i think the reason people criticised her acting is because i think she doesn't chemistry with other male lead in the other drama, but this Drama, she's shown to have chemistry with Cha Eun Woo.

my theory is Prince Dowon is the son of the Previous King whom the current usurped the throne from, this is the reason why he kept as prisoner within the palace and the reason with his "Father" hated him, because Prince Dowon have a strong legitimacy to the throne than the current King.
