One thing i dont understand is the death of Ben like the ML and FL got it worse than but what do you mean he died…
Ben had previous injuries that hadn't healed, he had kidney and liver failure and there was no donor for him I guess. The FL though she was stabbed in the neck , it missed all the major artery glands while for the ML, the enemies already planned to keep him alive so I guess they didn't injure any major organ in his body

I know some people might disagree with me, but in the end, I can’t recommend The White Olive Tree. Somehow,…
I'll have to disagree with you on some point. Yes, the screenwriter might have not properly researched about PTSD and it's effects but one thing I know is the portrayal is spot on. Mental illnesses especially PTSD, depression, and anxiety disorder is not something that can be completely cured. It's like a bug or a tumor in your head, even though it's worked on and removed, there's a 1-4% chance that triggers would happen and boom you're back to square one, relapsing and feeling the worst. I'm speaking from both experience and what I have seen from other patients.
Mental illness can be maintained and controlled but it can't be cured completely. Only a genuine empathetic person can understand that.
It's not just Chinese people that don't understand understand mental health issues, but the world in general especially in specific countries in Africa

Just pushed myself to finish. Chen Zhe Yuan does a great job in here. He's a totally different person from all…
I'll say I started it for Chen Zheyuan also but I guess the series is not for everyone because I did enjoy it

Review is finally up and it's a long one, but I think that it does justice for the show and especially the actors…
Exactly. I have to say, the performance of every actor in this series was phenomenal, eye catching and heart wretching

Is this a happy ending ?
I'll say it depends on how you view it. It's not a typical happy ending but for the characters, that's the best ending for them

Thanks for your kind words. When you refer to "other woman or man drama", do you mean a love triangle? If so,…
That's exactly what I mean
Thank you

her true self isn't being revealed fully in those ep, in ep 15 16 you'll find out that she isn't that typical…
Exactly what I wanted to type. She wasn't delusional and stupid. Instead she was determined, smart, academically drived and most importantly she knew her priorities and set them right

On When I Fly Towards You Jul 1, 2024
To be honest I'd be delaying watching this series but I don't know why, recently five of my friends came to me complementing the series and expressing their love for the series, so I said why not? Picked my phone, downloaded it and binge- watched it in a whole say, let me tell you one thing I don't regret it.

When I fly towards you is a series I'll always treasure, it's wholesome, fluffy, funny, romantic, cute and a perfect coming of age drama. The chemistry between our leads from the beginning was obvious, they both cherished and believed in eachother so much (it's not something you see everyday). Especially the FL, she gave me so much joy with the way she believed in the ML at all times.

The innocency of young love developing from high school to college to after college was properly depicted, every character has the chance to grow and show themselves, no one was left behind at any point. The romance grew and built beautifully but most importantly, they didn't forget their goals in life but instead supported eachother to grow

From the beginning to the end, I can proudly tell you there was no boring scene, cringe scene, cringe conversation, unnecessary misunderstanding and break ups. The ML and FL understood eachother perfectly. I'm honoured to have watched such masterpiece
