another drama? can you tell me what's happening now :(
Kim Min Gwi, check out his recent scandal. The Korean media is digging up dirt on him for cheating on his ex girlfriend, because of this, they are cutting a lot of his scenes out of this drama. It's just ridiculous, bringing his personal life issues into the spotlight.
20 minutes per episode and only a total of 12 episodes?! They should have made this into a movie instead of wasting time with 1 episode per week for 12 weeks. Smh...
I like the ML (actor) but I don't think he's ML material. I can't put my finger on it but I'm not feeling him.…
I agree. He looks very young and immature compare to the FL. He looks and acts like the annoying brother, not a love interest. I wish she was paired with a stronger ML for sure, but I am enjoying the storyline.
Am i the only one who rooting for jae-eun and na-bi?
I am rooting for them in a very selfish way. The concept of a toxic relationship is extremely self destructive, addictive and painful. We often lack self love and sense of worth and we tend to run towards the flame knowing we'll get burned. Our brain tells us to walk the other way, but the fire is too tempting. I'm rooting for them just to be proven wrong and people can change for the better!
"Just gonna stand there and watch me burn? Well, that's all right because I like the way it hurts. Just gonna stand there and hear me cry? Well, that's all right because I love the way you lie."
I don't know about ya'll but I've been in toxic relationships like this in my late teenage years up to the end of my 20's. The physical attraction and chemistry was so strong, it pulls you towards one another. But everything else within the relationship was all wrong, the lies, the pain, the tears, the constant arguments then the intense make up sessions. It's repetitive and exhausting but you just can't pull away.
This drama triggers those emotions all over again and it's all too real. I like the rawness and vulnerabilities this drama depicts. The ML is definitely a playboy but the FL is secretly infatuated with that fact. It's toxic as hell but both are willing participants.
The only thing I find weird and completely off is, JW wanted to leave the hospital to become a priest, that was his calling. Then he decides to stay at the hospital because of a girl, that's so contradictory.
I watched this drama with an open mind because after all, it's a fantasy genre. But I am really hating the love triangle shenanigan between the best friends and the girl. It's too complicated to comprehend and that's why I roll my eyes every time those 3 show up on the screen. The betrayal, trust, friendship, and disloyalty is difficult to watch. I hope she chooses neither one and they all go their separate ways. I fast forwarded through the last 2 episodes and I'm dropping the ratings on this. I just can't...
First, I'm glad there wasn't any romance between the MLs, there were moments of connection but I felt that it was more friendship rather than romance. Second, the ending wasn't rushed, it was long enough for a satisfying conclusion with no open ends. Third, I love Nara in this drama, she really nailed this character to the "T" and this kind of genre suits her very well. Overall I loved it. 9.5 rating for me!
This may be confusing and the plot makes absolutely no sense but keep in mind, this is a fantasy genre so anything is possible. I get the writer is trying to convey a deeper interpretation here that everything in life has a meaningful purpose even "Doom/tragedy" itself. With fantasy dramas, the possibility is anything can happen as long as the viewers are enjoying it, that's why this drama has such a high rating, the mystery/deity of the universe is an interesting watch. I'm enjoying this drama.
This is a messy "high school" style drama, immature characters, a lot of misunderstandings, jealous biatches, spoiled brats, no character developments, and it's not even a good plotline, then this is the drama for you.
Anyone remember the killings on TV in epi 2? I wonder if GSW is also a Gumiho or if there's a plot twist that he is some kind of mysterious creature as well. He has to be this annoying for a good reason.
