An edge of the seat thriller!!
The seven relics of ill omen is a totally enjoyable watch with a new concept of dealing with the seven relics that have been a mysterious force from the ancient times.
The "Phoenix Squad" of five along with Mighty Kun set off on an adventurous yet horrifying journey of finding the seven relics and capturing them and saving the world from a disaster.
The Phoenix Squad of five and their friendship really stands out as the main asset of this drama. Song Weilong, Liu Haocun, Ao Ruipeng, Wang Yi Ting and Zhang Yi chi really have given excellent performances. their acting was very realistic and natural. Kudos to them for bringing life into the characters of Luo Ren, Mu Dai, Jiang Zhao, Yan Hongsha and Cao Yanhua respectively.
Also, Yang Hao Yu who played Mighty Kun did a very good job as the person guiding the team of five.
The plot, screenplay, romance, friendship, teamwork all were handled perfectly.
All the other cast fitted their roles perfectly. The CGI were good, not excellent.
Though the concept is very thrilling with many edge of the seat moments, I however felt the ending was rushed/hurried and some concepts could be explained in much more detail.
Otherwise, it is a very good thrilling drama with I thoroughly enjoyed it.
