I've been waiting for it's release for a long long time.
Around April/May last year there were talks of it being released. Then I totally forgot and got busy with my college, internships. I even graduated and got my first job. but this drama is stuck in spacetime or what. just release it already broo... we are still waiting.

I wish I could watch this drama from the start without reading any spoilers about HM and his past.

I have read spoilers for other dramas and it was alright, my expectations weren't ruined. But this is one of the few dramas which deserved to be watched without context to enjoy all the suspense and thrill it has delivered. The storytelling and all the connecting scenes that brings the audience so much closer to the characters.

she has such a strong presence in her dramas. even the ml sometimes feel like support character when she is onscreen with them. very few can match her level 🔥

There's plenty audience for each niche genre. And other genre like bl/gl might be less appealing to this audience.

But I agree with one thing.. they should not restrict the genre or put huge censorship on it.

I don't like how they keep hinting that fl's mom and ml's stepmom could be same person.

if you are looking for recent episodes... search this drama on yt with chinese title not the english one. it's available over there with all 24 episodes.

I see now. But all of this just doesn't go well with his clean image. I don't see any of it reflecting. He's the bad guy but where's the buildup. I liked the backstory how these 3 become allies. we can see the inferiority complex in his younger version. but all of this is missing in the older version. He was betting on a child for dealing with his 2 allies. He was playing the good guy and everyone was covering him up. He threw all of it for a cause he believed in. He wanted power but the motive is lacking. His humble origin isn't enough. He's well off in court. They didn't show us how he still felt threatened and wanted power of gui seal.

This drama was lot more enjoyable up until the Marquis was alive. He was the kind of villain you want to see. Even the scheming Eunuch guy and his foster kids were alright.
