classic K-dramas, sometimes to its detriment
— the stabbing arc was handled lazily; dramas like this usually at least attempt resistance or struggle trying to avoid the outcome. But they didn't even try.
— the last 10 minutes completely betrayed the characters. Sudden childish behavior, toxic back-and-forth, and breakups that made zero sense for who these people were. it felt manufactured, like conflict for the sake of conflict

FINAL THOUGHTS
If you’re like me and you want romance built on devotion, emotional safety, and characters who act like grown adults once they fall in love, this drama delivers — once you overlook the messy ending.
The journey is phenomenal. The chemistry is real. The romance is bold and refreshing.
Rating: 8.5–9/10
(It was a 10 until the writers panicked.)
I’m still glad I watched it. I’ll definitely be rewatch it.
I just wish they had trusted their own story enough to end it cleanly.

No breakup love story but...

If you like office romances with loyalty, slow growth, and a couple that actually stays together once they get there, then you’ll probably enjoy this one. On paper, this drama checks every single box I usually love — workplace chemistry, devotion, and consistency — but for some reason, it just didn’t land for me.

LIKES
-They get together around ep 9 and stay together all the way till the end — no breakups, no nonsense
-well-written with solid pacing after the halfway point
-Great supporting cast and good balance between work and romance
-Loved that they worked through conflicts instead of separating
-The male lead’s devotion and growth were exactly my type

DISLIKES
-The casting felt off — everyone did a good job individually, but together the chemistry just wasn’t there
-The romance felt forced and lacked emotional pull
-The smiles and interactions started feeling unnatural toward the end
-I never got fully absorbed — I found myself distracted or multitasking instead of glued to the screen
-It felt like a great story that deserved a different cast or director

FINAL THOUGHTS
Honestly, this drama is like meeting the perfect guy on paper but realizing there’s just no spark. Everything about it should’ve made it a 10 for me, but it never clicked. Still, I appreciate what it tried to do and how consistent the writing stayed.
Objectively, it’s an 8/10.

Off-Putting message/Sweet love story

If you like fluffy but mature office romance, noona romance, enemies-to-lovers vibes, a very devoted male lead (he fell first and fell harder), and a drama that’s beautifully edited and easy to binge, then you’ll probably enjoy this one.

I honestly didn’t expect to like this drama as much as I did — and that surprised me. Despite my frustrations, I had a really good time watching it. The pacing overall was fun, the chemistry was there, the production was clean and modern, and I love a good office romance, so this already had a lot going for it.

That said… this drama also annoyed me a lot in some very specific ways.

LIKES
The male lead’s devotion. He was loyal, steady, emotionally available, and clearly all-in. I love that kind of ML.

The noona romance was done well. The age gap didn’t feel weird, and the chemistry worked.

The second couple absolutely stole the show for me. Their chemistry was amazing, their buildup felt natural, and the proposal was genuinely one of the sweetest moments in the drama.

The drama was funny, well-edited, and visually pleasing. Fashion, music, and setting were all on point.

I loved the office romance + light thriller combo. You know I like a little twist.

It was genuinely bingeable. I thought I had way more episodes left because I was having so much fun watching.

DISLIKES
The Western ideologies were extremely distracting and frustrating.
Abortion being pushed as the “solution,” polyamory being casually introduced, and the overall anti-family messaging really pulled me out of the story.

The hate-comment lawsuit plot was ridiculous. The way it was handled felt extreme and unrealistic.

The breakup was awful.
Breaking up with him at his foster mother’s funeral — after everything he had already endured — was unnecessary and cruel. It felt like drama for the sake of drama.

They dragged the breakup way too long and then rushed the reunion. I hate that trope.

Some content was not appropriate for the rating.
Sex toys, moaning/panting scenes, and explicit novel excerpts do not belong in something repeatedly labeled 13+. That honestly shocked me.

You can clearly feel the Amazon / Western influence, and not in a good way. It made the drama feel more Americanized than Korean, which I really dislike.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Despite everything that frustrated me, I still enjoyed this drama a lot. The romance, chemistry, acting, and overall vibe were strong enough to carry it. I especially stayed for the devoted male lead and the second couple, who were honestly perfect.

I’m giving this an 8/10 because while I loved the romance and had a great time watching, the messaging and unnecessary breakup knocked off at least two points for me.

Would I rewatch it? Yes, but probably selectively.
Would I recommend it? Yes — with a disclaimer.

Falling for Innocence

if you want something sweet, cute, funny, and warm with a very satisfying happy ending, this drama is such a good pick. I honestly enjoyed this way more than I expected to. The actors have amazing chemistry, and they did such a great job selling the relationship. I loved watching them grow together, and I especially adored the FL — she’s sweet, dedicated, soft, and kind. sometimes a bit too kind 😅

The ML starts off a mess (and a little frustrating), but I really liked his character development. Watching him go from chaotic to someone who actually steps up and becomes better was really enjoyable. Their dynamic was so fun — cute, funny, soft moments mixed with some emotional healing, which I love.

My biggest dislike was how unnecessarily long the breakup stretch was.
Episodes 13 through 16 dragged the angst way too long for me, and I hate when a couple I’m rooting for is separated for that many hours. It didn’t ruin the show, but it definitely cost it one and a half star.

Really good rewatch value — I can definitely see myself rewatching this

Overall, this is perfect for anyone who wants:
✨ A fluffy romance with emotional moments
✨ A broken ML + sweet FL combo
✨ Strong chemistry
✨ A happy ending you don’t have to stress about
✨ Something fun, light, and easy to enjoy

Hilariously embarrassing Gong Shim

If you love hilarious slapstick comedy, awkward characters doing embarrassing things, and situations that make you scream-laugh, you’ll adore this drama. I don’t say this lightly — it is one of the funniest dramas I've ever watched, and I was belly-laughing through most of the first half. The comedy was so loud, chaotic, and relatable. Their personalities matched perfectly, and watching two awkward people fall for each other was just chef’s kiss. I really loved them together.

Where the story lost me a little was near the end. It felt dragged out more than necessary, and I personally hate the forced break-up → time skip → reunion trope. I don’t mind angst, but it could have been trimmed. Still, the romance itself was sweet, there was plenty of screen time of them as a couple, and I actually loved the growth arc of the male lead — watching him go from a struggling goofball to someone respectable was surprisingly satisfying.

Now, what I did not like — the sister.
She was the real villain to me, and the way she mentally tortured Gong Shim deserved consequences. She never got punished for her behavior, and instead she got rewarded with the guy at the end? That was infuriating, and honestly the reason I removed half a star. I don’t mind forgiveness when characters pay for what they’ve done, but here everyone was forgiven way too easily. Some characters committed horrible acts and barely got any reckoning.

Another con was the styling. Gong Shim’s outfits and hair were rough — and I get that it was part of the humor — but it would’ve been so nice to see her transformed earlier. We only got a short glimpse of her pretty styling near the end. As someone who enjoys fashion, I wish we got more of her upgraded look.

But overall? I really, really enjoyed this drama. It’s chaotic, goofy, heartfelt, and surprisingly romantic. One of the few times I’ve seen a female lead chasing the male lead done tastefully — it wasn’t desperate or cringe, it made sense, and she encouraged him in a way that felt healthy. I loved the back-and-forth of who was chasing who as their confidence and feelings shifted.

Yes, the late-drama conflict felt like they were running out of things to fight about, but even then, I wasn’t bored. It aged well too — for a drama from its era to still be entertaining and not cringe in 2025 is impressive. I would definitely rewatch it.

It's okay not to be okay.. rom-com version

I just know I'm going to be rewatching this one because of the ginormous smile it left on my face at the end and how well they wrapped it. At first, I didn't know how to feel because I wasn't expecting him to have powers, and I prefer highly masculine male leads, and though later he fell more into that category, at the beginning, it looked so unsure of his character that I wanted to drop it. So glad I stuck with it. I just breezed right through it. It was the perfect break from my heavy mystery or deep romance dramas.

LIKES
-A new industry is always interesting
-His character seemed delightful and I hope it stays that way
-it's everything great about your run-of-the-mill rom-com, over the top, bright, light, and heavy, cute love, and everything in between -it's an office relationship ish
-They showed them in a light fun cutesy aegyo love that I rarely see with main characters and it suits them
-how they didn't do an unnecessary breakup and acknowledged that there's no breaking up(over fixable stuff), just a truce
-She switched between kickass to sweet girly and wasn't just masculine the whole time
-OST was killing it, I'm still bouncing and singing it hours later

DISLIKES
-too much craziness with the editing and comedic timing in the first few 10 minutes of the drama, but I get that this is slapstick over the top comedy, so...
-The ajummas overdo it sometimes
-They tried too hard to make him soft and feminine, so that sometimes it took away his charm and made him look like a whimp... They later fixed it.

So all my issues with the characters in the drama in the story were fixed and the end just was so nicely done with no insane breakups or tragedy that it shot up to a 9 out of 10 for me. With really high rewatchability score.

Bittersweet Reality ✨

Coming into this thinking it's just a little fantasy and just tons of romance with a bit of sageuk and I was so wrong.
It was heavy fantasy, and sageuk heavy, but the story and the production itself were so well done, their acting and range here were impressive.

LIKES
-When they finally fell in love in this modern timeline
-or course his devotion towards her
-Their acting and production were just top-tier
DISLIKES
- The fantasy was darker than what I usually like. Ghost and spirits creep me out. Not into it.
-The ending felt too open and unresolved. Not as clear as I would have liked it
-They focused on their love as an original couple too much for me. I would have liked the modern couple to have had more time to love each other instead of just seeing it in dreams
-More than them falling in love again, like I thought or expected, it was plot-focused.

Overall even if it wasn't what I was expecting or came in for, it still delivered a compelling love sorry that even though it didn't how I thought or wanted I still find myself liking.

a would be exceptional love story... but then

Before I start complaining, let me just say that this was one of the most wonderful love stories I've seen, and it's begging will always have a deep place in my heart.
It's so sad that the same beautiful beginning that I loved so much, because of her understanding and unconditional love for him, is what the writers decided to use to ruin this drama for me. What they did goes against the very core of her character, and they twist her into someone we can't stand. Instead, they should have found a different way or at least resolved the issues before the ending. But nope. So I couldn't get over being disgusted at how they decided to use the conflict to break them up. So here's what I loved, cause they're a lot to love, and what I didn't love so much.

LIKES

-This is the kind of slow burn I absolutely love. It's poetic and screams silently that you watch it
-Episode one was just insane and I was hooked. My jaw was on the floor.
-watching them grow slowly in love. Just wow.
-her steadfast devotion and love for him
- Their acting deserves an award. Especially his.
- Their chemistry was off in some bits but was fire when they let go
-how they balance between his character back then and now
-It was revealed little by little and let us fall for the characters and understand them more
-The fashion and OST went with this drama perfectly

DISLIKES
-After episode 10 I started feeling like the story wasn't going anywhere oh but they fixed it a few episodes down
-She suddenly started acting out of character and distrusting him for no reason. All she had to do was talk to him. I hate these fake "Let's make a reason for them to break up" parts. He's literally given her no reason to doubt him
-Their first fight, and she is already giving up on him, knowing everything he's been through. So lame.
-Ep 14 was just a filler cause they had nothing to do. I can tell I'm going to start hating this drama. Her fears are stupid and unreasonable.
- She begged to be with him, knowing he was disabled, and he was hesitant because of that, but he let her in, and now his disability is the reason she's leaving him.
- We all know it was because she was jealous of the second lead lady, and I wished they would have just explored that and gotten over it. But no.
-her wanting him to have hearing and be like everyone else when she knew what she signed up for feels like the biggest slap in the face and I hate her for it
- The scene that broke me was when he called out her name even though he couldn't talk. He was in so much pain. I wept for him. It genuinely broke my heart.
-There was no integration between him and her friend group or family, which was sad. -This is one of the endings I despise, where they waste my time throughout the whole episode 16 and give the characters 2 seconds to get back together with no real explanation, just expecting us to be happy that they gave us crumbs, and I do not like it. -The issue she left him for was never resolved, they just got back together cuz they missed each other, but like, what's to tell me that she's not just going to get tired again?

So overall, I will say I enjoyed this fresh new take and the concept was nice. I loved the actors and how mature everything was. I don't know if I'd recommend it to someone who loves clear-cut endings where all the issues are solved. If you're a completionist and must see a drama through, even if most of the main issues don't get solved, if they end up together, you're happy, then this is the one for you.

sweet love story stuck in a love triangle

I thoroughly enjoyed the main character's love story. I wish there were fewer love triangles and more of just their story. The ending saved this drama because otherwise it would be a 6 because of how bored I got with all the subplots and the back and forth of the relationships.

LIKES
-How forward he was, and how even in episode 4, ChatGPT was right, he's already very devoted. You can tell he's getting over his love for the other and getting increasingly curious about our girl.
- I was waiting for the abrupt ending with no real payoff or slow couple's resolution. But they did it. They slowly resolved everything with no questions left, and it went all the way through episodes 15 to 16. fully satisfying.
- There was no "let's fly thousands of miles away for a year and then meet again and look at each other longingly and then end" ending, which I despise. We got to go through it with them and see them come back together Stronger and more stable.
- Kissing scenes were drawn out and rewarding because we've waited so long for them to be together.
- I loved his devotion to her. Though he made mistakes, we, the audience, never question where his loyalty lies.
- loved their moments where he pursued her wholeheartedly, it was amazing came from a 6 to an 8 or at least a 7.5
- The conflict breakup made sense and wasn't just for a dumb reason, and she gave tons of chances before then.

DISLIKES
-I was a little bored until episode 4
-The pace felt as if they wanted a slow burn, they should have gone slower, and if they wanted the opposite, or just a standard love story, they should have gone faster. They were stuck in a weird in-between slow and fast.
-Already the subplots overshadow the main love story and I'm only on episode 4
-all the angst and back and forth
-The fact that they felt like strangers even after they started dating.

overall safe, cute and surprisingly deep love story that had to go through a lot to be realized.
