Shrek seven devils-simple yet amazing!!!
Tang San and his Seven devils together with their masters bring to us a very simple, light hearted yet amazing and entertaining Douluo continent.The plot revilves around spirit masters and various mysteries arou d them in the Douluo continent.
The main focus however is on the seven students of Shrek academy and their stories.
I liked the emotional development between these seven students, also with their masters and how they stay lotal to Shrek academy, despite overcoming many hurdles and difficulties. They deal with powerfhl spirit masters, titled duoluos and even various academies with their tacit understanding and excellent team work.
I particularly liked the action scenes in this drama. The special effects were also good.
All the cast were excellent in their performances. As usual, Xiao Zhan never fails to give excellent performance and Tang San is another example.
Wu Xuanyi and the rest were also very good in their roles.
There may be some times, when the drama pace may seem slow, or sometimes you may get bored, but the plot is very good and as the story proceeds, it becomes much more interesting.
So, this is a highly recommended drama!! You will not be disappointed.

Could be much better!!
The drama started off well instilling with a kind of enthusiasm to watch it further in me.But as it progressed further,the writing lacked depth and intensity too.Maybe if few parts were written much better,the drama would be an excellent series.But somehow the story went downhill after few episodes.
The saving graces were the actors whose performances were good.Tge production, costumes and locations were also good.
For me it is strictly a one time watch.

An enjoyable watch of everlasting love
The story focusses on Jun Qi Luo,from Yannan,who gets captured by the to be wolf lord of Beixuan,Xuan Lie,who is searching for Jun Fei Fan,Baigong's heir,for resolving the mystery of his parents death 12 years ago.Angelababy as Jun Qi Luo/Jun feifan, is smart, practical,kind,matured,dedicated,skilled and intelligent woman who is well known for the weapons she designs as Baigong's heir.
Song Weilong as usual,shines as Xuan Lie,who is smart,brave,confident.His love for Qi Luo is undeterring and exceptional!!
How the both of them solve all the difficulties that come their way and pass all the hurdles to be together at the end forms the next part of the story.
The pace is good with very few boring moments.Costumes,sets, locations,all are very pleasant to watch.
All the actors fit their roles perfectly.
Overall it is an enjoyable and a decent watch!!

Could have been better
Shining just for you starts off in an interesting manner but as the story progressed,,failed to keep me engaged till the end.The plot though good,somehow went flat after few episodes.Actors acting may keep us hooked till the end.
However,the sets,costumes and interiors were very grand and were very good to watch.
For me,it is a strict one time watch.
Watch it for the lavish sets, grand costumes and actors.

Justice for a relentless effort!!!!
Under the microscope deals with a unique concept of land measurement and silk poll tax.Renhua county ,one of the 8 counties under Jin'an prefecture,has been paying 3530 tales extra tax towards the silk every year,for the past 100 years.Shuai Jiamo,known to be an arithmetic nut, accidentally encounters differences in land measurements and title deeds which leads to a conspiracy hidden for the past 20 years and eventually opens up the reason behind his parents death.
In a short drama spanning 14 episodes,the presentation was done excellently.From the investigation to the mystery unveiling,the process,the people involved,the pain taken by the protagonist and his friend, everything was perfect.
Zhang Ruo Yun ,Wang Yang,and all the other actors played their parts well.
The story, sequence of events, the twist,all were good.
I felt a slight discomfort only with the locations,but given the premise it is reasonable.Other than that,it is a highly recommended and worth watching drama.

Thousand years for you has long been on my watchlist and finally I am glad that I have watched it.The plot mainly revolves around Lu Yan, the general of the ancient Shu dynasty who patiently waits for the return of YunXi,the saintess of the spirit clan for 3000 years.He accidentally encounters Yu Dengdeng who is the embodiment of none other than Yun Xi.
Then begins the story of pure love entangled with mysteries and conspiracies unraveling deadly secrets along the journey to achieve peace between the human and spirit races.
Ren Jialun as Lu Yan, is cool, smart, decent,matured, very reserved,well balanced and duty oriented general who devotes himself to the protection of the people of the ancient Shu dynasty,precisely the human clan.His acting was excellent as he could express emotions through eyes with almost very few dialogues for him to deliver for his role.Ren Jialun,really appears as a classical hero for me and once again this drama proves it to be true.
Li Qing as,Yun Xi/Yu Dengdeng is perfectly cast for her role.I cannot imagine anyone else except for her.From her portrayal as the noble,peace loving,caring,kind,loyal saintess to a tomboyish,naughty,domineering yet cheerful,kind,loving,caring, courageous and brave Chieftain ,she is excellent all the way.Her dialogue delivery was also good.She brought life to the character of the Saintess and Chieftain,imo.
I liked the story of Gu Beixi and Bai Shiqi,though it was short lived.
Xin,Dahai,Deng deng's father and Uncle,are the ones that everyone need in their lives.Their support and love towards Yu DengDeng and Lu Yan is unparalleled.
All the actors did an excellent job in bringing life to the whole drama.
The story keeps you hooked with different types of conspiracies and obstacles that always stumble on the way of the protagonists and their friends.Many secrets unfold as they move from one place to another.
The costumes, sets, locations, visual effects and ost were also good.The background music matched well with the scenes.The flow of this drama is very consistent without any deviations.
Also,I really liked the little conversation between Lu Yan as general and saintess YunXi.
Their moments ,though were very short on screen, surely impress us.I really enjoyed these scenes.
On a conclusion note, Thousand years for you is an enjoyable,impressive,simple drama.It showcases pure love between two individuals which remained eternal even after 3000 years.
It blends mysteries with morals perfectly and strikes the right balance with the audience.
A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DRAMA 👍👍

An excellent, impressive, engaging sequel
The second season has far exceeded my expectations and also to be precise,the first season too.The cases the team of five dealt with are well written and the analysis and investigation parts were excellent.
Each and every case was very interesting and kept me hooked till the end.The last case was my favourite in particular.
The way even minute details were analysed and investigated was really impressive.
Also,the bond between the team of five stands as the main asset of this drama.Locations, costumes,sets,plot, twists and turns,logics,screenplay everything is perfect about this drama.
The actors gave their outstanding performances.
A highly impressive and entertaining and engaging sequel .
A highly recommended drama which is a must watch.

Impressive, entertaining and engaging!!
Lu Lingfeng, general of imperial guards,who is known to be arrogant and reckless crosses paths with Su Wuming,a disciple of Di Renjie,while dealing with a string of cases in Chang'an,the capital city of Tang empire.They are joined afterwards by Pei Xijun,a talented painter,Chicken Fed,a good physician,Xue Huan,disciple of Lu Lingfeng,and then Yingtao ,a swordswoman.How the team solve cases that stumble their way as they move on from one place to another forms the main crux of the plot.I liked the way how the team solve cases with detailed analysis into each and every clue,with cute and sweet interactions between them.I especially enjoyed the rapport between Lu Lingfeng and Su Wuming.The team thereafter develop an emotional relationship with each other.All the characters are well written.
The pace is very good with almost no boring moments and the twists in the cases are perfectly solved.
Overall it is a very good investigative kingdom drama with a perfect teamwork interlaced with emotions and logical analysis.A highly recommended drama!!

A simple light hearted costume drama!!!
Wrong carriage,right groom has been on my watch list for a long time and I am glad that I have watched it.It is a simple light hearted drama with a right mix and a perfect balance of all emotions and elements.The plot was good,though it is not a new one.The way the drama and the story were presented is highly impressive!!
The actors,story, screenplay,pace, costumes,settings,interiors, locations everything were perfect.
I love how the drama ended on a happy note with all the problems solved in a decent manner.
Ao Ruipeng and Tian Xiwei were good as the main couple.
Zhao Shunran and Bai Bing Ke were decent and gentle in their roles.
The drama was quite interesting too with enough twists and turns to keep us glued to it
Overall a very PLEASANT and DECENT watch.
It is highly recommended drama if you are looking for a light hearted, impressive and simple yet interesting costume drama.

A brilliant and outstanding drama!!
Hunting Chinese drama is one of the best dramas I have watched so far.I am so glad that I had chanced upon this drama in MDL.Plot-The story kicks off with the death of Qian Cheng,a small factory owner,who claims that he is cheated by Wang Bolin, the owner of Kerui pharmaceuticals.The police officers of Beijiang crime branch come on board to solve this high profile crime,which involves stock market manipulation,money laundering,murders, bribery and greediness,under the leadership of Director Yang.Sooner,an economic division to catch economic criminals is formed under the Ministry of public bureau.
The male lead, Deputy Director Xia Yuan,who later on becomes Director,is honest,sincere, dedicated,smart,intelligent,hardworking,and values law over emotions.
The female lead,Officer Wu Jiaqi, is smart, sincere, straightforward, intelligent, spontaneous and enthusiastic woman who has past which involves Wang Bolin.She aspires to be police to bring justice to her mother.
Performances -I liked the chemistry and the little and cute romantic track of the two leads.I liked how their characters matured and developed along with their relationship.
Wang Kai is brilliant in his performance.He is one of those actors who can express emotions through his eyes.He is an excellent actor who gives perfect and apt expressions,be it emotions, investigation or romance.
Though this is the first time I have watched Angel Wang,her performance is very good.She is really impressive.
Now, coming to the main antagonist of this drama,Wang Bolin, played by Liu Yijun,is cunning, manipulative,smart, yet emotional person towards his family.Liu Yijun,excelled in his performance.Each and every expression in each and every scene involving him,were brilliantly portrayed by him.From being sinister to scary to being cruel and threatening others,yet showing love towards his family,his performance is the main highlight of this drama.Liu Yijun is an outstanding actor.Kudos to him!!
Hu Jun,who played the role of Director Yang,is remarkable and deserves a special mention and appreciation for his performance.Kudos to him too!!
All the actors were excellent in their roles.Each and everyone have given their best.
Music-The background music for each scene and situation is apt and suits the ongoing investigation.
The plot is really solid and the pace is excellent.There were no boring moments,atleast for me.Each and every scene was well written.The screenplay and editing is excellent!!There were many tense moments and also some moments kept me on the edge of the seat also.The whole idea of catching the criminals in different countries with the help of the local police was too good.That src of the drama really impressed me.The whole drama was very intense and grippy from the beginning to the end.
I really liked the way, how the thoughts and emotions of each and every person,who were directly or indirectly involved,were perfectly blended with investigation and analysis of the case.Every detail was handled perfectly.
Conclusion -Finally,this drama is outstanding in all aspects for me .It is definitely a MUST WATCH drama for its engaging plot and presentation.A HIGHLY recommended drama that deserves a thumbs up.

A different concept of investigation
This drama uniquely deals with insects as clues to find the original culprits of every crime.Tan Jingtian,played by Gala Zhang,is an student,who is determined to know the truth behind his mother's death.But he accidentally gets involved with investigative bureau and later on helps them to solve many cases in which there maybe no clues and also might meet a dead end.
He mainly uses his knowledge of the behaviours of insects to solve cases and catch the culprits in crimes in which the police could not find any breakthroughs.
The concept is relatively new and kind of unique,because solving a crime based on insects,their habits and behaviours was nice and manages to keep you hooked till the end.
Though the drama has the male lead trying to know the truth behind his parents death,I liked the concept of insects more.
Nevertheless,all the mysteries are solved in the last episode which I felt could be written better.
Though some flashbacks were repetitive sometimes,the pace of the story was good.The plot was designed with good number of twists and turns.
The cast were good in their acting.
A unique drama which will not disappoint you.A good watch!Will definitely watch the sequel too.

This is one of the best Chinese dramas of 2024 that I have watched.It is a package of emotions, friendship,love,affection,righteousness,justice,family ties, betrayal,scheming,cunning,cruelty and all the elements of a human life.The drama starts off with a narration by Yuan Mo,the male lead who lives carefree and makes living by giving travel passes to those who wish to stay in Changle city of Yong.He introduces us to Sifang pavilion,which manages many affairs of the country with the help of its East and West courts effortlessly and is headed by Mr.Yu who brings up Yuan Mo
And then Yuan Mo meets the carefree yet domineering and mysterious Ah Shu,Wang Kunwu who is transferred here from military barracks,Yuchi Hua,daughter of Duke Er,who manages Jingzhao prefecture,Ji,Shen,An Xiuyi,Susu,and others.The events that take place in Sifang pavilion and how they affect everyone forms the latter part.
Yuan Mo is witty, humourous,carefree, intelligent,cool and smart.Ah Shu is smart, intelligent,cunning yet learns to be responsible afterwards.
Wang Kunwu is one person who you would always want as your friend.He is responsible,righteous,calm and reliable.Yuchi Hua,though the daughter of Duke Er,has no such airs,is one of the sweetest characters in this series.
Ji and Shen are also funny and good friends.I particularly liked the character of Mr.Yu.He is affectionate,loving, caring,yet stands for justice.
Tan Jianci,Zhou Yiran, Du chun and Adi Kan were perfect in their roles.Their acting was on point.
All the other actors did a fantastic job to bring life their roles and present an entertaining drama.
The costumes,sets, locations, music,pace,plot, screenplay everything are very good.
The thing that I liked the most is that this drama strikes a perfect balance of emotions,both on positive and negative sides.
The friendship between the 4 leads and even the members in the pavilion along with Mr.Yu was awesome.The emotions were perfectly balanced,be it love or friendship or family.
The envoys were also good without any ill intentions and did their best to bring peace.
Prince Duomi,though appeared for a short time,was sweet.
Uncle Kang is a loyal, caring person who did what he could till his last breath.
An Xiuyi and Susu track was also good.
The antagonist,Man In white,is extremely cruel,vicious,cunning and his ruthless.The twists that unfolded in the last episodes were very good.
All the scenes were perfectly linked to each other with only a few boring moments.
Overall I will definitely recommend this drama which is a perfect mix of emotions, politics and suspense.It is a worth watching, nice drama .

It can be cited as a political drama with the female lead caught in a soup.Tiffany Tang,plays the role of Princess Weiyoung,whose family gets killed ruthlessly when she was Princess Xun er,and through a series of changes becomes Weiyoung.Here she meets Tuoba Jun,played by Luo Jin and both of them get entangled in various struggles,problems and difficulties.
Well,the drama is quite interesting.Though there may be some boring or dragging moments,it makes you watch it till the end.
I liked the acting of Luo Jin very much and Tiffany Tang was also good in her role.
The villains were vicious in nature and always try to create problems for Weiyoung and Tuoba Jun.This scheming process may become tiresome few times,but it is okay to watch it.
The costumes were good,sets and locations were also good.All the other actors were good too.Finally,it is a decent watch.

Merging of science and spirituality!!
The young ruler,Yuan Yi,is caught in a difficult situation regarding his kingdom falling into doldrums.He sets off on a quest to find someone with spiritual power who can help him solve the crisis and accidentally meets Ling Long,daughter of Huo Tu xin.Their meeting leads to unearthing many secrets of the past that could cause an uproar in Suchuan.The story was pretty good but failed in the stage of development.This could be better written with much more intensity.
The actors were good in their acting, especially Yuan Hong.He was the only saving grace of this half baked plot.
The drama starts off on a promising note,but falls flat half-way through the drama.
The VFX were fine, costumes were okay.
Screenplay and pace were a bit slow for me.
Overall the plot and characters need to be developed towards the end,but this drama utterly fails in that aspect.The only saving factor is the relationship of Father -daughter duo, especially the father.
Otherwise,it is a strict one time watch,only if you want to watch,else it can be ignored without any regrets.

Fails to deliver!
The beginning of the drama was very good.But as it progresses,the plot becomes weak,there is no intensity or depth in the scenes written.Touted to be a revenge drama of the male lead,this drama least focuses on this issue.Initially,all the disciples of Peter Ho,who has been betrayed by the roles of Yao Di and Liu Yi Jun,are shown to take revenge on the emperor and empress of the Heng,but none of them achieve them their goals,instead end up dying.
Even the male protagonist,who has returned as Li Xian,has no character development,neither does anything to take revenge nor does anything that is serious in this drama.His character lacks intensity and is weak too which does not develop till the end.
The role of Li Yitong, does not make any difference to the story.Her character was poorly written.
The only thing I liked is the acting of both the actors,Yao Di and Liu Yi Jun.
As a whole,it is a wasted opportunity which had great potential to become an excellent drama with good actors on board,but instead became a half baked drama which failed to entertain.
It is highly disappointing!!
