Does love really make you blind
To start off, the 1st EP is extremely hard to watch, it almost made me want to drop the series but I kept watching because of Plawan (Pon). I am aware that every time he (character not the actor) was on screen it was insufferable but something in me kept me watching. One thing to note, usually when there is a character that is lying to their future partner I tend to feel bad and root for the main lead. I FELT THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE. I was actively waiting and hoping for his downfall. Wan had so many chances to redeem himself and tell the truth but the fact that he didn't until he got revealed is crazy to me. I felt the most bad for Klu because you can tell he really wanted to take care of the restaurant and wanted to make friends. Honestly Wan and him wouldn’t have been such a bad couple. THE REAL REASON I WANTED TO WRITE A REVIEW, as I stated before I was hoping and waiting for Wan's downfall but I was shocked beyond words at not only the results of the comp (I lowkey felt like Wan was going to win anyway bc of plot armor) but the confrontation of Chef and Wan. *SPOILERS AHEAD* What do you mean you found that your lover was in cahoots with your enemy and proceeded to have a NC scene, this show must be a complete joke. I understand at the end of EP they were going to eventually make up but I just don’t understand how someone's first thought after being betrayed is to get intimate. AM I GOING CRAZY?? After seeing Wan downfall (depressed puppy mode), I was a little bit satisfied. Wan "learned" his lesson and found a new passion. Overall, this show is definitely something, I would say watch with your own discretion. It's actually funny in the lighthearted moments and I can see the effort being put into this show.
