FL went to teach ballet on the Tibetan plateau (the place where her father stayed before) as a fulfillment of her late father's wishes. After one year, ML and Lele went to look for her, and then they lived happily together (lived happily together can be found in the Easter egg episode)

Finally finished watching the whole drama. These are my views and perspectives of the drama.

It’s a slice-of-life urban drama, focus on family and work challenges, minimal romance or idol elements.
Characters are middle-aged, mature and non-impulsive.
The plot is non-melodramatic, no catfights, no revenge. It focuses on healing and family warmth over revenge.
The pacing is a little slow, requires a little patience and observation to fully appreciate it.

What I particularly like in this drama is how the male lead raised his son. He didn't always give direct answers or solutions to him when he was having doubts, he wanted the child to learn to observe and trust his own judgment rather than just listening to others. That's why, despite being only 12 years old, his son was so sensible, mature and empathetic. The communication between the male lead and his son was all about gentle guidance, not forced commands.

I also like how down to earth this drama is, no overly clingy emotions. The male and female leads didn’t act impulsively, nor did they express themselves in exaggerated ways like in many dramas. It vividly portrayed how mature adults should thoughtfully or harmoniously handle the people, situations and emotions in their lives.

If you watch it purely as a romance or idol drama or maybe expecting some satisfying revenge plots, you will be disappointed. So watch it as a realistic mature life struggles drama, then you will appreciate it. In reality you don't need to seek revenge for every injustice you encounter. True strength lies in the choice to let go of your grievances and find your own peace. So overall it’s a good watch for me.

I think the Genre is wrong for this drama. It would be better to remove the romance from its Genre.
This drama is a slice of life urban drama not a romance drama, I have mentioned before in the comment section that most of us might be confused by the English title given here. I don’t know who provided this English title or the genre. If the title is translated directly from its original Chinese title, it should be called ‘City of Dance'.

really a wasted material. romance is literally nonexistent and now only 4 episodes left and they will all live…
It’s a matter of what types of characters were written by the screenwriter for this drama. Wallace didn’t need to always play the same kind of explosive or highly emotional roles. In this drama, he played a more passive and mature individual who focused more on maintaining harmony and considering the feelings of those around him, rather than expressing overt, dramatic or impulsive actions. The same goes for the FL character in this drama.

Funny that audiences bring their western thinking into C-dramas
I also think we shouldn’t use western values to apply to Chinese dramas because both values are quite different esp talking about filial piety and how they handled conflicts etc

Yes, this is definitely not an idol drama, it's a life/family drama. That's why they used seasoned actors instead…
For me, it’s still okay for those few episodes showing them living their separate lives because each of them has their own commitments. Anyway, they are not young anymore, whatever course of action they are going to take, they have to look at a broader aspect. They can’t do something so impulsive. I think that’s what the story is trying to show us. But I believe the coming episodes will be better, they are starting to know the truth and reconcile soon.

Yes, this is definitely not an idol drama, it's a life/family drama. That's why they used seasoned actors instead of the same typical young traffic stars. I enjoy watching this type of drama more.

I find that the FL also does not have much of a backbone. After finding out LeLe is her biological child, she didn’t seem too eager to confront everyone including the ML to get things settled. The way she confronted the evil mother with the Dna report was also so weak, I was expecting her to shout at the evil mother or at least shove the report in her face, but yet she just sat there calmly. She was not sure whether the ML was involved in that lie or not but yet still didn’t go confront him immediately. What for ask the evil mother? You already knew that she lied all along and yet still asked this stupid question. Should go ask ML yourself. She is now exactly the same as when she was young, too weak. When she was young she didn’t even confront ML or at least call him to come back and tell him about the loss of their child. She just disappeared without saying a single word to ML and never contacted him all these 12 years too, making it look like the ML has done something very wrong to her…. so weird

why wait 12 years... and she said he never once tried to call her....! Did she try? lets hope.. things will all…
Did she say the ML never once tried to call her? Maybe I missed that part, but remember the flashback showed ML went overseas to search for her after the mother told him she abandoned them? Of course, if he could go to the extreme of flying overseas to search for her, he would also try to call her first, right? Maybe he couldn’t get through her contact no. or FL changed her contact no. or etc. If not why would he feel abandoned and give up on searching for her. On the other hand, the FL also didn’t contact him throughout the 12 years and didn't even say a word to him before disappearing.

Finished till episode 8. At first I thought ML’s mother hated FL so much because FL’s father caused the death of her brother (ML’s uncle), but today in the conversation between ML’s mother and FL in the wedding shop, the mother said something like FL’s father caused the death of two persons…..so one is the ML’s uncle, another one is who??
Hmmm…..the backstory now is getting more & more interesting!!

I wonder how little Le will accept his mother. As he said to his father "she achieved her dream" meaning…
Why he chose grandma’s version to tell FL, I think he must have thought this version is much easier or much more straightforward to explain to others why he has no mother.

Little Le told FL his mother is dead as what grandma told him, but in his heart he knew his mother was not dead, just gone away to pursue her dreams as what his father the ML told him.

started watching it and i am loving it. acting and production is top-notch. Story is not new unless it surprises…
Agreed, the storyline is not new, as are most of the C-dramas. I am watching primarily for the actors and their performances. So far their performances are captivating enough to keep me invested in watching.

So ready for this drama to drop! Wallace is my favourite actor, and Qin Lan is so beautiful. Both are amazing and look great together on screen

Have only watched up to episode 8, so far so good, but there is one thing that I couldn’t stand, which is the ML headgear. Something very wrong with his headgear in this drama, it looks ugly on him. Other than that everything is fine, the plots are interesting, ML and FL characters are strong, good fighting scenes, etc. Hopefully the ML will have a better hairstyle/headgear in the coming episodes.

Also wanted to add on that they also removed YBY scences to only 6 episodes and the drama will now focus on the…
But now that YBY has been banned, can this drama still be aired? Even though I like Wallace and wanted to watch this drama because of him, if they removed the main FL scenes and caused the whole story to become distorted or not make sense anymore, I would rather it not air.
