Arthdale Chronicles 2 Sword of Aramun.....Wow! Every week it delivered a new surprise and our megastar Lee Joon Gi. He was showing us what a sensational action man he is... Not only that, his portrayal of those two twins is so impressive. He makes each one of them a unique character…..previously that Saya was a mean, conniving and tricky person with no redeeming qualities but Lee Joon Gi has made him human and we understand what made him like that. So we now have compassion for him. I think we even care about him. We don't want him to die. He has also grown up and more mature in his thinking. Then this character Eunseom he doesn't get over emotional about setbacks but strategises a solution. Every week I just couldn't wait for the next episode. Now it's all over I can't wait for season three. I hope Saya comes back stronger than ever and is a match foe Eunseom.

Shin Se Kyung surprisingly I liked her. She is not in the calibre of Moon Chae Won but she delivered and her and Lee Joon Gi had chemistry.....not as strong as IU in "Moonlovers" but her face for me protrays enough emotion to show her feelings and love for Lee Joon Gi as they acted together.......but certainly.....Lee Joon Gi slayed it.

The ending though was a bit fragmented....Ioved the last fight scene....... but sending off Saya and Nunbyeol? Anyway my hope that in the next series we get to hear their stories.

I think he brings a lot to the villain role because it's not always we want a good ending for the bad guy but…
Me too, I never seen a villain so mesmerizing and charismatic as this one. You feel for him because of his childhood upbringing and experiences. It is sad really. I thought Saya turned my heart because he is Lee Joon Gi......But this one is an actor I have never heard of. Wow! He should win an award for this portrayal.

I'm just waiting for the release day. I can't wait to see how he performs the role of these two twins. Up to now he has made all of his characters individuals that have come alive. We can believe they are actual people and not just fiction. All of them have all been so different. How is he going to mold these two. Their personalities are so unique. He has the potential to make the both memorable in the eyes of his fans. It is gonna be magnificent. Bring it on.

Rewatching this after a few years break. I'd forgotten how even more gorgeous LJG is when he was 15 years younger and just a little bit chubbier and fuller in the face.  He was the cutest no wonder we all fell in love with him after watching all of those older dramas.

I watched Jane the Virgin American style but I never finished it. It was starting to annoy me with it's mixed up story line and misunderstandings. I have no doubt that Im Soo Yang can pull it off. I will probably watch it. I find the Korean version better than the original but we shall see.

Flower of Evil is a one in a million drama. Heart-stopping suspense from our couple! It's filled with desperation and melodrama! I loved it so much. No drama has captured my full enthusiasm, intensity and interest so much. Took me along time to move on after watching it. No drama could compare.

I just started this and it is already so interesting.Song Joong Ki is the main actor and he is such a spunk.

He arrives in Korea and straight away the people he meets rip him off. They don’t know that he was part of the mafia in Italy. Now they have illegally taken away his building. They don’t know what they have done. What he will do to get it back.

Oooooh! It’s exciting and fun. They are underestimating him at every turn. They don’t know the terrible things he’s done in the name of the mafia.

I was looking at the name Vincenzo it reminds me of incendio.
English translation of 'incendio'
incendio
/di [inˈtʃɛndjo]
MASCULINE NOUN
fire
provocare l’incendio di to set fire to
i vigili del fuoco hanno domato l’incendio the firemen have got the fire under control

Shades of my Harry Potter experiences.

My Reasons why I drop dramas:
1. Telling the ending at the beginning
2. Boring beginning - long winded description of the characters
3. Annoying plot - Lead get into too much strife - Too many twists and turns -
4. Too many deaths - The big kill off
5. I don’t like zombies - I find them annoying and just unbelievable
6. Inanimate actors - poor acting
7. Sometime I drop when I don’t like the colouring eg. Too dark - doesn’t suit my idea of the of the drama view
8. I just don’t enjoy it and find it just duh! I don’t want to persevere
9. I feel like a sad ending is coming on and I just don’t want to watch that aggravation and make up my own ending.
10. The quality of the plot and story deteriorated and I just can’t handle it anymore
11. Replacing, changing or dropping an actor that I really liked with another one.

I wrote this previously:
It’s sad that bullying is so endemic in Korea, but it’s not the only country where it happening. It is just many the dramas have shown the world that this is going on. It unfortunately has given others developed nations a glimpse of the the backwaters of this horrific practice. The dramas showcase this as a establish tradition in many schools. It is accepted as the norm. What we have seen is that bullying is not just happening in school but in the whole community, in homes, businesses, Police Force even. Its not just the kids doing it, People need to change their attitudes: It is not right to bully others. Its harassment. It needs to be stamped out wherever it occurs. It starts from the home. Its too late for those brought up with this curse but all the world needs to start from now to make harassment of others unacceptable. If it happened in the past we now have to remove it from our psyche as human beings. Those who have done it need to ask for forgiveness and go forward with a clean slate.
I feel sorry for Ji Soo and have always loved him as an actor but disastrously his past has caught up with him. It maybe hard for him to survive this scandal but he has taken the first step.

Wow! This is a bit of a shocker. The thing is we see it a lot in the drama we watch. It must be true. Often victims don't go to the authorities (even in my own country) because they are further victimized by the court system. So they stay quiet hoping that it will stop. It is even covered up by the school systems. They say things like "it is part of growing up". In our country parents have even taken it into their own hands when it doesn't stop and the bully pleads victim. Parent have been charged in our country. Something has to be done to stop it happening in schools all over the world.

I've watched it for awhile now and I see why other viewers are frustrated with the men on this drama. Those women work so hard and are just too tired to fully take care of their husbands physical and emotional needs but the women need support too. As a woman in New Zealand there is only so much we can put up with and we are not going to allow ourselves to be treated as a slave and a maid for long periods of time. It made me think no wonder all of these Asian girls seek husbands and partners from foreign lands. Where they serve with humility, piety and graciousness. These men in Korea do they really just seek solace else where without trying to find a solution at home. It's pitiful. This drama is showing Korean men in a bad light. I keep watching hoping for a change of heart or for karma to hit them.
It is so different to our lives in NZ where we are taught that women can do anything and men and women have often got shared roles.....like our PM for example. Men tend to help share the homemaking chores when both of them are working or even men are househusbands and we think nothing of it.

Article Flower of Evil - Review Spoiler
I was thinking about the last episode of “Flower of Evil”. After all of the trauma he has been through already. He gets shot in the head and has selective memory loss, just the last 15 years that he had lived a father, husband and lover. Is this for real? He’s forgotten his wife and child and remembers only the brutality of his young life. Seems so totally unfair but he’s intelligent. I reckoned that he will work a way through this mess. His wife has confidence in him but is hurt that he has forgotten her the one who has loved him back to life. She patiently waits for him to figure things out but carries on her own life, I like how he does it by going back to his work shop and figuring out the memories he left there in his diary of what he wrote about his wife and the name of the workshop. Shows his deep love for her in the Greek legend. He is the ugly God and she is the morning star beautiful Venus. So he decides that they can work together to put back the pieces of his life. Then when they go to the kindergarten to get their daughter she confirms fo him how much he means to her. “Daddy you are my gift, because I love you the most in this whole world”. That was moving and touching. Loved this drama so very much.

It's been a month since "Flower of Evil" finished but i can't get into any new dramas. The format of FoE was so strong with its beginning hooking us in and the end a cliffhanger. Now every drama I start seem so insipid and weak. I miss that rush I was getting from FoE and that emotional and stress related fix. Help someone throw me a rope to a new awesome drama.
