Beautiful yet painful story of Shi Ying!!
The story tells us a painful love story of a master and disciple, Shi Ying and Zhu Yan. Shi Ying, a banished prince from Kongsang kingdom, accidentally meets Zhu Yan, princess of the Crimson clan, before he turns 18,and hence starts a painful yet fated love story with a danger looming to destroy the world.The visuals were excellent. The special effects and the scenery steal the show. Each and every frame is very spectacular and appealing to the eyes .
The action scenes and costumes were good.
The plot had enough twists and turns, as expexted of a xiania drama.Though there were few scenes where I felt a bit boring, but still the story kept me hooked, since I like watching xianxia dramas.
All the actors did an excellent job. As usual, Xiao Zhan as Shi Ying, is the perfect immortal with an elegant demeanor, so far I have seen in all the immortal dramas. I am really amazed by the different emotions, expressions, moods, pain, love, care, Xiao Zhan, could portray . His body language is very pleasant yet elegant and the depth of emotions he portrays through his eyes, is 💯.His costumes match his attitude. Shi Ying, I will definitely miss you and as I already said, Xiao Zhan never fails in his performance.
Ren Min as Zhu yan and Alan Fang as Zhi Yuan are very good. I also liked Marcus Li as Chong Mong, the divine bird.
Finally, the longest promise takes you on a ride of emotions struggling to make their way through evil schemes and bring justice to the world. But what pained me the most was the character of Shi Ying who never got what he deserved, after going through all the pain and suffering.
A MUST WATCH drama!! Shi Ying, you will be missed!!

A good watch
Youthful glory is a decent watch!Though sometimes, I was annoyed by the FL, it is still watchable for its plot, and the ML acting.
Liked the acting of Song Weilong, Bao Shangen and the others.
I liked the romance plot of the second couple more than the main couple.
Overall it is a light hearted drama which can be watched for one time, imo.

Intriguing, engaging, interesting
The drama starts off pretty well and manages to keep the grip and intensity till the end.The plot is racy with twists and turns occuring at the perfect moments.
The story follows Ye Ping An,a psychiatrist,who sets off on a journey of revenge,for a decade old case along with her two accomplices,Cai Lian and Dan Xin and supported by Mrs.Gu.
On the way,she crosses paths with Yuan Shao Cheng,an official who rises in ranks despite of his humble background,Mang Gutter.
Together,they unravel the hidden villains and unearth a deepest conspiracy in the capital city.
Liu Shishi and Shawn Dou,both are fabulous in their performances.Their action is perfect.
All the other actors were excellent.
What I liked most about this drama is the way the plot has been handled without any deviation from the main plot with an underlying,subtle romantic track.
The twists and turns,screenplay,suspense, investigation, everything are perfect.
I highly recommend this drama.It is a perfect watch for who love suspense, investigative,racy dramas.

A decent watch!!
Wonderland of love offers viewers a complete package of emotions,love,sentiment,politics, jealousy, betrayal,brotherhood,and power struggles.Xu Kai and Jing Tian were good in their roles.
The production, locations,costumes,pace of the story,all are good.
All the other actors were good too.
Overall a good watch.

A mirror of the present day scenario
Angels fall sometimes tells the story of a young, enthusiastic, hardworking,Lin Tuo,the son of a surgeon and a nurse, who is in search of a job after graduating from university.He has a younger brother who is interested in music.He crosses paths with An Zhique,a hardworking girl who lives with her father.Soon they fall in love and Lin Tuo finds a job in a furniture company.But his life turns upside down when he is diagnosed with ALS and all his aspirations and happiness are shattered in an instant.The life of Lin Tuo is like a mirror to the life of many people in the present day scenario.A person's greatest fear in his/her life,IMO,is definitely regarding health.
Lin Tuo's character is an epitome of the feelings,angst,fear,tensive,sad,depressing moments one has to face when they know that they have been diagnosed with an illness/incurable illness.
All the people around him,though afraid of losing him,try their best to keep him happy and create memories so that he never feels lonely or depressed.
His parents who were career driven once,change their ways after they learn about their son's diagnosis.The transformation into their attitude and roles was good.
Lin Tuo's friend ,Chen Guangpu,is one friend every person needs in their lives.Their friendship is one of the most outstanding asset of this drama.
An Zhique,is a supportive fiance and I liked how she stood by him in his difficult times.
His senior,boss and all his colleagues also help and support him in his depressive times.
Overall it is a very good drama that showcases all our contemporary lives.
Maybe sometimes,the best medicine for a person to heal is not a oral medicine but to support them emotionally and mentally.
All the actors were good in their performances.The story was good.
A good drama to watch though it is very realistic in its approach.

Justice always triumphs
"A dream of splendor"mainly focuses on women and their struggles to settle in their life.It tells the story of 3 women from Qiantang to the Eastern capital and how they start and run a business successfully and establish themselves in the capital,make friends and eventually find their loved ones.Liu Yifei as Zhao Pan'er and Chen Xiao as Gu Qianfan were perfect in their roles.Ada Liu is excellent as Sun Sanniang.Jelly Lin as Yinzhang is also good..All the other actors were good.
The drama,to be precise is very practical and also interesting at the same time.
What I liked the most is the background is very bright and all the costumes and sets were very nice.The plot is also grippy with few twists and turns.The locations were scenicl.
Overall it is a worth watching drama which leaves a pleasant impression on our minds.

A ride through the five kingdoms!!
Meng Fuyao,a maid at Xuanyuan sect, accidentally meets Zhang Sun Wuji,the crown prince of five kingdoms,though she doesn't know his identity.Both of them pass through many ordeals,fight with the hurdles that come in their way,solve the problems of five countries under Wuji jurisdiction,wherein one country involves the birth secrets of Fuyao,and finally establish peace in the world.Firstly,to start off,the beginning of the series may be a bit slow,but it all leads to the development of the plot thereafter.
The action scenes of Yang Mi were too good.She excelled in performing all the stunts with perfection.Her acting was also perfect.She is the perfect choice for the role of Fuyao.I liked how she portrayed various emotions almost flawlessly.She is of the main assets of this drama.
Ethan Ryan as Zhang Sun Wuji,the crown prince,was also good in his role.He is smart,cool,intelligent,decisive,flirty,supportive,patient,and sometimes aggressive too.All these are played by Ethan effortlessly.
Gao Weiguang was also good in his role and the way he handles his state affairs with the help of Wuji and Fuyao was nice.
I specially liked the first kingdom's story involving the Water Manipulation technique.It was too good for me.Also,i liked how both the protagonists solved the problems of the five nations that he governs as the crown prince.
The identity revelation arc of Fuyao was also nice.
The CGI, production,sets,costumes, screenplay,plot,cast all were good.
The drama also progressed at a stable pace though sometimes there may be some boring moments.
I will definitely recommend this drama to be given a chance to watch despite being 66 episodes long.

Different aspirations,goals and destinies
This drama is primarily based on a story of 2 friends played by Cheng Yi and Li Yifeng.Both of them hailing from the same village,join in the same sect after a disaster strikes their village.The post events that take place in their lives forms the latter part of the story
Both the actors were quite good in their roles.
Yang Zi,Qin Junjie and Zhao Liying were also good in their roles.
The pace was good.There were not many twists and turns and the villains are the typical antagonists that we see in any drama.
Though the plot is not so intense, but still it is watchable.
A good wuxia drama.

Phenomenal drama!!
Only one word can be used to describe this drama- phenomenal and excellent!!From the plot to screenplay,acting to production,costumes,sets actors, everything is perfectly executed.
The revenge was perfectly planned and executed.
This is one of those dramas that keeps you hooked and glued ,without any boring moments and unnecessary plots.
A masterpiece political drama indeed.Glad I have watched it.

A voyage of unexpected twists
Every coin has two sides,even science too.The advancement of science and technology has adversing effects if not put to proper use.One such story is The Soul movie.
Chang Chen and Janine Chang ,in the movie,take up a case which is very complicated and complex.What appears to be a murder case,after many twists and turns, finally unfolds as a case with a hidden dark conspiracy.
Thought the first half of the movie,may not make sense or may be sometimes tough to understand,but the second half really is very thrilling and quite suspenseful enough to make you glued to the movie till the end.
The actors were good ,the climax twist was really unexpected.
Overall a good movie.It may not be everyone's cup of tea,but if you want to watch,then you will not be disappointed.

A mix of treasure hunt, politics and martial arts
To start with,I would say this is a typical Qin Junjie drama with lots of martial arts and at the same time politics going on.Men Sandao,room the previous dynasty,is brought back from the prison to stop people who are persuading the treasure.Qin Junjie was brilliant in his role.His body language,action scenes,expressing emotions, dedication towards his duty and everything about him were perfect.
Zhuo Bufan just wants to provide good food and a name for his sect.Even keeping aside his self respect,he accepts a task opposed to his ideals and principles.Liu Yuning shines in his role.But I didn't like the way his character ended nor his sect members were killed.That were some tear eyed moments in this drama.
The most annoying character for me definitely remains Wang Jialuo.He is as stubborn as hell,never tries to understand things,failed to apply the laws in a righteous manner and sadly did not show any signs of his improvement till the end.Though his character starts off being an upright and just constable,slowly it starts irritating you because of his naiveness and stupidity which otherwise caused many people 's deaths.
The plot is intriguing though it has its flaws,sometimes makes you unable to keep.up with the pace.All the characters have their own missions to carry out and their actions and reactions keep driving the story forward.
Overall,I suggest you to give it a try despite its flaws.It may not be everyone's cup of tea but you will not be disappointed.

The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity

Good always triumphs!!
Two yin-yang masters need to deal with a dark conspiracy in the royal court after a serpent awakens.The solid plot combined with beautiful special effects, the acting of the two protagonists and intertwined mysteries make it a must watch production.Qing Ming,played by Mark Chao,is thoughtful,,calculative, attentive,stands for justice,and goes to any lengths to protect the world.
Together with Bo Ya, played by Deng Lun,they form and invincible team and bring peace to the world .
The step by step unfolding of the dark conspiracy,the special effects towards the end,the friendship between Qing Ming and Bo Ya make it a must watch Chinese movie.
All the actors gave their best and Mark Chao and Deng Lun really stole the show.
At the end,good always wins over evil.
I am really surprised and also impressed with this movie.Definitely it's a good and must watch.

Story of stone and pearl!!
Jin Xing Jiang,played by Jasper Liu,is a stone who has transformed into an extraordinary human with high demonic power who runs a gallery which attracts many demons.He also solves the cases that involve annoying demons wreaking havoc in human world,brings together humans and demons who are in love with each other, and though few end in tragedy.
Jin Xing Jiang is a very calm,sincere, honest,person ,who wants to resurrect his fiance Ye Ming,played by Gulnezer Bextayar,transformed from a night pearl.
To be honest,I felt Ye Ming sometimes annoying,foolish and naive for the demonic power she possess.
I particularly loved the characters of Ye Li Na and Ye Qing Chun,who were very helpful, These brother-sister duo were much matured than the female lead.
Also,I liked the romantic track between Lian Xuan and Xiao Qing.They were cute,though it ended as a tragedy.
Yu shaobai is a typical annoying villainy,who with Ye Ming,create many unpleasant scens to watch.They both were rather boring to watch
Nonetheless,all the actors were good in their roles, especially I was impressed by the acting skills of Jasper Liu.
Also,there were different stories of different pairs,which though were not interrelated,but involved the main leads.Few of them were good.
This drama may not disappoint you,it can be watched once atleast for the different stories portrayed.So,for me it's a decent watch.

Poison-harmful and harmless
Han Yunxi,played by Ju Jingyi,is a talented doctor,who is well versed in poisons but has an ugly carbuncle on her face.Unexpectedly,she gets married to Long Fei Ye,played by Zhang Zhehan,on the insistence of the emperor of Tian ning,who is highly suspicious of his brother,the male lead.The plot has good twists and turns to keep one engaged throughout the drama.
Especially,Han Yunxi uses poison to deal with many diseases and problems and wins the admiration of Long Fei ye in the process and falls in love with him.
The pace of the drama is also very good.
All the scenes were well written, especially the cat and mouse games played by both the emperor and Long Fei Ye.
The fights,sets,costumes,and acting of the actors were nice.
I specially liked the role of Gu Qishao,played my Merxat.He is very sincere,helpful,caring, clear headed.His acting is too good and his characterisation is very good.
The chemistry of lead actors was also good.
Everything about this drama is good.A good watch.

Women empowerment!!
Before starting the review,I am glad that I watched a wonderful drama which is very inspiring,has values,morals and principles and teaches us to be determined and never get depressed even in the gravest situations of our life.I am really impressed with the way the drama was handled without any boring moment.Now going into the story,the Hua family faces the wrath of the emperor,after which all the men above 10years old,are exiled to the north,while the women and children are forced out of the city to a house in the outskirts where the facilities are lacking.Tgey don't have food,money,even blankets with them.
Here comes our female lead,Hua zhi,played by Zhang Jingyi, the eldest granddaughter of the Hua family,who never loses her confidence,is determined to earn money,provide food and bed for her women family and bring the men of their household back from exile and rebuilt their lost house.
Though she faces criticisms from the rest of the women in her family, gradually she gains the support of her grandmother and becomes the head of the family.As the head in charge of the family,she comes with a lot of ideas to earn money and never minds what others think of her.Gradually she gains the support of her family,and in course,all the women and children become very close and affectionate with each other.
She falls in love with Gu Yanxi,played by Hu Yitian,who is the commander of the security bureau and also a prince.
I liked his constant support to her in all her endeavours and their romance track was decent.
All the actors excelled in their roles and the plot is very good.
The concept of not losing confidence,not getting depressed even when life becomes upside down, determination to live,ideas to earn money were all depicted well.
What I liked the most was the character developments of each and every family member(women)as the story progresses and how they stood for each other by the end of the drama.
Also,I liked how the Hua family,despite their circumstances,still helped many people who were in distress like them and made them a part of their family,be it Shaoyao,or the teacher,or the sixth prince.
Also,the Hua family women protect their kith and kin and even go a large extent for them just like their second aunt.
Finally,I highly recommend this drama.It is worth watching.
Bottom line-an inspiring and warm drama.!!
