But if you cant really watch it then don't force yourself because XU Lingyi would not sleep with the concubines anymore after their wedding but he can't throw them out or else their reputation would be damaged

Maybe but not as interesting as aunt tong and Jie/Feng qing's mother and critics would say that they just copied that scene from minglan. If the screenwriter still has some remaining shame I hope it's not same as minglan's scene.

If it's really danyang then the screenwriter might have created another problem for Shiyi which I think is not true because when the actress who play danyang was interviewed she said she would be friends with Shiyi so I hope it's not danyang

I don't think it's danyang because there's nothing special on her giving birth. The show would show someone giving birth because it's relevant to the story. Only aunt tong and mother of brother Jie have a good background story that would require filming while giving birth.

Shiyi used her closeness to Zhen to get close to zhun/Chen. And Shiyi got closed to aunt Wen because she help her daughter get married to a really good family. Most of the dramatic scenes between mother and daughter are what I like about Zhen.

Yes the daughter was removed in the series which is a bit questionable. Since she has a great storyline. So I'm not sure anymore if aunt Wen would still be close to shiyi

In the novel aunt tong is Wallace's concubine. She was supposed to give birth to the eldest son but because of Yuan Niang's carelessness (Wallace's wife) she had a miscarriage and died.

XU si yu who's birth mother in the novel is aunt Qin is now the son of Aunt Wen in the series.

Zhun (his name in the novel is Chen) is Yuan Niang's son. The reason why Shiyi got married is to take care of him

Feng Qing is his name when he was brought in but in the novel Madam Tai changed it to Jie. He was the illegitimate child of Wallace's brother. I think in the series they would show that Wallace needs to adopt him because it's a big scandal if it's his brother who would be the father since he's married to a princess. So he grew up under Seven's care

Brother Chen is zhun. Feng Qing was the other name of brother Jie. XU si yu is the son of aunt Wen in the series but in the novel his mother is aunt Qin. The son of aunt Tong died during childbirth but it's one of the reason why Yuan Niang have a fallout with Madam Tai

I mean why take entertainment so seriously. If you have something you don't like you can avoid it to save your precious time. My take on this is I love watching this because it makes me feel blessed I didn't live during ancient time. I easily get jealous so I'll probably would not survive the house fights

In the novel Aunt Qiao actually got pregnant but had miscarriage. But looking at the story now I think the screenwriter wants to paint XU Lingyi as a really good man so I don't think he would be intimate with aunt Qiao.

Her name is Shiyi or eleven if translated in english. Their family didnt assign them another name aside from their birth number. She is the eleventh daughter of the Luo Mansion.
