I like how this drama is female centric......u would always see in action movies and drama where the ML would…
I strongly agree with you ! If you want I just made a list about FL taking revenge, there is more movies than dramas but maybe it will be interesting for you ? Here : https://kisskh.at/list/389dvaM4 I'll add more titles if I'll think of some others shows and movies :)
"I was horrified by the scene where an (seems to be?) homeless man was depicted as a barbaric man who hit King…
I understand that it could be a scene which just be passed like that and not so important, because as someone said in another comment it's not an important character after all. That's why I'm not blaming anyone there and wanted to point out some parts that struck me out personnaly. Thanks for your understanding and I do understand yours too :)
Right ! I agree with you, they just missed the point unfortunately but you're right having a start of this kind of conversation is a tiny step in the BL world. Anyway your comment is very constructive, thanks for that.
If you're going to conflate fantasy and reality, your BL experience will be miserable. The mission of BL creators…
Thanks for your answer really. I also heard this sentence in many BL "I don't like men, I just like him" and found it quite insulting too... I wish for more leading gay characters,as well as better trans characters instead of them always depicted as someone "comic and crazy about boys" but I know it's another debate…
In the beginning I thought BL was just a love story between two male lead, like romance plot which finally cast same sex main characters and not only for female entertainment (even if it's good money I know that too...) anyway I hope some BL will take this direction like you've said there is few ones that have portrayed this without hurting the BL experience :)
Although I believe that I see your point, I would tend to agree with TianQi. Unfortunately, you may be right about…
Thanks I understand your point of view, maybe I've highlighted only bad situations because I was truly sad and yes "horrified" to seen these kind of cliché (again) But of course I did laugh about some scenes which were made for comedy purpose in a right way, and enjoyed some couple development as King & Ram one. Like I said it was a matter of perception because I couldn't take lightly every situations and especially the main relationship. Unfortunately in BL plot, there is always some start of good talk but it usually lead to a weird answer that doesn't conclude in a good way... Good to know that not everybody agrees with what they watch and wish to see better plot, because that was my point.

Maybe it's just the representation of this person which I found too much of a cliché that's make me think twice... Of course violent and ill people do exist but the representation as a "savage" like that, for a comedy purpose, I didn't like it...
I agree that there are worst series than this one but it doesn't excuse to me this "not perfect conversation", it's a good point to brought it to discuss but I think the answer should have been better for this part in particular, but of course that's my own perception while watching this scene.

I'm not trying to conflate anything. It's okay to have fantasy, but it's okay to point some weirdly said things that just seems to be a part of rape culture which shouldn't be. I don't have anything about BL genre, if it was the case I would not watch it, and I'm not the kind of person who randomly comment just for hate. But no matter how much I like something, I can't be agree with everything I watch and be relax with all situations. For the majority of these series, I know it is made for female entertainment but a few gay people are watching it too, and what if some situations were badly perceived or caused harm to the LGBTQ+ community ? No matter how much some subjects are dealed with fantasy for enterntainement purposes everything shouldn't be accepted with eyes closed.
Almost rape? Horrified?...BL might not be the genre for you, dear. I wonder which BLs you've seen before this…
Unhealthy relationship, and rape "in disguise", there is this moment where Bohn & Duen talk about "if you did that to me, what would you think?" when talking about bottom and top, and the answer was like "I will accept" etc... But the real thing here is you don't do that if the person is drunk, is not "normal"

I don't think it's about the genre, it's about normalizing things that shouldn't be... Of course BL's series are not made for being 'that serious', I got it because I've seen far worst than that. But I wanted to highlight some point for once.
Best review ever ! Finally someone who said something worth ! I couldn't be less agree with you after watching this... Everything is said in your review, I'm happy to read something that makes sense :) Thanks.
I'm used to "not so good" plot in BL but sometimes I really think it's too much... There is many weird scenes in this series... Some "dialogue" are really out of the way especially about consent between two people, even if it was made for fanservice, they should teach that in the right way. The main couple seems to be in an abusive relationship, I don't know what is cute in the way Bohn treat his lover. And all these almost rape scenes... It's an habit to see that in BL but it shouldn't be there, it's not something to normalize. I know they don't have the best budget for making these kind of series and I really don't know about the plot in the novel but there is too much cliché here... I was horrified by the scene where an (seems to be?) homeless man was depicted as a barbaric man who hit King wtf I don't know where is it funny.... I wish BL series to have better script even if the acting is not very good, it doesn't help with this kind of story line.
