In my mind Pha isn't meant to be tolerable: he's meant to be an arrogant pr*ck. Godt played that more convincingly that Ben does in my mind.

Old Wayo was more feisty too: I think Bas nailed awkward grumpy teenager!

But I really loved old Kit: I think his acting was sublime. He played tsundere really well. I'm interested to see how mew Kit handles this.

I guess we read different fandom pages.

Ming and Kit were for sure more popular, but that's in part due to their story. It's more interesting. Their acting was better than Pha/Yo's as well, but few people were put off by the chemistry.
I think opinions changed when rumours about Godt's withdrawal surfaced.

Never a big fan of that storyline anyway: I will see how Ming/Kit plays out as it's the best in the Novels as well.
