Does love really make you blind
To start off, the 1st EP is extremely hard to watch, it almost made me want to drop the series but I kept watching because of Plawan (Pon). I am aware that every time he (character not the actor) was on screen it was insufferable but something in me kept me watching. One thing to note, usually when there is a character that is lying to their future partner I tend to feel bad and root for the main lead. I FELT THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE. I was actively waiting and hoping for his downfall. Wan had so many chances to redeem himself and tell the truth but the fact that he didn't until he got revealed is crazy to me. I felt the most bad for Klu because you can tell he really wanted to take care of the restaurant and wanted to make friends. Honestly Wan and him wouldn’t have been such a bad couple. THE REAL REASON I WANTED TO WRITE A REVIEW, as I stated before I was hoping and waiting for Wan's downfall but I was shocked beyond words at not only the results of the comp (I lowkey felt like Wan was going to win anyway bc of plot armor) but the confrontation of Chef and Wan. *SPOILERS AHEAD* What do you mean you found that your lover was in cahoots with your enemy and proceeded to have a NC scene, this show must be a complete joke. I understand at the end of EP they were going to eventually make up but I just don’t understand how someone's first thought after being betrayed is to get intimate. AM I GOING CRAZY?? After seeing Wan downfall (depressed puppy mode), I was a little bit satisfied. Wan "learned" his lesson and found a new passion. Overall, this show is definitely something, I would say watch with your own discretion. It's actually funny in the lighthearted moments and I can see the effort being put into this show. Was this review helpful to you?

My Thoughts
I would like to start off by saying that it's unfair for people to be upset that the last two episodes have the curse when we are watching GMM TV’s project. It may seem silly or strange how the 11th episode always has something going wrong, but I think this shows that even though we go through a lot of stuff, make up, and be happy, there is always going to be something that tries to test your love, especially when it comes to relationships. I feel like this 11 episode curse shows that if you truly love someone a new obstacle shouldn’t be something you run away from and at least try to get through it with your partner. At the end of the day, not every day is going to be a happy day and in a healthy relationship it’s not always going to be happy. There will be ups and downs and that's the reason why we have such shows in the first place to depict real life scenarios and depict that it will eventually be okay. I don't know how having the 11th episode curse can be seen as being lazy with the writing because I feel like when it comes to a script everything that happens is very strategic and not happening for no reason. Although I do feel that Mork being the main one to apologize is wrong but I feel like Mork had no other way to prove himself but to belittle himself unfortunately. Yes, it may seem unrealistic for them to break up over something that would have been fixed normally in the first 9 episodes. I am a firm believer that the REASON why Day and Mork broke up seems pretty trivial to someone who is not in their situation. At the end of the day, Day never wanted to be treated like a baby and he didn't want anyone to pity him so even for a split second if Day thought that Mork was pitting him, it would feel like a smack in the face. t Day has expressed he does not like to be pitied and was trying to feel normal. Their breakup does not defeat the purpose of trying to prove that Day is normal. I feel like it actually solidifies that fact because Mork did not see Day as someone to pity but someone to care about and that his trauma was so deep that he didn't want to lose him. With that being said, I do wish they explored his trauma a bit more with Day but there's only so much they can cover in a 12-episode span. Enough with the tangent back to the actual series, I have to say this has brought a new perspective to me. I love the fact that Day and Mork were able to humorous banter despite the disability that Day had. I also like that Mork never made Day feel small or abnormal for having a disability. I also like that Mork was able to adapt to Day so quickly shows how friendship/love can go beyond disabilities and beyond what we don't see. I got to say this is probably one of the funniest series I've ever watched because of the humor. A lot of people tend to have a problem with GMMTV's comedy and with their heavier topics but I felt like this humor in the series was very well placed it wasn't too funny but it wasn't too serious either and I like the balance between the two. I can't review the series without talking about the biggest elephant in the room, August. As much as I love this series August was so unbearable to watch ( no hate to the actor because he played the character very well ) August is an example of what Day was afraid of and didn't want his lover to be pitting him or to see him as something to take care of or a burden. That's why when Mork confronted August you could tell that Day's fear was that Mork was going to eventually pity him or feel like taking care of them is a burden. Although I don't like the character August he's a good representation of what we don't want to act like towards people with disabilities whether you can see a disability or not you should treat everybody the same. I feel like even if the story wasn't about disabilities the connection between Day and Mork goes beyond disabilities and beyond the script. I'm not one to be delusional about actors but I can tell that Jimmy and Sea have a true bond with each other and it grew even deeper while portraying the characters in this series. Even if they are not together IRL they have a strong connection that could never be broken so easily. Was this review helpful to you?
