Honestly , I feel the same. MW and CM have a stronger chemistry in my opinion.
as i said above, their romance would never come to fruition, Chang Myung betrayed Man Wol, he got her comrade executed and he never tried to understand her heart and wanted Man Wol to match his standard, Chang Myung loved for Man Wol is selfish compare to Chang Sung Love for Man Wol, he loved her but he also understand her and her circumstance, he knew and see her suffering and he tried his best to make her smile beautifully, he would do anything for her and never put himself as his first priority, to Chang Sung, Man Wol is his first priority.

their romance never come to fruition, Chang Myung loved Man Wol but he never tried to understand her heart and be considered toward her, only Chang Sung able to do that, he can feel her heart, he knew and see how she suffered, he tried his best to make her smile beautifully, his loved for her is pure and selfless compare to Chang Myung love for Man Wol whom is Selfish love, he got her comrade executed and only thinking of saving her not her comrade, be a firefly for a thousand years for what? so he can tormented her for eternally.

this is the reason why i preferred Chang Sung over Chang Myung, since Chang Sung's love for Man Wol is selfless, he always put her first and never himself, Chang Sung is very considered to Man Wol and the one who knew her very well.

yes he loved her but his loved for her is selfish, he only considered his own feeling but not Man Wol's, but remember he's the one whose cause Man Wol's comrade to died including Yeon Woo, i think if you compare Chang Sung loved for Man Wol, Chang Sung are more understanding and considered toward Man Wol compare to Chan Myung, this is why i am saying Chang Sung is Man Wol's true love while Chan Myung was Man Wol's First love
