Love and family. What more do you need?
If you’re like me and you care about warmth, emotional intimacy, found family, quiet devotion, and romance that grows naturally instead of being shoved down your throat, this drama is absolutely for you.I came into this not expecting much beyond something “nice,” and it completely wrecked me in the best way. This is one of those dramas that feels like you’re not watching characters — you’re living alongside them.
LIKES
— The warmth. I don’t even know how to explain it properly. It’s the kind of warmth that settles into your chest and stays there.
— The sibling dynamic is unbelievably real. Their chemistry is so natural it genuinely feels like you’re watching actual siblings grow up together.
— I love how the male lead is written. He’s not cold, not standoffish, not emotionally unavailable. He’s kind, observant, worried, gentle — and that alone already sets this drama apart.
— The way romance is handled is so respectful. When he likes her, he’s straightforward. No games, no dragged-out nonsense, no dramatic internal monologues.
— The female lead is emotionally generous. She loves her friend, supports her, welcomes her into her space
— The forced proximity turning into neighbors was such a natural progression, and I loved how quietly that tension built.
— The emotional arcs hit hard. The dad breaking down, the boys leaving, the separation — I cried for hours.
— The transitional episodes were devastating in the best way. They didn’t rush the pain or sanitize it.
— The ending made complete sense. Everything came together naturally, not conveniently
DISLIKES
— I did wish the romance picked up a little sooner. Around episode 8, it briefly felt like it was slowing down.
— The chemistry, while good, wasn’t explosive — I wanted just a tiny bit more intensity between them.
FINAL THOUGHTS
This drama feels thought out. Every choice feels intentional. Nothing feels wasted. It’s rare to see a story that balances romance, family, grief, and healing this well without losing its emotional core.
I genuinely can’t rate this lower than a 10/10.
Maybe a 9.9 if I’m being picky — but emotionally? This was a perfect watch for me.
This is one of those dramas that reminds you why you love K-dramas in the first place.

so romantic: the "Player" and his girl
If you like dramas where the chemistry hits early, the longing is intense, and the romance doesn’t waste your time, you will absolutely love this. This drama honestly caught me off guard in the best way possible. By episode five, I was already screaming, swooning, and borderline obsessed. The pace is fast, the payoff comes early, and the emotional connection between the leads is explosive in a way that feels rare, even now.
❤️ LIKES
-The chemistry is unreal. When they look at each other, it genuinely feels like I’m interrupting something intimate. Their yearning, eye contact, and physical closeness are electric.
-The romance starts early. Kisses by episode five?? YES. And not just one. So many kissing scenes — honestly enough to rival Something About 1%.
-I love how quickly things resolve. Conflicts don’t drag forever, which keeps the emotional momentum strong.
-The way the drama handles a character entering a new world is so well thought out. Nothing just magically happens — everything is explained:
>His clothes don’t just appear; he steals them.
>He learns belts, buttons, and customs naturally.
>No plot holes, no lazy writing.
-The back-and-forth between the two worlds makes sense and actually builds tension instead of confusion.
-I love how loyal and devoted the Joseon-era characters are. That unwavering loyalty hurts in the best way.
-The storytelling style is so cool — sometimes it shows you something and later expands on it from a new angle, making moments hit even harder.
-This is 100% rewatchable for me.
I love that by episode 12–13, it teases the idea of them possibly getting time to just exist together in happiness — even briefly.
💔 DISLIKES
I hated that she hid him from people in her life instead of fully claiming him.
The amnesia arc dragged for about two episodes — I understand why it was done, but emotionally it was painful because I just wanted them back together.
Her manager friend was selfish and frustrating.
Even though the back-and-forth makes sense story-wise, it’s still emotionally rough.
Watching all of his people die in Joseon was heartbreaking 😢
⭐ Final Thoughts
This drama does what so many romances fail to do: it respects the viewer’s emotions. It doesn’t tease endlessly, it doesn’t withhold chemistry, and it doesn’t treat romance like an afterthought.
By episode five, I was already all in — swooning, screaming, and emotionally invested. The longing, devotion, and payoff are handled beautifully, and when they’re together, they’re together.
Rating: 10/10
One of those rare dramas that feels fast, full, emotionally satisfying, and deeply romantic.

Enemies to Lovers
This was such a cute, easy, feel-good watch. Nothing stressful, nothing messy, just sweet romance done right. It gave me strong rewatchable vibes, and I can already see myself coming back to it when I want something light and comforting.LIKES:
His devotion was EVERYTHING
Super cute chemistry between the leads
Loved watching him fall in love and quietly plan everything
No unnecessary long-distance breakup (thank you!)
They actually stayed together and faced things as a couple
Cozy, fluffy, easy to binge
Music, production, and acting were all solid
Even the second couple was fun and enjoyable
DISLIKES:
Honestly… nothing major stood out
CONCLUSION: This is a simple, sweet, fluffy romance with a devoted male lead and a very easy watch time. It’s not trying to be deep or dramatic—it just lets you enjoy the couple being together. Definitely something I’d rewatch when I want comfort romance.

Love that heals the ultimate enemies to lovers drama
If you love watching a couple actually be together, grow together, struggle together, and choose each other over and over again, this drama absolutely delivers.I almost didn’t watch this. BIG MISTAKE. Enemy to lovers done right. I actually dropped it after episode 1 because I thought it felt way too raunchy for a k-drama, too westernized. I judged it hard. But this turns into one of the most intimate, healing, couple-focused romances I’ve ever seen.
LIKES:
-One of the most couple-heavy dramas I’ve ever watched (actual relationship development, not crumbs)
-Watching them travel together and work through real issues felt almost like a relationship documentary
-Surprisingly healing and emotionally mature
From episode 4 I was completely glued to my screen.
-His honesty was refreshing—no games, no guessing
-The devotion between them was everything
-Every decision that annoyed me at first eventually made sense
-I LOVED that they didn't just stop at the reunion. But continued to life after the reunion and life as a couple—full-circle happiness
-Finished it with a huge smile on my face
DISLIKES:
The OST
-the divorced couple's problems were too prevalent in the middle.
-The classic one-year breakup trope (still hate it)
CONCLUSION: This drama completely won me over. I’ve honestly never seen a K-drama give us this much time with a couple actually being in love. It’s messy, emotional, real, and deeply satisfying if you value connection and commitment over flashy plot twists. I judged it unfairly at the start, but by the end, I didn’t want it to stop. For what I look for in romance dramas, this is a 10/10.

CHEMISTRY wow. skip everyone else
If you love rom coms and you're thinking of dropping this because of this horribly messy stories, don't. Wait till the couple get together because oh my gosh! If you like romance that makes you keep the remote close so you can skip everyone else and get back to the main couple, then you’ll probably really enjoy this drama. This is one of those love stories where the main leads completely carry the show, and every time they’re on screen together, everything just works. I went into this not expecting much, and it honestly surprised me by how hard I ended up falling for their relationship. This drama started off rough for me, but by the middle, it completely won me over — mostly because of the chemistry and how emotionally satisfying their connection became.
LIKES:
-Their chemistry. INSANE. Toe-curling, scream-into-a-pillow chemistry.
-The female lead’s naïve, carefree attitude and how she never takes herself too seriously.
-Her honesty and emotional openness — very refreshing.
-The male lead actor did an amazing job. Cold on the outside, absolute mush on the inside.
-Watching him fall for her around episode six was beautiful, especially after how badly he was treated by his ex.
-She sacrifices herself for him instead of being selfish, and that meant everything.
-Their connection felt natural and intense.
-The concept felt fresh, especially coming off My Sweet Mobster — very much in the same emotional lane.
-This went from a 7 to a 9 by episode 7 for me.
-NO breakup drama between the leads. YES.
-The ML is ALL man — the way he handled her and protected her was chef’s kiss.
-Loved how she didn’t let misunderstandings tear them apart.
-The male lead’s heart toward the second male lead and how respectful he tried to be.
-The second male lead actually had great potential with his own love interest.
-All the cooking, food, and restaurant world — I love seeing a new industry through a romance drama.
-His devotion. The way he pursued her parents and was willing to face consequences for her.
-Cold exterior, softest interior. My favorite trope.
DISLIKES:
-The casual attitude toward affairs and making light of marriage.
-stupid talking horse. why?why?
-this write ruined anymore drama for me with her bad writeming. almost happened here but I'm glad I stayed cause the Main Leads carried this.
-Episodes 1–3 were a COMPLETE mess. Sloppy storytelling and confusing character introductions. I had no idea what I was looking at.
-The mob characters were annoying and added nothing at first.
-The thug-and-his-mom storyline and all the ajumma antics were completely irrelevant.
-This should have been tighter. Cutting unnecessary side stories could’ve made this a perfect 12–16 episode drama.
This is one of those dramas where the main couple makes everything worth it. Yes, it’s messy. Yes, the beginning is rough. And yes, there are way too many unnecessary side plots. But the romance? The chemistry? The emotional payoff? Absolutely worth it.
If you’re watching for a deeply devoted male lead, insane chemistry, no breakup nonsense, and a romance that slowly sneaks up on you — this one delivers. I stayed for the love story, and I don’t regret it.

Criminally Good, Completely Addictive
do you like rom coms? WATCH IT!! If you like devoted male leads, found family, comedy that actually lands you'll love this. I honestly cannot believe it took me this long to watch it. The entire time I was watching, I kept thinking about how fun it’s going to be to rewatch this in a few years when I’ve forgotten everything. That’s how good it is.This drama completely surprised me. It’s well written, well paced, funny, emotional, and incredibly satisfying. Every character makes sense, every conflict feels earned, and instead of dragging things out with unnecessary breakups, it keeps introducing fresh problems that actually help the characters grow. I fell more in love with it as it went on, which rarely happens for me.
LIKES:
-The male lead. Period. Kind, gentle, devoted, emotionally steady, and SO lovable. Watching him slowly heal was my favorite part of the entire drama.
-The female lead is sweet, understanding, and refreshing. She communicates, apologizes when needed, and never treats him poorly.
-Their romance felt natural and sincere.
-Such a unique concept — former thugs becoming good people and running a company, done in a way that actually works.
-The ML fits his role perfectly. If anyone asks who should be cast as a CEO again, it’s him.
-Genuinely funny. I laughed out loud almost every episode.
-Conflicts get resolved in ways that make sense instead of dragging out pointless breakups.
-Great character development across the board. I loved learning everyone’s backstory.
-No ugly love triangle nonsense. Characters come together instead of turning evil.
-Every time I thought it would become predictable, it proved me wrong.
-By episodes 11–15, I loved it even more than I did at the start.
DISLIKES:
-The second male lead deserved a love interest. He grew so much by the end, and I really wish he had gotten someone.
This is a 10/10 for me, easily. One of my favorite romances I’ve watched in a long time. It’s funny, heartfelt, healing, and incredibly rewatchable. The devotion, the growth, the warmth — everything worked. I genuinely regret not watching this when it first came out in 2024, because this is exactly the kind of drama I’m always looking for.
If you love soft, devoted male leads and romances that make you feel safe and happy, do not skip this one.

Romantic Time travel done right
Why I didn't watch this sooner, I'll never know. I couldn't put it down. I came for the love, the romance, and the usual, and this one was everything but. It's offbeat, extravagant, flawed, and beautiful. It's done so well, and it's so relatable and lovely. Watch it now; you won't regret it.LIKES:
-chemistry is great
-the way they introduced the characters, the way the story was presented
-the concept is fresh and cool
-the redemption of the FL
-love how all the times he traveled to made sense and everything was connected
-character Development was on point
-the way they didnt use her scam as the main conflict to break them up and drag the drama but as a stepping to stone to something real
-they kept it half scary half fun and a little depressing. It all made sense and that's asking a love for a fantasyish drama.
-the costuming, the music, the direction and special effects were top tier
-the end of every episode is just chef's kiss
-the solution to the big conflict at the end made sense and it was both simple and complicated.
DISLIKES:
- I barely have any; just nitpicking.
- I wanted more couple time, but with only 12 episodes, I get why we didn't get as much. There's plenty for only 12 episodes.
‐ the transformation of the obese sister could have been better executed. There was no reveal for her hard work because we in one scene. We saw her losing some weight but still being really overweight, and then the next scene she was back to normal. And nobody cared. no one mentioned anything.
I realized it wasn't 16 episodes when I hit episode 11; I was shocked. Usually, I say dramas could have ended on the 12th episode to stop the dragging of unnecessary conflict, but this one... Just wow.
all in all someone give this director and write a trophy. They worked hard and it shows. This was an awesome watch. Just art.

I was expecting Healer or W and I got bad melodrama Instead
So I came into this expecting to see what the poster promised: a man with blades growing from his body while he sits on top of buildings and wraps himself in bandages, far away from the world, but nope.I got a horrible, immature little boy who is the worst dad in ML kdrama history and who physically assaults his employees without repercussion. The main reason was that I came for action and love, and all I got was teenage-level angst and tons of breakups for no reason that made no sense. A boy is just neglected and used to further the plotline when needed, and powers that they use to further the story when they need it.
They never said where or when his powers came in, or explored it deeply enough. He never fought injustice or really helped anybody. So this wasn't the superhero love story they promised with the poster.
Super disappointed. Hated it. In the end, it became a background show, and the ending was so abrupt and made no sense. Why were you hiding all this time just to show everyone your powers in the end? Made no sense.

I could watch it over and over again
This one surprised me. It was funny, witty, FULL of romance and love. What I LOVED THE MOST was that it had no angst or stupid breakups. This is the first drama in which I've seen the main ML act so cute and obsessed and devoted to his FL and I'm here it.It did take me a while to get into, like until episode 4 or 5, I wasn't super into it. I kept taking breaks because they took a long time to show her job instead of just getting straight to the romance, but in hindsight I get it. We got close to the characters and understand why they act the way they do.
My only qualm was in the middle with the plot about the anti and his mom. I felt they lost their way or missed some filling days and had to edit it together in a convincing way. The way they presented it made no sense, and I was so lost because there was no precedent for his explosive reaction. But then they went back to being themselves like the drama I knew and loved and that's when I realized I could watch this over and over again without any regret.
Overall an awesome watch. It was surprising how happy I felt watching it and how obsessed I got with it in the end, because I was not into it at the start, but it was so well done, it shot up to a 9.5 for me.

WATCH IT NOW!!
You know, when you see something so beautiful, you can't bring yourself to take a photo because you'll miss out on the moment, and you just wanna stay and enjoy it, that's how I felt about this one. Usually, I take notes and have a running list of my likes and dislikes. This one I couldn't even bring myself to start one cause all I had were likes. I don't care who you are, you can relate and might actually love this drama. The way they wrote it doesn't give you time to be bored. The actors' range and emotions, and just the storyline itself, are just stunning. The whole time, I was just amazed I couldn't find anything to complain about. Lately, I've been complaining about something in every drama, but this one left me speechless.
I loved how we got to understand all the characters. I love how their love carries through to everyone in them. Their love wasn't super fickle, and if there were real conflicts that kept them apart, it made sense, we understood why, and it never lasted very long, giving the story a great pace for me.
I was not planning on watching it because of his female personalities. I'm someone who likes strong, manly male leads, and the trailer didn't look like he was going to be, but oh my gosh, was I wrong. WATCH IT NOW. Literally stop reading this and go watch it. Especially if you like romance.

action pact drama not romance
ChatGPT recommended this when I asked for romance and deep love and some action, which is what confused me because I was waiting for the love part and once we got there finally it felt like an afterthought.I think I came here with the wrong expectations, as my rating is low, as it reflects my frustration with the lack of plot development with the two love interests.
Otherwise, this drama was engaging, fun, and full of twists. You never know what's going to happen or who's going to stab whom in the back. I had a hard time because they humanized the villains a bit too much for me to fully hate them but I think that's how it should be. So I'll give it a pass on that.
The resolution was well done, villains mostly got what they deserved and I just really enjoyed it overall and it left a smile in my face. The OST was fun and the fashion and cars were immaculate.

100% love with kisses sprinkled all throughout
One of my favorite dramas of all time because of how awesome the love between the couple was and how they basically only focused on them and they didn't try to fluff it up or add unnecessary parts every part was almost always completely necessary and it explained a piece of the story that you needed to know. I really liked how it was a lighthearted and how even the sad parts were understandable and you didn't feel mad because it was not like an understandable breakup it was really nice I really really liked it and I liked how they went into their lives even after they got married which usually drama don't do and I really love seeing that and I feel like my characters got married enough together for the rest of their lives which I love. Also can I add that the female lead was so strong she had a spinal like anything I've ever seen before usually they'll let the villain walk all over them this girl had to come back every single time and she did not fail I loved it that was so good I've never seen that before in drama so also I recommend it for that.
The rewatch value for this is so high just because I will recommend this to anybody since it's just so fun to watch and it's really cute so yeah if you like where couples stay together no matter what and just love each other then you will like this one a lot it's just so cute so fun.

THIS is how it's supposed to be. Watch and learn...
This is how a romantic drama is supposed to be written. They pretty much wraped it up with a bow and served it to us. I love it.If you wanted something light-hearted, but not too light with a little bit of a complicated plot. This is definitely going to be your thing. The female lead was really dumb. But it was because she just came into this world. I just didn't like how she owes with listened to people who did not matter, or two people who did not have her best interest at heart, but it all turned out well enough.
I loved how the main male lead was amazing. He was if super strong and did not break up for no reason like the other ones do. And he protected her lucky promised I really like him.
I feel like everything had time to be answered and come to fruition, whereas otherwise fill abrupt and like an afterthought this one felt well-thought-out and while presented. And I would love to recommend it to everybody. It's so good. It's definitely worth the watch.

Ummmm.....
This drama, in the first few episodes, was like a crazy good book you couldn't put down. Unlike everyone else in these reviews, I loved the light-heartedness and the slapstick comedy. Parts WERE overdone, but mostly it was funny to me. It kept me on my toes, with the injustices, and never knowing what he's going to do next. The infamous moment in episode 17 where he made THAT choice was also shocking and appalling to me, but my love for the ML was too strong to be mad for too long. I LOVED to hate the villains. The twists and turns might be unappealing to some but not to me.
My biggest qualm with this show is the ending and how inconclusive it was. I was stuck googling if there was a season two because I still had so many questions. and that's why I rated it so low. otherwise the other things, for me, can be overlooked,

Mid with fun costuming, editing and directing
If you're like me and half of the fun is the makeup, fashion, cars and lifestyle of the characters and the other half is romance then this won't be a one star for you. It'll be like a 5 out of 10 star drama at best. Just meeehhh. It was okay. It had great potential to ruin the student's lives, get FL in a better relationship with guy who truly deserves her. But no they decided to leave her with the murderous idiot who didn't know she was pregnant and went to get an abortion but ended up having a miscarriage? Okay. Also the people who beat up the kids didn't get enough punishment and were right back at it again. It just felt weird and rushed since the moment she found out he was the little brother. Even that I felt they revealed too quickly and she wasn't even angry at him at all about it.
Can we talk about the STATUTORY RAPE that was taking place all theought and how no one cared? Like what in the world?
