Am really enjoying his..ummm.. multifaceted character in Tale of Nokdu. Glad he’s got such a prevalent character as 2nd ML. I think he could be a male lead easily after this.

You know its funny, i have been meaning to start Innocent Witness...it one best film at the Baeksang awards and for some reason I just havent watched it. I guess i am not into stuff where a kid plays a dominant role. Thx for your input on that and My Husband. I've been shuffling that around from CW to PTW for awhile now. I probably wont be into it either then.
Well-written review. These were my concerns going in b4 dropping...did I care about wanting to see the side stories? From what I saw in first 4 eps -Nope. I was wary about dropping becuz I thought I was gonna miss a romance btw the two leads, but apparently I missed nothing...or very little. I luv IU from My Mister. After all the glory from Persona, it doesn’t surprise me that this was written for her. Focused mostly on her. Too bad the Hong sisters got caught up in the hype/marketing value of IU versus writing a compelling story past AND present and certainly for at least the ML too.
Great article. I personally believe Xu Kai gained attention in his role as the bro to the queen in Yanxi Palace...then folks like me and others I chat with leapt over to The Legends, esp since he was the ML. I am now 75% of the way the Arsenal Military Academy supporting him and his FL as actors there. I have seen many of the above actors in all 3 of these dramas and now it makes sense why with your article. Thanks for putting together.
