I agree with you on your view of Nishijima. I also think his roles and acting as serious/strong characters are more on the positive spectrum. I would love to see and (I think) he could perform really well in different roles like cunning, manipulative roles (e.g. Hanzawa Naoki) too.

I was just mentioning those two specifically as I'm currently watching "Kinou Nani Tabeta?", and remembered the film "Creepy" in which both of them starred. Talking about Kinou Nani Tabeta, Uchino Seiyou is a really underrated actor in his age group (compared to Abe Hiroshi or Kagawa). Him as Sakamoto Ryoma is better than the majority of lead characters from Taiga dramas.

This guy is pretty underrated, he's really versatile.
I agree. First noticed in Shitamachi Rocket. Great performance in Seigi no Sei. Him and Touma really have great chemistry in Ore no Hanashi wa Nagai.
